    Almond water...
    Tiffany M.

I was lied to- as far as I can tell. I ordered online- almond paste with sweet ball, then black sesame paste with sweet ball. When I got there, I noticed in the container that the "almond paste" was very watery. The lady said for this version with the sweet ball, it is supposed to be watery. If it's true, then the black sesame one that we ordered should have been watery as well - it wasn't. The black sesame one was the perfect, expected paste. Not happy. We purposely drove further to support this cafe. They could have just said they didn't have any and I could have easily ordered something else. I'm very disappointed. If I am incorrect about the texture, I will retract this review. But from years of having this almond paste dessert, I have never had it with this watery texture. I kept the two stars because the black seasame one was great.

Came to pick up some Chinese dessert on the eve of Chinese New Year. Traditionally people have glutinous rice balls for good luck. Being too lazy to get some at T&T to cook up, decided to give Full House a try. Got the black sesame/almond mix with glutinous black sesame rice balls along with their famous durian and mango pancakes. Wife really enjoyed the black sesame and almond mix. It's not very sweet but very flavourful. I actually prefer it being a little watered down rather than the typical black sesame thick textual due to the addition of the almond milk. The glutinous balls were super soft and the whole dessert was perfect on a chilly night. Next are the durian and mango pancakes. I don't recall the last time I had durian and never in a pancake form. On a smell test, you can definitely smell the durian, but it actually has a subtle sweet taste. So don't be scared even if you are not a big durian fan. The cream and the pancake skin is not very sweet at all and the entire pillow of goodness goes very well together. Personally I prefer the mango one as I'm more of a mango fan in general. The mango they used is pretty sweet and overall makes a very tasty little treat. The people at the store were courteous and friendly. They are doing their hardest to survive this pandemic and like every small business, has its struggles. So if you are looking for a Chinese dessert or something's unique and fruity, give them a try. I'm sure it will help them survive what could still be a hard road ahead.

Reason for Visit: Needed to bring dessert to a dinner party so decided to check out what is the hype with this highly rated dessert take out restaurant. Menu: So first thing to mention is this is a PURE take out restaurant. When I arrived, there was quite a line. TBH, this was pretty much the only place with a line in the entire plaza so that was a good sign. The menu had a lot of traditional usual Chinese dessert items but what they are known for is their sago. So it was a no brainer to try their popular mango full house sago, but then I noticed they also serve durian sago which is a pretty rare menu item for these Chinese dessert restaurants. To my surprise when I went home, the durian sago was legit. So legit that the entire house smelled like durian, they were very generous with fresh durian and if you are a durian lover, this is definitely worth your value. It was quite tasty but be warned, this is the real stuff. Mango full house sago- very well done with lots of chopped fresh mango. What can I say, tasted like what I would expect it to taste. The prices are a bit pricier than some places going for ~$8 / dessert for a take out restaurant, but they really do make everything fresh and put effort into their business. Service: The cashier was very friendly and organized. This is an efficient well ran take out restaurant. Atmosphere: Literally just a take out restaurant so don't expect to find a place to sit down and eat. Overall: Despite higher prices, I would come back again to try their other options simply cause of high quality and the staff's passion in running their small business. Note: their new rewards app (need a phone for this) gives you a reward every 8 order. And also, a free 50% coupon for your 2nd dessert if you sign up.

Haven't been here for ages. I love their pancakes. Decided to get some desserts after my dinner. Got the Full House Sago and Durian Pancake. They use to have seating, but now it's just strictly takeout only. I've also noticed they updated their logo and even have a points system app. As well as app coupons. As usual their desserts are yummy! Full House Sago (Mango Puree, Pomelo Flesh, Sago Pearls and Mango Flesh). Just the right sweetness and so refreshing on a hot day. Durian Pancakes are Fluffy and A Strong Smooth Durian Filling!

I got the mango pancakes and the Full House Sago. These mango pancakes were so soft and fluffy like a pillow! The pancake wrap was also super thin. Inside, the pancakes are filled with whipped cream and a lot of real mango chunks. I loved that the Full House Sago, which is basically a mango pomelo sago, has huge chunks of real mangoes as well! These are a must-try for mango lovers! Or if you're into durian, they have a whole line of durian desserts too! Also, if you sign up for their rewards app on Storellett, you can get a coupon for a FREE Full House Sago when you buy a pancake! This location inside Richlane Mall and their Markham location in Langham Square are both only for take-out. There is no seating area, it is only a grab & go store.

Meh. I ordered the durian pancake and the sesame soup. The durian pancake was a little over 10 dollar. I was expecting something big, but it came with two small piece. It's mostly filled with whip cream with a little tiny piece of durian. The sesame soup was very starchy and it didn't taste like real sesame. This would not be on my go back list. This place only does take out. If you want to sit down and chill for a bit don't come here.

