Raspberry cloud slush and Peach Oolong Mist
    Sarah M.

Love that you can actually taste the tea! Good ambiance, lots of seating. Seems like the type of place you can linger and hangout. For snacks got the popcorn chicken and potato tornado, both were cooked well and tastey. Drinks, got the raspberry cloud slushie (75% sweet) and peach oolong mist (50% sweet). Definitely recommend ordering less sweet unless you want a sugar bomb. I still prefer T4 across the street for pure tea taste, but Bamboo Boba will certainly be in the rotation, especially with their snack menu. Only downside is that it can take a while to order. Minimally staffed, so just be ready to wait bit if they are catching up on multiple orders.

This place was on my summer to-try bucket list and we never quite made it in. Today we happened to be driving by and it was sunny, so we stopped in. It's a cute little shop in the Progress Ridge plaza. The ladies working were super friendly. They had a giant printed menu right in front of the register, so it was very easy to see everything and the descriptions, which I appreciated. We went with the Thai Royal Cloud, which stated that you couldn't adjust the sweetness. It was a little more bitter and less sweet than I would have liked, but got better as it mixed with the cream. I'm not a boba person, but my daughter and husband liked the boba a lot and felt like it did add some sweetness to the drink. My daughter got the strawberry cloud slushie with peach popping boba. I do appreciate that they offer one free jelly topping option, while we didn't partake, it's a nice gesture. We all really enjoyed this drink! The salted foam was so good with the strawberry and again the family liked the boba. I really appreciated the free topping offer and all of the foams! While it's didn't beat our favorite boba shop, I would definitely not hesitate to stop in again if we were in the area.

The good and the bad - Bamboo Boba. Bamboo Boba has great prices for drinks that normally cost a lot more. I was impressed with the freshness of their chicken. We got a few drinks to try as we wanted the full experience. The chicken itself was standard - hot and fresh, but would have liked a sauce to go along with it. We also got the Matcha Latte and their #1 special. I thought both drinks were just okay. The matcha latte was better, but the one with the whipped cream on top wasn't that spectacular in my opinion. I came into it expecting Molly Tea as that was what they were trying to dupe, but definitely missed the mark. Most likely wouldn't come back, but good to try once if you're in the area and like boba.

We came here recently for Boba and tried a few other items. Inside is adorable and charming. The drinks were delicious and the tornado potato was excellent. We also had the strawberry and grape tanghulu and were amazed at how good it was. We will be back!

I'm gonna give Yelp a 1-star review for not letting me check-in from home. My wife and I came by here after dinner a mile away. My cell reception is non-existent in this area. Anyway, I didn't want to leave a full review today, but since I can't simply check-in.... This place looks so much different than our first visit. It's been so long I hadn't realized we'd been here before until we walked in. I think the place was still in the process of a remodel, but they're all done by now. We were welcomed by the friendliest smile and offered a sample of their Peach Oolong Mist milk tea. It was really good so my wife ordered one. I ordered a ceylon milk tea and both were plenty sweet at 75%. It was nice and cool inside too. Today is the hottest day of this year so far. It's supposed to be hotter tomorrow... maybe we'll come by again.

the tea here is always strong and powerful! I love the jasmine and they always make it perfectly sweet. I get 50% sweet and it's always perfect. the boba is also chewy and cooked nicely. I also love the popcorn chicken. it always comes out piping hot and is seasoned deliciously! I would love to come here to study more often but the workers keep the front door open so it gets too cold :')

surprisingly really good drinks! its not a lot but the quality of the tea and flavor is strong. for the fruity tea drinks, i recommend at least getting less sweet, i personally get half sweet an it would still be plenty sweet. staff are super welcoming and would offer samples of the day! theres indoor seating available and the atmosphere is bright and refreshing with the giant window wall, especially in the summer when they open up the windows!

