One of best boba places around! You go up to order at a self-service kiosk and wait for your number to be called. The inside has limited seating and can get pretty packed with people. The drinks are larger than average as they come in cute, chubby cups. I love their Thai tea and I got it with the coconut cream this time, which was delicious. I also tried their matcha with the sea salt cream. The matcha was nicely smooth, creamy, and not too sweet. The boba has the perfect QQ texture. The square has some great little spots, but parking is tight. The ordering process here is frustrating; the screens ask you to take a number, but there are no numbers available. It caused a lot of confusion for everyone in line. My drink was ready fast, which I appreciated. I love the look of the wide cups, but they aren't very car-friendly if you're using a cup holder. A friend suggested to meet her as this is her favorite boba spot and I can see why! The parking lot is a little cramped and funky with multiple other businesses in this little L-shaped lot and it's easy to miss the turn to turn into here just FYI. Ordering is all through the kiosks and very user-friendly and easy with the pictures and the add-on options. There was limited seating inside and we came on a Tuesday afternoon so we quickly got a table but I was surprised at how many people came in and out during the hour we were there! They were definitely POPPING on a hot summer day! They are known for their delicious drinks and iconic large containers. So even though I feel like their drinks are on the pricier side ($7-$8) especially with the add-on ($1 for extra bubble) but it's totally worth it and they do have a rewards program as well. My friend got the Thai Tea with 50% sweet and extra bubble and I got the Mango smoothie with regular bubble - next time I'll also do extra bubble! Their boba is fresh and chewy and sweet. Service was fast and friendly and they are hustling churning out drinks for dining-in and take-out. Adding this to a new favorite boba spot! Damn- such an amazing boba place. They were able to do strawberry matcha with no added sugar which is rare- they use fresh strawberries instead of strawberry purée. Man! This spot will never get old. My partner and I used to live in Beaverton, and this was our go to boba shop. We have since moved to SE Portland, and we STILL make the trek out to get drinks here. The quality is unmatched and you can really tell they use fresh ingredients. From the tea to the boba itself, everything is a step above other shops I've been to. My go to is the Jasmine green tea with grass jelly, but I do enjoy trying out their seasonal drinks that they rotate through. They do a great job of getting your order out fast, even when it's pretty packed. It's nice they have self order kiosks. I feel like it makes things flow better. The space is also very cute and cozy. I ordered a Sea Salt Cream Matcha and my friend got a Black Sesame Matcha. I came in with zero expectations, but was blown away with my drink as I could taste a perfect amount of salt followed by sweetness of the cream, combined with the matcha. Service was quick considering it was crowded when we arrived, but the space emptied out within 5 minutes of being there. I love their drinks and flavor options! However, there have been a few times I've gone where the drinks are very inconsistent. The last time I went both my drinks that I usually order were watered down and flavorless. Hands down after all these years, no other bubble tea joint can compete with this one. This place is on a corner of Cedar Hills. It is located next to the old Hmart supply store. Parking is a real pain since it's right next to a Korean restaurant and convenience mart. They share a small lot. What was once a stand with a cashier has been replaced by two automated machines that will take your orders, which are then fulfilled by staff behind the counter. Takes some time to get used to but I prefer it now. The machine splits the drinks into categories. It has all the combinations and ice/sweetness/topping adjustments you could think of. Once you have paid and taken an order number, the line actually goes pretty quick. Overall process is more expedited than it used to be. The quality of the tea has always been apparent. All the ingredients they use are the real deal. My top two favorites are the matcha and ube. For the matcha, it is so smooth and earthy. Combined with the milk and a little bit of sweetness it is just so delicious. The ube however, when it is seasonally available, is my ultimate go to. It's got this nice nutty vanilla undertone and is not in the least starchy. The cream and sugar mixed in really helps bring out these notes. And boy oh boy, when you get these small soft slivers of mango mixed in, they just complement each other so well. My mother always really loved this too. Never do I hesitate to stop by here when I'm in the Beaverton area. It is such great quality and so refreshing. Only minor gripes I have are the cups are so fat and short they never fit in a stock cup holder. Luckily the seals are great and I have not once had a leaking problem. Second, why are they closed on Mondays? Third, wish they had a delivery platform of some sort. Sometimes out of convenience I do not feel like I have time to go into the store to order. But these issues are just me nit picking. I will continue to be loyal to Bubble N Tea because they always outperform their competitors with exceptional flavor and customer service. I'm a boba snob, and have easily tried over 100-200 boba places, i drink boba at least 1-2x per week. This place is GOOD! I was pleasantly surprised. Probably in one of my top 10. top 1-2 in portland area. The jasmine was perfection. The coconut smoothie at 25% sweet was a touch sweet (i'll get 0% next time) but flavor was amazing. It has a good coconut flavor (not the fake type) and it tasted slightly like toasted coconut. Not made w coconut flakes. I'll 100% be back. 100% recommend. Really not sure what happened here but we stopped by after Kigaru Sushi since they are in the same plaza. I ordered the Jasmine Milk Tea (added boba and oat milk) and my fiance got the Jasmine and Pear tea. I was very disappointed with my jasmine milk tea because I'm used to this drink with a strong flavor of tea and the milk and sweetness to balance out the drink. However this was NOT the case, my drink tasted like just milk water. I could smell the tea but couldn't tasty any of it. The boba was great though. The jasmine and pear tea was refreshing and had a strong tea flavor. Not sure if we'll be back again. We ordered via a kiosk and service was fairly quick. The interior was cute and when it's popping, it could be difficult to find seats. There is a small parking lot here and we came later ~4pm so we didn't have trouble parking. read more

Idk y'all, Bubble N Tea's tea was not it for me. I come from a more traditional Taiwanese-style boba bish preference palette, so I'll start there. The Bubble N Tea simple boba milk tea tasted so...synthetic. Like I couldn't even tell you what milk tea I drank because it didn't taste like any black tea I know. The boba was not QQ, on the harder side of textures, and yes their cup sizes are on the pint-y side reminiscent of Bay Area's Purple Kow or for those who have been to Southern California's Half and Half. That's pretty much all they've got going for them, you'll have a drink to chew on for the next half an hour, but size isn't everything. They also have other options from matcha drinks to other flavors like Cocoa Mint and Coconut, and that kind of tells me that this spot is catered to a less traditional palette. Totally cool, given the demographics in Portland, so I understand. But if the standard boba milk tea is unimpressive, I gotta say there's no coming back from that. Service is pretty much when you pick up your order, as all of the drink interaction is at the self-service kiosks. Parking is in a tight little plaza, and there is very limited seating inside, like you literally have to cram alongside a wall and it's not a great spot for larger parties.