Mango pancake: So when asked what was popular at Full House Dessert, they recommended this Mango Pancakes which was getting all the rave lately, so obviously we had to try it. Made with fresh mango, light fresh cream, and the light pancake layer. Literally three main ingredients to make this little bundle of joy To be honest I'm not a mango fan, but this I can have everyday! The cream was super light that it's almost tasteless. The pancake layer was so thin, I thought I was going to break these pillows before taking a picture! You could barely feel it in your mouth. The mango was definitely fresh and sweet. It was ALL MANGO If you love mango.... or even just like it, this is a MUST try. Full house sago: Okay hands down love this sago dessert. It's creamy, but not heavy like heavy milk. And it has the perfect level of sweetness you can definitely tell that the mango is fresh and there were a ton of mango pieces! They surely didn't skim out on those mangoes! they used coconut milk in the dessert. Obviously small sagos were throughout. What threw me off was the pomelo! Wasn't expecting that hint of tanginess as you burst each pomelo in your mouth! It was surprising but definitely not in a bad way! 100% would recommend this to everyone. Wether you like mango or not, this is a must try. Durian pancake: If you love durian.... or even if you are gutsy enough to try the king of fruit, then this is for you! The Duran taste isn't overwhelming but it's also not lacking! It's just right that sweet sweet sweet savoury taste of creamy durian surely brings mama lee back to her days growing up in Malaysia and Singapore The cream was super light that it's almost tasteless. The pancake layer was so thin, I thought I was going to break these pillows before taking a picture! A must try for those who are daring and for those who are already a king of fruit fan!

I think they have the best Full House Sago in Toronto! It is the classic mango dessert with pieces of grapefruit. This one is comparable to those in Hong Kong, as most other places here are really not up to par when it comes to this classic favourite. The mango base is smooth and the perfect balance of sweet and tart. The mango and grapefruit are of good quality. I am not a huge durian fan but I heard their durian desserts are also impressive. My only complaint is that the prices are very high for all their menu items. There is also no seating now so it is take-out only.

It is so hard for me to get desserts at Full House Desserts. I dropped by too early that they are not open! I dropped by and they suppose to be open but they are not open! Finally I drop by they are half open! It is a Saturday night at 9:30 pm. All the tables and chairs were stacked together. No one in the front cash. Half of the metal railing was pulled down. Oh they said they almost sold out of everything and they are closing soon! hmmm.. Just take out and with limited choices. I am a huge FAN of durian. Yes I know it is smelly to some one i.e. my boyfriend.. but I just love the smell. I have to admit that my dog loves that smell too! When I start eating my Sago with Durian and Mango ($6.50), my dog was really looking at me with hungry eyes and want to have a share of that! Yes it is delicious, and the durian meat inside is huge meatball sized. (BTW, durian being the King of Calories in fruits are all forgotten!) The nice lady said I should always call before I drop by because they close/open whenever they like or when they sold out!.. That is so so encouraging!

    CUUTEE MANGO POUCH (MANGO PANCAKE)
    Kristy C.

New favourite dessert! Their mango pancake (or mango pouch as I like to call it) is delish, a soft crepe packed to the brim with mango and cream~!! Just look at the plumpness of this cute cute cute mango pouch!! This is the epitome of an adorable dessert! n.n Only $10.15 (tax included) for an order that comes with 2 pieces~! Highly recommended!!! n.n

I'm super thankful that they are here to continue their legacy from Hong Kong!!!! Their Full House Sago brought back so many childhood memories! I started going to their dessert shop in Saikung when it first opened in the mid 90s. I don't live in Toronto, but will definitely come back and visit!!! Will get the Full House Sago with tofu tomorrow before I leave town!

Durian Pancake - 4/5 A bit Pricey, the pancakes are smaller than I thought. The Durian isn't too overpowering so that can be both a good and bad thing depending on how much you like durian. There's a lot of cream on the inside which tastes good but masks the durian flavour a bit. Overall still a tasty treat for durian lovers.

On the left mango and on the right durian.

I am not a fan or durian and yet looking at these photos I have to figure there's gotta be something about these pancakes. The location is in a small plaza than sometimes or a lot of the times seems mostly abandoned, but believe me folks there is life here. The service is usually very quick and the pancakes themselves can be pricey. I believe is was like 10.99 for the two durian ones (almost 5.50 a piece) and the mango was 8.99 or something of that sort. The outside, or the pancake skins in the most interesting thing I suppose. It's delicate enough that it doesn't take much to tear into or break the skin of it. The cream is subpar. Partner corner: My partner describes it as tasting like canned whip cream. The durian is pungent and custardy. If you like it, it's probably a bonus in flavour. For me, I can't seems to enjoy it that way. I didn't mind it but I probably wouldn't seek these out again. The mango ones were better in flavour but I felt like perhaps worse in construction. I get the idea of slicing them into their chunks. Overall the cream again may have detracted from the overall taste. Overall not bad but I'm not sure these are worth the price. But you don't have to wait long.

