Didn't order food but got me a Thai tea with boba. Boba was perfect. Service was great even though they were super busy. Ambiance was cool.

I loveee me some bubbletea. We had ramen & saw that this place was connected, so of course we had to get some before heading home. My favorites are the smoothie ones, so I'm glad they had a bunch of them. You have the option to order on the ipad or at the counter. It was our first time, so we just ordered at the counter. I went with the strawberry banana smoothie & added tapioca. So refreshing, even if it was raining outside. Tasted like real fruit, not watery. Tapioca was a good consistency. I was also impressed about the cup quality. There is a little top piece you flip open, which is where your straw goes & then there is a slot where that little piece rests as you're drinking your drink. Really good, I wish I lived closer. Definitely give it a try, a nice balance after ramen.

10/10 recommend!! Finally found a gem in town & don't have to drive to Beaverton! The staff are so welcoming and nice.

Super fun and delicious teas and smoothie grapefruit with lychee, passion fruit with lychee, and orange mango smoothie. Photo ops wall with green plants. Great service. I like it better than share tea

5/5 for their lychee lime green tea. Always consistent and I always get this drink- with aloe topping! The perfect balance of sweetness and tang

    Iced matcha latte

Very nice customer service, clean environment, easy parking at the Walmart parking lot, and I really liked their iced matcha tea latte, 75% sweet. I'll come again. They are joined next door with Kyuramen, which I'd like to give a try sometime soon.

I'm been searching for strong delicious coffee for a while now…read more I recently was in starbucks near my house, not where I would want to go for coffee. I asked them this question, and they said you could get a latte or americano. How would so much milk equal strong coffee, anyways it didn't work out. I recalled this place, and that they have Vietnamese coffee.... Now that is strong, and also sweet which is just what I've been searching for. So we came by. My wife got a fruit tea which she said was really good, and I got my strong coffee. I was slightly concerned that it would be so strong my stomach would have issues, but this wasn't the case. It was perfect and also not crazy sweet, like I've had before. They really know what they are doing. The guy at the counter was serious looking but also friendly. The people behind us brought him flowers and then he had a big smile. Sooo, I you want to see a smile bring him some flowers, it was also valentines day, to be honest. If you like coffee with actual flavor, come here. I'm wondering if they sell decaf. I do really want to come back and get some salted egg cream!

It may have just been our experience, but the first impression wasn't great. Location - If you're not familiar with the area, I highly recommend using GPS because it's tucked away on the corner of a large apartment complex and is easy to miss. It's essentially hidden. There are fewer than a small handful of guest parking spots in the complex, and the rest are reserved for residents. Street parking is available, but that's limited as well. Service - This is the primary reason for the rating. The staff member who helped us came across as less than friendly. Since it was our first time, we mentioned we were leaning toward one drink and just wanted to confirm a few things about less ice and size. He responded with "What drink?" and proceeded as if we were ready to order, without really addressing our questions. It wasn't the words themselves, but the tone and approach that felt rude. When I later asked for a receipt, he pointed to the tablet screen where it mentioned receipts would be emailed, though he did eventually hand me a printed copy. Overall, the interaction just didn't feel welcoming. Drinks - We ordered the Ube Vietnamese coffee with less ice, though it still came with quite a bit of ice. The ube was more of a thick cream consistency, which just isn't personally my preference. The Vietnamese coffee was strong, similar to what you would typically find elsewhere.

My wife loves their bubble waffles! Toasty and yummy, pulling off those bubbles one by one and savoring each luscious bite! Unfortunately, they have been out of the waffle batter for some time which I believe they told us was coming from Taiwan. We will keep trying, because they are so good. Always a friendly and helpful crew working behind the counter. Most times it's crowded and you can expect a short line, but it moves along quickly. They also have an order board you can use. A few small tables are available if you choose to sit inside, but you're at the Bridgeport mall - find a seat outside to people watch and get some fresh air!

Then, the Freshly Squeezed Lemon Black Tea with boba and less ice became my go to drink. It had a good amount of lemon flavor, and the tea was both sweet and a little tart. I liked the flavor of the boba, but the texture has been inconsistent. Sometimes it's perfect and other times it seems slightly overcooked. That's why I rate the drinks as 4 stars instead of 5 stars. The service has been consistently 4 stars as the drinks were prepared quickly even if there was a line. The space can feel small if there are other customers waiting with limited seating. It's a good boba spot if you need a refreshing drink while you shop.

There are two kiosks for easy ordering. We walked in just a couple of minutes after they opened on a Monday and were the first customers inside. House Blend Pearl Milk Tea, 10% Sweet, 30% Ice w/ Boba ($6.25) - I'll start by saying that 10% is not nearly enough for this drink, totally unlike the Lynnwood location where anything over 10% sweet is cloyingly sweet for me. I ended up asking for a small cup of syrup on the side and titrated the drink until I thought it was sweet enough. My guess is that it took until around 50% sweet. With that out of the way, the flavor is identical to what I've had before. Rich malty taste with plenty of body. It's a very solid milk tea. This hechalou only has sugar syrup soaked boba, not a choice of honey or brown sugar boba as in Lynnwood. My guess is this is one of the reasons why the sweetness level is so different. Probably honey and/or brown sugar soak adds more sweetness to the drink than whatever soak they use here. The boba is a little firmer than Lynnwood and isn't as flavorful. Still miles ahead of most boba shops in the US though. Milk Tea Rating: 4.5/5 Boba Rating: 4.5/5 Osmanthus Oolong Milk Tea, 10% Sweet, 30% Ice w/ Boba ($7.05) - Again, this one isn't sweet enough and I had to add more sugar. The drink itself is strongly flowery, again very consistent with the other location. It's a very solid drink. Milk Tea Rating: 4.5/5 This location of Hechalou still serves some top tier drinks. I'll just have to remember the next time I visited to get 50% sweet rather than 10%. Bathrooms - Single unisex room.

The matcha flavor is very earthy and leans more bitter than sweet, which I personally enjoyed. However, if you're not a fan of strong earthy matcha flavors, you may want to try a different waffle option instead. The tea was really good as well. The cafe seems really popular with families and is also a great spot to hang out with friends. If you prefer not to order at the counter, they also have kiosks available for self-ordering.

Results- - Canned (not fresh) peaches used in drink. This may have caused weird aftertaste that does not have that familiar peach flavor like other places. - Flavor is way too sweet for 50%. - Light ice was done correctly When I walked away I quickly realized that they did not add my crystal boba toppings to my drink. I just had a few slices of lemons. After walking back to let them know, the girl who prepared my drink admitted to the guy that I questioned the issue about that she forgot to add it. No apologies from the girl directly and it was passive but only from the guy whom I mentioned the issue to. They have a lot of young kids working here and it looks like they work fast but they need to read the ingredients to fulfill the order correctly and to be consistent. I may give this place another try but will be sorely disappointed if they miss the mark again. (FYI- This exact location used to be Nobibi which quickly went downhill and this new business took over.)
