    Jasmine green tea
    Lauren F.

Pretty disappointed with this place. Coming back from a weekend trip to the beach, I saw that Hillsboro has a handful of good boba places. I was craving a good matcha tea drink, but three of the places we went to on a Sunday around 11:30 were closed! So, we decided to go here and try it out. Ube matcha tastes like nothing. Super disappointing because it just tastes like milk with no flavor coming through. My daughter's strawberry cake smoothie is the only drink that tastes decent, but it was very thick. A very sugary drink for kids. My jasmine green tea is brewed strongly and has a heavy note of jasmine more than a balance of green tea and jasmine, so I felt like I was drinking a flower to the dome. Please improve your drinks. $8 for these drinks could have been spent elsewhere. Look at my Ube matcha photo. It looks unimpressive with no flavor. 5/5 on drinks. 5/5 on service. 5/5 on atmosphere. They have unique flavors compared to the traditional boba shops you find nearby. I love ube + horchata and fell in love with their ube horchata drink. No need to adjust sweetness as it's not too sweet even with the addition of the honey boba. I've also tried the strawberry horchata. Strawberries were fresh and not too sweet. I wished they were a little sweeter but it was still a yummy drink! My friend's current obsession is the sea salt taro latte with boba! I haven't tried the food yet but I'm intrigued. I wouldn't come here with a decent size group as I don't recall seeing any larger tables. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to try unique tasty refreshments!

Service here is incredible!! They will walk you through each flavor combo you can think of and even let you try all of the flavors! Definitely recommend coming here, will be back!

    Matcha Einspanner Latte

Matcha Einspanner Latte asked for light ice, lady said this is light ice and didn't fill to the top! not worth price

I LOVE their corn, all three styles are amazing. And the drinks are always good! I enjoy their cheese and the spicy topping, but their fries are lacking. Thin and soft, doesn't feel crispy. They always have good music playing when you go in (I did delivery this time) and the staff is very inviting and helpful!

Lychee crush with additional crystal balls. Very good and not too sweet.

They had a sign up mentioning ingredients they were out of due to delay and that's fine, not their fault. We proceeded to order 2/3 drinks and the third was a grapefruit yogurt which they said they were out of grapefruit. Proceed to 2 drinks after that they were also out which wasn't stated on the sign. I asked if they had matcha strawberry and the cashier said they were out. Another worker came up saying they had it so rang me up for the drink for $7.70. After paying, they came by and said they were actually out of that drink and I can pick something else. Everything else was lower price than that and didn't wanna deal with the price difference nor did I think additional tip was deserved. I asked for a refund which they struggled to do and ended up not being able to, so they refunded me in cash. They proceeded to give me $6.90 but I asked doesn't the drink cost $7.70? They said no it's $6.90 until they checked again and I had to call out the $0.80 charge for the size. I even took a picture just incase. Also wanna note when we were watching them make my wife's oolong tea they added aloooot of water. Idk if that's normal but she noted it pretty much just tasted like water. Safe to say never coming here again.

I added breakfast to this place while they visited me for a few days. We called in our order as instructed on the website. Unfortunately no Boba was available for on the pancakes. When we arrived I was disheartened to find the place rather small either intense heat of a bakery, which made the lone table inside with a meandering fly the least bit welcoming. When adding drinks to our order, the lone man working there asked me a few times whether I really was ordering coffee for a child (and yes, she settled on a mocha when it was determined he only knew how to sprinkle matcha powder on the pancakes, and hadn't a clue as to their application to drinks). My grandson ordered their 'special hot chocolate' which pretty much tasted like watered-down Ovaltine. We sat outside to eat and after a few bites and finding these were nothing like the fluffy Japanese pancakes they'd expected, we threw away $44 worth of what was supposed to be a pleasant breakfast experience. I guess this was a life lesson for the kids, that our expectations aren't always met. And I want to prevent any other adults from making the same mistake I did in taking my business there!

I'm not sure if they only make them on Saturday's or if Saturday is the day they have the most vegan options, but whatever. Anyways, I got there maybe 45 minutes before closing but they had already sold out. Disappointed I missed out, I headed a ways down the street near the QFC to see if the frozen yogurt shop I once went to there might have some non-dairy flavors. When I walked in to Cup & Cone I realized it was not a frozen yogurt shop anymore (I didn't remember the name of the old shop so I didn't realize it was gone). I was glad to see that there were some vegan flavors available, though. Nothing took my fancy (the person working said the chocolate frosting flavor was more dark and less sweet, so not my style) until I saw the vegan soft serve option on one of the signs! Vegan soft serve is non-existent outside of Portland, or so I thought. I now know where I will be going on hot days when I would kill for a cone. The ice cream is delicious and unique from a previous version of vegan soft serve I've had (RIP Food Fight soft serve, I will always miss you). A vegan soft serve cone here will cost you $6 (or I think $7.50 if you also need a vegan cone) but it's so worth it even just as an occasional treat. You also do get a lot of ice cream I would say. I made the mistake of asking for a regular cone thinking I would get a free sugar cone, but I just got a regular waffle cone. I realized afterwards that they probably don't even serve them in sugar cones because of how much ice cream you get, since sugar cones are pretty small. I know next time to just pay extra for a vegan waffle cone. You also can choose from vanilla, chocolate or swirl (I went for the swirl). I will definitely go back as much as possible! Would be cool in the future to see them get creative with the flavors maybe, and switch them out for a week or so. Please go try the vegan soft serve now, even if you're not vegan! I don't think you could possibly regret it. I was even shocked and almost sure that somehow the flavors weren't vegan, because they tasted even better than regular soft serve ala DQ or McD's. Run don't walk!
