I visited Mo Cha Teahouse on a Friday afternoon because i was craving something sweet. Well let me just say, i was pleasantly surprised. The place was easy to find, and very clean. When i went in, i was kindly greeted by the employees behind the counter. Since it was my first time here, I wasn't really sure what to order. Thankfully, both employees were extremely helpful and walked me through each section of the menu. They were knowledgeable as well as polite! I decided to order a smore and more brick toast and it... was... INCREDIBLE! Not only was the presentation gorgeous, but the ingredients were all fresh and delicious. This was by far my favorite dessert i have ever had in my life. As for the ambiance, I loved the christmas decorations, so cozy and festive! The water station was a nice touch. After my dessert, i decided i needed a warm drink for my walk home. Everything on the seasonal special menu looked amazing, but i wanted to try the Brownie Batter Hot cocoa. It was phenomenal! This review is for the Farmington location. I assumed Honey Spicy Fried Tofu would be sweet and spicy. Not here, it was dry tofu with what tasted like tons of paprika and cayenne pepper dumped over it. Just tasted flat, very bitter and spicy. Honestly it was inedible. And ironic, because I ordered the teriyaki tofu for my kids, and it was so sweet that they wouldn't eat it. I tried it, and it was also flat, it was like it was soaked in sugar with no other flavor, so gross. I got a Thai tea with 25% sugar, and it just tasted water down. We threw the food away. It's weird because we went to the Progress Ridge location last week and I got the plain fried tofu and it was delicious. I think I'll stick with T4 from now on read more

A cute place to get milk teas and brick toast. I've had my fair share of this back home in tx, but this one kinda looks thrown together with a lot of sugary items and the price point Is fairly expensive so unless you like a high sugar snack or an experience I believe it's the only boba place that has brick toast. My cousins and I got a few drinks, but the two that stood out the most was the Avocado smoothie and the Strawberry milk tea. The avocado smoothie was nice and thick as opposed to icy like some other places. You can tell that they used fresh avocados, and it wasn't too sweet. The strawberry here has got to be the best fruit flavored milk tea I've ever had. Even better than most milk tea places in California. When we first got the drink, it was hard to distinguish which one was the strawberry milk tea because it's color was not pink, like many other places. We soon found out this was because they used actual strawberry purée to flavor the tea rather than syrup, like most places. The boba was not the best but it wasn't bad by any means. Would definitely some back again when I get the chance. Also would like to try one of the many brick toasts. read more

I ordered a ice cream toast cube, and I waited for more than 20mins without anyone telling me what's going on, (after my order there is no one around at the front desk) There are at least 4 staff members I saw and they all talking in the back kitchen. Eventually there is one girl came out and telling me their toaster is broken and they have to use a smaller one that's why it takes so long. but before I had no idea. I have gotten delivery from here more times than I care to admit, but I really like their jasmine milk tea! I feel like I don't see jasmine in many of the other boba shops. (Sept 8, 2021) Found this place by searching for desserts in Beaverton. Place is beautiful, huge high ceiling entry, with a color block art accent wall, and a colorful stairway to a 2nd level that has comfy chair & couch seating with views out the huge windows. Looking at some of the old menu pictures it's obvious they had to change up their menu for the Covid state we've been in. But it looks like they kept some of the original essentials, as well as adding the necessity of savory items, which are pretty good! I had the honey popcorn chicken with (2 free sides) rice and kale salad. The kale salad was perfect to go along with the chicken which didn't taste too sweet like other honey chicken dishes I've had. It was more like sweet and tangy, but not really a sweet and sour. The salad had a great amount of slavery and acidity that went perfect with a bite of chicken. Also got the salad rolls. I think the salad rolls were missing rice noodles and they were a little loosely wrapped, but they still would suffice and they had a unique tasty Popcorn Chicken peanut dipping sauce. My daughter had original milk tea with tapioca boba, and spring rolls which she ate right up. Sadly the savory food we ate didn't leave any room for dessert but I really look forward to going back to try their desserts! read more

Really cute little corner tea house for us Asian drink lovers. Their menu is quite extensive and have now also included savory rice meals. I ordered myself a Red Bean Milk Tea with Boba. Tasted like a milky Vietnamese che drink with perfectly cooked boba. My friend whom I met up with ordered a Jasmine Milk Tea and she definitely enjoyed it. Pricing is standard. Not too high and also not butt cheap like Southern California. They get extra bonus points from me for having one of the best playlists ever; late 90's to early 2000's pop jams! Parking is minimal however park behind after hours (bank) and you should be good. Next time I'll definitely have to try their food menu: either shaved snow or their toast! read more

Open on Labor Day in the afternoon, the place was quite clean with a large menu. The menu for both drinks, dessert, and food seems extensive. It took me a while to decide what I wanted, I got the passionfruit green tea with lychee. The orders were called out by item and seemed to come out in a timely manner but I could see how it would be confusing if someone orders the same thing as it got busier and busier. My drink at first was bitter but as I mixed the lychee, it got sweeter. I wish there was more ice as it wasn't very cold, olnot even a full scoop of ice. The thing I did enjoy was the drink was fairly large and one size as prices seem to be comparable to other boba places. The bathroom was clean and well stocked too. read more

Not sure if I got a bad batch of tea or if this is how the flavors usually taste but sadly I don't think this will be a go-to place. The Thai tea & jasmine milk tea drinks were very watered down. The jasmine milk tea did not have any flavor of jasmine at all; it tasted like sweetened milk and water. The parking lot attached to this place is limited and a bit tight (5 parking spaces with 1 being handicap parking) so be aware and just do street parking. Employees were polite and the space is clean and cozy so maybe I may come back to give this place another chance and try out the other items on their menu like the popcorn chicken or brick toast. read more