When I drove here the first time, I used Waze and didn't arrive successfully. Whether using a driving app, such as Google Maps or Waze, it led me to the wrong building. Both referenced building A. The address has this store being a part of building D. It's basically the building across from A, but the east side. In other words, you are driving along the third-last aisle that's parallel to Leslie. Waze has corrected the issue. Google Maps hasn't. Use Waze to get here. There were plenty of parking spots in front of the store. It was shaded there. I backed into a spot both times and walked in. I got a different female staffers on both visits. They were both helpful and warm. I have had the matcha KitKat mochi, which had bits of KitKat. Each mochi is individually enclosed in a box. It feels like opening a jewellery box. The mochi is delicate and a decent size. I am not a huge whipped cream person. However, the KitKat was broken up into two pieces and surrounded by the whipped cream. The filling was amazing! It was light and yummy. The mochi had matcha powder on top. It had a subtle matcha taste. The mochi was delicate, but still strong enough to hold in the filling. It was so soft and almost malleable. It was the best mochi that I have had in eons! This visit, I got a six-pack of these mochi flavours: - Mango - Pineapple coconut - Lychee - Golden kiwi - Nutella banana - Strawberry banana If you get six or more mochi, you save a bit. If you pay with cash, the tax is waived off. The mango mochi was awesome! It had diced mango mixed in with the whipped cream. It was dreamy. I got to sample a strawberry marshmallow bar during my first visit. It's not really a bar. It's more of a square. I loved the strawberry flavour. It was slightly sweet. The marshmallow is an experience. It's not squishy like a typical marshmallow. It's crispy on the outside, but softish and moist inside. It's pretty cool. It's not quite dehydrated, but it's halfway there. I got the honeydew marshmallow bars in a little bag last time. They had a natural sweetness to it thanks to the honeydew. It was so good. This time, I got a jar of strawberry marshmallow bars. They still taste as yummy as the first time I had one. Delicious! I ended up getting a couple of cake rolls during my first visit. Both flavours, the taro lychee and ube coconut, were still available this return visit. I rattled off everything that I had bought the last time that the nice woman during my most recent visit gave me a chocolate Oreo cake on the house. Wow! I wasn't expecting that kind gesture at all. The chocolate Oreo cake is decadent. There's chocolate pudding in the middle that is divine! I loved the other two flavours, but the chocolate Oreo is now my new favourite flavour. This place accepts credit and debit cards as payment methods. I used a credit card both times. You can tip if you'd like. All desserts are slightly sweet, with the mochi being a touch sweeter than the cake rolls. If you are like me who doesn't like overly sugary items, the desserts at this store are for you. This place is such a gem. I originally had one mochi. It was not enough! I wanted more and returned to indulge some more. If you love mochi and unique desserts, like marshmallow bars, come here. It's basically a gourmet doughnut holes shop, with plenty of fancy coffees and cold beverages to accompany. I wanna say, think Tim's crossed with Starbucks, with the emphasis on the Puffs. The puffs are made to order, with so many flavours to choose from. You can purchase half dozen, dozen, and up, and mix the flavours for each half dozen. We bought a combo box of Oreo and Nutella. You can watch the staff preparing the dough in the kitchen, and while they add your toppings at the counter. Idk if they somehow learned about it being a birthday visit, or this is usual, but we got a baker's dozen. I'll take that puff instead of a cherry on top for sure, because they were delicious. They are on the sweet side. Our drinks were also on the sweet side but delicious. The coffee is freshly ground on order and everything tasted fresh. We both opted for coffee based cold drinks but they have slushees, fruity and I think some tea options. The coffee was nice and strong without tasting bitter. The seating was a little odd, cute little stools in line with the honeycomb decor as opposed to chairs. The space felt really open, like your conversation can be heard all around. It was clean and very spacious. The staff on our visit were great. I would definitely return if it were closer to me, and I will totally check out other locations.

They're tucked in the back of the venue and lights are always off, so it's kinda awkward to walk into a hidden corner full of people. The renovation kinda matches Kaleido's industrial vibe. Seats are limited but you could sit near the "stage". They do have some special drinks like the apple crumble latte and koji latte. We got the iced ovaltine latte, hot koji latte and hot roasted latte. The koji latte (espresso, brown sugar, fermented rice and milk) came in the same maybe 8 oz glass as the ovaltine? For $7.5, I would have expected a bit more and not in a glass especially for a hot drink. The fermented rice made the drink taste like a hot chocolate though. The roasted oolong latte and ovaltine were just ok, nothing spectacular. If you're a cafe hopper, it's worth checking out, but not an everyday coffee place.

The atmosphere is cozy, great for groups or being solo sitting at the coffee bar to interact with the barista. Coffee Now located at Kaleido event space which is well decorated with great nice, very instagramable. My favourite is the pour over coffee and the beans selection is great. There are different beans rotation regularly. The barista is well trained to make a tasty cup of pour over coffee. The experience was excellent, you are able to smell the beans after grind. I also enjoy their flat white, dirty. My kid is tea lover and love their oolong or matcha latte. Coffee Now also pairs up with local patisserie shop to bring very delicious desserts to pair with their coffee. My favourite are the Purin (Japanese pudding) and cheesecake.