Came here for the soft opening and there wasn't a lot of people there, but there was only one worker so it was a little bit of a weight but that's to be expected as they're just opening and also the service was very friendly. I got the black tea with snow cap and the classic milk tea with Boba. The drinks are on the smaller side, but the pricing is also fair and reflects that. Overall, the drinks were really good and the tea had a really strong tea flavor, which I liked a lot. The black tea flavor came through and didn't feel water down or anything like that when you mix the snow cap and the tea together it gives it a hint of sweetness, which is really good.

Went to check out Bamboo Boba during their soft opening and was pleasantly surprised! We ordered two drinks from the snow cap series (peach oolong and signature black tea) and both had strong tea flavors. Pricing was also fair and toppings were free!! (We arrived near close and there was no more boba, so can't say much about it.) Interior and ambiance is the same as MoCha, so we aren't quite sure if this is a rebrand situation or if it's just a new spot. Nonetheless, it's worth checking out!

jasmine tea cloud foam - 8/10! jasmine tea was fragrant service - ok! there's always been one worker so it takes a bit time for drinks to be made

There is an updated menu now with drinks ranging from just $2.90 to upwards of $6.50. Sadly, brown sugar boba is now a $1.00 surcharge but they have some other toppings that a free add-on. I got the black tea with sweet foam top and brown sugar boba. Their teas always hit the spot and have such a deep, rich flavor.

First of all, this is a newer boba shop opened in March this year but so far, it is a solid place for the first time trying. I had the $5.5 jasmine tea with milk foam, $4.9 jasmine milk tea and a $2.9 fruit tea. Price is pretty reasonable for the boba scene right now, around $4.9-6.5 per cup + a $2.9 fruit tea option. It was a warm day so I drank my jasmine tea milk foam in just no time, refreshing. One thing that I found awesome is there are 3 free toppings option for your drink, so if you don't want to pay extra for the toppings, you can go with the free option instead. Of course, only 1 per drink. Staff is friendly and patient with all the questions. The only improvement I could think of is there is only 1 person at the store making the drinks and wait time was 10-15mins for me. Overall experience: would definitely go back and try out other ones.

High quality tea leaves. A strong tea base is important, and I thought Bamboo Boba delivered on the jasmine green snow cap. I got oat milk and no whipped cream, and loved how it didn't taste diluted. Furthermore, toppings are free.

There are two kiosks for easy ordering. We walked in just a couple of minutes after they opened on a Monday and were the first customers inside. House Blend Pearl Milk Tea, 10% Sweet, 30% Ice w/ Boba ($6.25) - I'll start by saying that 10% is not nearly enough for this drink, totally unlike the Lynnwood location where anything over 10% sweet is cloyingly sweet for me. I ended up asking for a small cup of syrup on the side and titrated the drink until I thought it was sweet enough. My guess is that it took until around 50% sweet. With that out of the way, the flavor is identical to what I've had before. Rich malty taste with plenty of body. It's a very solid milk tea. This hechalou only has sugar syrup soaked boba, not a choice of honey or brown sugar boba as in Lynnwood. My guess is this is one of the reasons why the sweetness level is so different. Probably honey and/or brown sugar soak adds more sweetness to the drink than whatever soak they use here. The boba is a little firmer than Lynnwood and isn't as flavorful. Still miles ahead of most boba shops in the US though. Milk Tea Rating: 4.5/5 Boba Rating: 4.5/5 Osmanthus Oolong Milk Tea, 10% Sweet, 30% Ice w/ Boba ($7.05) - Again, this one isn't sweet enough and I had to add more sugar. The drink itself is strongly flowery, again very consistent with the other location. It's a very solid drink. Milk Tea Rating: 4.5/5 This location of Hechalou still serves some top tier drinks. I'll just have to remember the next time I visited to get 50% sweet rather than 10%. Bathrooms - Single unisex room.

The matcha flavor is very earthy and leans more bitter than sweet, which I personally enjoyed. However, if you're not a fan of strong earthy matcha flavors, you may want to try a different waffle option instead. The tea was really good as well. I ordered mine with regular boba, but I've heard their jelly is actually the highlight, so I'll definitely have to try that next time. The cafe seems really popular with families and is also a great spot to hang out with friends. If you prefer not to order at the counter, they also have kiosks available for self-ordering.