I am a die hard boba fan, and I think this place is very solid. It's probably one of the better places I know of in the Portland-metro area. I usually don't like milk tea that is overly sweet, so I usually order my boba with no sugar or 30% sugar and it tastes pretty delicious. Their classic milk teas are nice enough that I come back very regularly, and the texture of their boba is spot on. Their snacks are slightly oily but a comforting type of yummy. This place is good if you need some consistent, go-to boba. read more

Mo Cha! Yaaas! I really enjoy their Rose tea hot and cold in bubble tea form. However, it's WAY too sweet. I mean I like sweet but it's just too sweet. I asked for it half sweet and it was still too sweet but perfect for me. Their other drinks are good too. I've only had their bubble tea until recently, I tried a mini brick toast! Woah, I've been wanting to try brick toast since the fad but haven't really found the right timing. Whoever thought of this genius idea, it was so tasty! I mean I love bread and add ice cream, mochi jelly, fresh fruit and ugg, the gooeyness is just wonderful! I feel like I'm gaining 500 calories just thinking about it .. we ordered the "berry cute" and it definitely was "berry" cute! Too bad we were stuffed with dinner prior to but I want to try the matcha one next time. Oh one thing I forgot to complain about.. the stools/chairs are just a mess. Mocha special honey toast was very yummy! The toast was thick. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. The presentation was excellent. It's got a scoop of vanilla ice cream, mochi, whip cream, pecans, macaroon, and a chocolate straw cookie. Definitely something that's best shared. My daughter is starting 4th grade, and we went to Mo Cha Tea House earlier this evening around 6pm to have a celebratory dessert with some close friends. We live only a few blocks away from the location. The place was very nice, with whitewashed wood flooring and accents and great window seating. The overall ambiance was both welcoming and thoughtful. We ordered the brick toast dessert and shared it among us. It was a generous size, and enjoyable. Nothing remarkable or unusual about it - basically a cross between a strawberry shortcake and an ice cream sundae. We asked for some water (it was 95F outside) and were pointed to styrofoam cups and a pitcher of ice water. The ice was a nice touch, but the tiny and environmentally-unfriendly styrofoam cups were rather appalling. It's hard to believe in this day and age - and especially in our eco-friendly Pacific NW - that styrofoam be used. But I was thirsty, and I bit the bullet and poured four ice waters in dainty styrofoam cups. Then we walked over to the table, and I admired the woodwork. When I put my finger on what I thought was a knot hole, it turned out to be a puddle of dried chocolate syrup that was left uncleaned. I then noticed the table itself was dirty, along with the four tall chairs, and asked the young lady behind the counter for something to clean up the mess. She obliged and indicated she will clean it up, which she did. Without any acknowledgment nor apologies. This was somewhat stunning to me. The parking lot was also a bit of a cluster. Why are there diagonal spaces when there are two points of exit/entry? Make them straight-aligned spaces so that vehicles pulling in or exiting from either side of the small parking lot don't have to contort their vehicles to fit into the parking spaces. As we were sitting there enjoying our dessert, I noticed several folks trying to park there with quite a bit of struggle. It probably didn't help that the vehicles were medium to large SUVs. It was like watching a reality show on people parking big vehicles in ill-conceived parking spaces. The entire experience was underwhelming. The staff was polite, but rather oblivious to their obligation of cleaning tables after customers leave. During our stay I noticed two other tables that were not cleaned up after the respective patrons left. It's a small venue of less than a dozen small tables, and there is really no excuse not to be on top of such obvious matters. This was our first time there, and I plan on stopping by again to see if my previous visit was a gross aberration or the norm at Mo Cha Tea House. Our visit was underwhelming, to say the least. 2nd location just as good as the 1st! I come here pretty regularly for their Hot Boba Milk Tea and I just love their drinks. Since we only come here for boba tea and their fried food items, that is the only thing I can confidently say that they are amazing. I like that you can add whatever toppings to your milk tea and you can dictate how much sugar there are in your tea. Some other places won't even let you do that. I would recommend this to many of my friends living in Beaverton and Hillsboro and I am just happy that I don't have to drive all the way to Progress Ridge any more when I get a hot boba tea craving. read more

I used to love coming here! I won't be coming anymore after today. I had a problem where I sometimes forget bringing my stamp cards, so I have a lot of half filled stamp cards. Today I remembered to bring them in to combine. However, they refused to combine them (cards with 7, 3, 1 and 5 stamps), and would not even combine my stamp card with 3 and 1 stamps. It was pretty irritating because I used to come here pretty often. With my combined stamp cards, I was supposed to have a full one and get a free drink. Didn't get one because of the no combining rule. Wouldn't even have gotten a free drink because it covers max $4 and all of their drinks with boba are over $4 so I was ready to pay the extra few dollars. Still ordered a drink anyways. Was here already, why not, the tea and boba was good in the past. Took 10 minutes to come out even though there were only a two people in front of me. A group that came after me even got their drinks before me. Tried the drink, I ordered an original milk tea. There was barely any tea flavor and the boba was hard. I came here around 8 o'clock on a Saturday and it wasn't that busy. There were only 2 tables that were full. The cashier stopped what they were doing immediately to take our order. I ordered the green tea brick toast and my boyfriend got the taro snow. The total was around 20 dollars for both of the things. The proportions were really big for the price we paid. The green tea brick toast had the toast, green tea ice cream, strawberries, green tea pocky, whipped cream, condensed milk and mochi. The overall product had just the right amount of sweetness and tastiness . The taro snow was unique because it was like ice cream but in a different form.
