Every mochi came with cream cheese which tasted gross. Wish there was an option to opt out. As you walk up and used a touch screen and a whole line of people behind you really don't get to ask for help. Wish there was an option for cream or cream cheese or nothing. It would have tasted better without the cream cheese. Overall it was not a good combo. I got the black rice taro paste one with egg rolls which was soft and not a good outter layer coating as it's gooey. My friend got the green tea pudding and she didn't like the cream cheese combo either. Bad combo in terms of taste! For close to $17-20 a mochi, it was a disappointment.

I've been craving this spot and finally had the chance to visit! The shop is very tiny, and it's self order at the machine. But the thing is, if there are a lot of people waiting for their order, it's difficult to get it the machine to order as it's tucked further into the shop on the wall. I ordered two items: - Taro Purple Rice Cream Cheese (Oreo Crumbs) - 7/10 - I liked the chewiness of the purple rice - Taro Matcha Brulee (Butter crunch crumbs) - 9/10 - love the combination of all 3 flavours Both mochis were pretty good! I love how chewy the mochi was and how much they stuff the mochi with the ingredients. The mochi is fairly big and it's definitely shareable. It was good to eat within the first 24 hours. After that, once the mochi hardens, it's not as good. I'll be back to try out the other flavours.

A mochi dessert spot that has probably the best mochi texture I've had, however the fillings are not quite to my taste. It's a small take out spot only and you have to order from the kiosk. You can see the staff making the stuffed mochis right in front of you and they pack those mochis up! The price point for these mochis are quite hefty, but they're really large in size. A variety of mochis to pick from like mango, coconut honeydew, strawberry, durian, matcha, and more. We opted for the matcha one and the mango pomelo cream cheese. The mochi texture is amazing, however I think the cream cheese filling that is in every single mochi is what threw me off. It was salty and tasted like mouth fulls of cream cheese - which wasn't my favourite flavour mixture. I really wanted to love this but the cream cheese filling was too salty for my liking. The four star is for the amazing mochi itself and all the other ingredients inside.

The mochi here is very addicting. I came back three days in a row just to get it again. The price is high for what it is, I think more people would get it more often if it was a little lower since when I tell my friends it's a 16-18$ mochi they're less willing to try it, but they do give big portions with a lot of filling.

The shop is small usually with a line on the weekends. The staff did a good job in rushing orders out. The price starts at about $13. These are massive and best to share with someone. You'll likely get more than half a mango in it if you order one of the mango filled items. Fun texture. Lots of fruit and variety of outer coating. We enjoyed the egg roll crumbs.

Loved it more than I expected. We got the durian mango and it was perfect. It was chewy gooey outside and cold and sweet inside, a perfect combo for dessert. The mochi was light and not sweet. It was filling but does not make you too full that you have to skip a meal. Perfect after meal or afternoon snack. I will be back for sure. They're open at 2pm so if you can come right when they're open, there will be a short wait, otherwise, it will be 45'-1hr.

found this place on instagram. don't let the $13 price turn you away. these are some massive mochis. i came here for a snack but wouldn't had space for dinner if i ate the entire mochi. service was a bit slow considering they are a two-man shop. but hey, they are making it on the spot. i do wish there was more standing area inside as it was raining. I'd recommend getting something fruity and juicy because mine was a bit dry and too starchy

I am not kidding when I say this was one of my top 3 meals in Toronto. I know this is a shaved ice…read more/ specifically a bingsu place and I say as a big shaved ice fan that this is probably the best bingsu I have had outside of my Korea. Given that I have not been to Korea in approximately a decade (excluding the airport), it may be the best bingsu I can remember ever having. We got to try the matcha affogato, persimmon bingsu, and the injeolmi bingsu. I learned what an affogato was for the first time (they pour espresso into ice cream, so this was matcha poured into matcha ice cream) and that was yum but not what I would come back for. It also becomes soup lol. The stars of the show are the bingsu. In my many years eating shaved ice in various places, I have never had a persimmon bingsu and I am so glad that I got to try it. The persimmon flavor was light but delicious. Of the three other people here, this was their favorite. I loved this one but my favorite was the injeolmi - a lot of it is more milky because the injeolmi powder is at the top but I loved that. The texture of this bingsu was excellent - we all marveled at it. The cornflakes throughout were a stroke of genius. I love this place and lol I am not kidding, this place might be the reason I plan my next trip to Toronto. I am half kidding I guess but it would very much be a factor. Run, don't walk to this place.

Holy heck this dessert spot by Wellington Station was amazing…read more Highly recommend the dessert wheel ("Fondue for 2-3" $29.99). We chose dark chocolate, milk chocolate, and Nutella. For items: we chose strawberry, banana, halal marshmallow, waffle bites, brownie bites, and Oreo with a round of cappuccino's ($5.50 each). The interior is nicely decorated with a cute angel photo op in the back, and window bar seats and couches to choose from. Great spot for 2-4 people. The only criticism I could have was it took a while to get our order. So, it's not one of those places you can be dipping into expecting to be done in 20mins! We stayed for nearly 3 hours and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly.

Delicious desserts, waffles ice cream, smoothies, and more. We ordered: Medium Mango Smoothie - $7.95 Simple Pleasures Waffle - $15.50 The waffle was light and fluffy and the toppings of fruit and chocolate were a great combination. I requested to be lighter on the chocolate but there was still a LOT of chocolate on our waffle. The mango smoothie was refreshing and sweet. I started going to Holy Choco when they first opened and their service was really good from some of the owner. Super attentive and caring staff. Unfortunately, it's since gone downhill since they've hired new staff and we had a number of small problems when visiting this time (dirty tables, dirty cutlery, requested if our food could be put in to go containers because they didn't want to do dishes, unfriendly, etc.) I hope they improve upon these staffing issues soon. Their seating area is good for friends and groups to loiter. Also, if you plan on bringing a laptop, they have MANY OUTLETS!!
