Beer was not that great tasting to me or my girlfriend. We tried two IPAs (one being a Rye) and a Pale Ale, but none of them were very good. They were all more malty than hoppy and were not very bitter. They actually all tasted a little similar, despite being 3 different types of beer. Maybe we just get spoiled with so many good breweries here in CO that thrive off of competition and collaboration and in UT the people are just happy to have craft beer, even if it's not that great tasting. Since it's Utah, we had to pay .60 + tax for each 2 oz sample taster and none of the beer is over 4% abv. Even the cans sold to-go! Every other brewery in every other state we travel to will let you taste a sample of their beer because they are proud of what they make and want you to enjoy a pint of something you enjoy the taste of. In Utah they just want your $$, especially if you're buying anything alcohol related. I think this place is a little overpriced and touristy since they are the only brewery within hours. They have a gift shop when you first walk in that adds to the touristy feel instead of the local feel of a real brewery. They sell stickers with their logo on it for $5 when most craft breweries give away their stickers or sell them for a small profit margin knowing they will get advertising. Despite the beer not tasting that great to us and the casual restaurant chain feel instead of an actual craft brewery atmosphere, we did notice that all the employees we encountered were friendly. If your looking for some local craft beer and good food then look no further. We enjoy finding local craft breweries and even better they serve food. We both had burgers, one with onion rings and the other with coleslaw. Everything was very good. We sat in the bar area to avoid the family room side which had many families and talkative kids (we are past that stage and enjoy a more adult atmosphere). The home-made gelato is divine but wish you could order from your table. Instead you have to go wait in line by the crowded doorway next to the hostess stand (really not convenient during Covid). The plus side, you can show your dinner receipt and receive a discount and the waitress said we could bring it back to our table but honestly it seemed selfish to hold our table. Get there early, this place is stupid busy. We were told it was a 35 min wait at 530pm on a Thursday. We ended up finding a table in the bar which is instant seating. Beers were good, food was good. I had the burger and fish tacos. Service was great for how busy they were. read more

A disappointment. The food was good but the beer was not. I had an amber ale and found it weak and watery, due to the crazy Utah liquor laws that keep beer at about 4% alcohol. I've been here several times before, always very good, this evening was exceptional, ordered salmon over penne Alfredo with artichokes (I asked that they leave off the advertised onions and they did) it was delicious, salmon perfectly done, everything was just perfect, one of the best meals I've had this year, and the beer and service were also very good. We came here because it was recommended to us by a local and I really wish we would have went somewhere else... The first night we tried to go there was a 40 minute wait so we figured we'd try again the next day but closer to 5pm. We got there shortly before 5pm on a Monday and were quickly seated. We ordered chips and salsa as an appetizer, the salsa was nice and spicy, which was great but that's where it ended. My husband ordered the Dead Horse Amber Ale which he said was "ok", not something he would go out of his way to order. For supper I got the Philly cheesesteak which came with a side of their beer cheese. My husband ordered the Chipotle chicken wrap. He said his wrap was bland and tried to use some of the beer cheese to make it more flavorful. My cheesesteak was big and difficult to eat without much flavor to it. Unfortunately, I thought the beer cheese would be the saving grace of the meal but it was honestly the worst beer cheese I've ever had. It was cold, watery, and just straight bland. I would recommend not going out of your way to try it, so not worth it. Overall the place was cheap and the food was just "ok". Beer is pretty good...I wouldn't recommend ordering food unless its french fries, only because they are almost impossible to mess up. The wait staff seems absolutely miserable. I dont think I saw any one of them actually present a genuine smile. We ordered a couple brewery favorites; fish tacos and a medium burger that came out well done with onion rings rather than our requested french fries. The tacos were atrocious! I dont even know where to begin in regard to those, but I highly recommend you stay away from these "brewery favorites"! Stopped in for a beer & appetizer after hiking. Food was standard, beer was cold, but place was super busy. I'm sure that's normal for a tourist area. Bartenders were moving quickly but we were sitting in an area that had weird service because we weren't at a table, but also not at bar, so we had to walk up and order ourselves. read more

I had their so called Famous Root Beer and it was way below any other root beer out there. Cajun Burger was just not good and onion rings, beer battered, not bad. We went to this place after a long day of hiking in Moab. The service was prompt and pleasant. We got hefeweizen, buffalo wings, and chips and salsa. The salsa had a great restaurant made flavor to it and we gobbled it up. The wings were appropriately crispy with just a little bit of zing. If you're looking for more kick they offer a spicier sauce. This place seemed like a mix of tourists and locals but felt very comfortable. It was a bit strange that beer out of the taps was limited for 4% alcohol by volume while cans could be higher. If I hadn't hiked all day perhaps I would have gone with something stronger but the beers were perfect, especially with an early morning wake-up for rafting the next day. read more

We walked into this place, having looked on yelp beforehand for restaurants open after 9 pm. Since the stated hours for the "Moab Brewery" say they are open until 11 pm, we walked into the restaurant around 10 pm, which was bustling with activity. To our surprise, we were told that the restaurant closed at 9 pm! When we objected, saying that the stated hours list the restaurant as being open until 11 pm, we were insulted and rudely told told to leave. Customer service = less than zero! read more

Good beer made on site. This is a volume place. It ain't high dining. We had good burgers and kids meals. Great on the beer delivery as they have dedicated servers who do nothing but get out the beers to customers. Great idea. The food is average to slightly above average pub grub. The food was below average... don't order the fish tacos!! It is not the normal ones with cabbage slaw and creamy dressing...they make theirs with hard taco shell, no sauce with dry fish and canned olives on top...yuck yuck yuck!! The beers were good if that's the reason why you are going but go somewhere else for food! The table next to us left their WHOLE plate full!! The place is large and sprawling and I think some of the seating areas are better than others-- Huge place. The parking lot is full! The beer, on the other hand, is really not that great.
