The food was very good, we wanted to try something new and it didn't disappoint. Would have loved to grab a grab-n-go drink. No drinks available There is a Starbucks and bubble tea place right next door though for any drink needs. Service was great !

Very cute bakery, passed by to try their basque cheesecake in mango vanilla. Very rich and creamy and not too sweet, very well decorated and delicious. If you are craving cheesecake that isn't too sweet then this place offers a pretty good bite! Friendly staff and we arrived right when the cheesecakes were done decorating and were getting placed in the display case. Small inside and won't likely fit to dine in, can always grab and go and sit outdoor with tables and chairs to sit or down on the stairs where's there's a grassy area as well.

We were in the area and picked up a few items from here (that were left) - vanilla cream puff, strawberry jiggly pastry, and a matcha strawberry cream cheese cookie. I would say the cream puff was the big winner out of the three items, but the others were tasty as well. The desserts here were not too sweet and easy to eat.

Sweet lil shop with inviting looking treats on display and friendly service. We tried cupcakes and a cookie. The cupcakes were good, while slightly different in texture and less sweet than I'm used to. I wasn't sure about the lemon oolong cookie to begin with, but it really grew on me as I ate it. I'd definitely return to try other items.

Buttercoop Bakery is cute family-owned bakery with a good variety of baked goods and sweets. The establishment is small, so orders are meant to be placed to-go instead of sitting down and enjoying your pastries; however, the Bethany Village center does have a handful of tables and seats around the plaza. I liked how their items were displayed with the names clearly visible. Service was kind and sweet, asking if I needed a bag and if I wanted the strawberry sauce on the side with my bunny pudding. I love supporting small family businesses and I love bakeries so I really wanted to give this place a 5/5 but there were two things: The choux au craquelin for the cream puffs was not crisp nor crunchy. I'm not sure if it was due to getting the sampler size cream puffs or receiving an older batch off the shelf but the exterior felt too soft and mushy for my liking. One of the cream puff flavors, which I believe was salted caramel, did not seem well incorporated and mixed because the first bite was shockingly salty and then the rest of the cream puff was fine.

Finally got a chance to visit this bakery shop. They did a lot of pop-up events in the past but I wasn't able to try it before. Dacquoise was surprisingly really good. I didn't expect the texture and flavor to be pretty good. I would definitely come back for this. Also a plus in the Halloween designs. So am excited if the store would have some cool designs for Christmas coming up. Everything we got was pretty good. Definitely would come back to try other options. Highly recommend this bakery if you are a sweet tooth person.

Came to this place in Bethany and it was a small nice area next to a lot of really good hotspots. We really enjoyed the Vietnamese music softly playing in the background as it hit Home being Vietnamese growing up. The gentleman at the register was very friendly and also helped us pick out items as it was our first time there everything was absolutely delicious and we loved all the cookies, especially the almond espresso and oolong milk tea. We got a pretty big hole so he also offered to let us try some egg tarts on the house. The mango Ube egg tart was delicious. You could really taste the mango and the hint of ube in each. The lemon tart was also really good. The lemon is really tart. We will definitely come back here as there are some items we didn't get that. I want to try like the Vietnamese coffee cookie, but we already had too much.

Wow I would totally go out of my way to come back and have that jiggly bunny jelly with the strawberry jam. It was so good! Tasted like strawberry milk but creamy solid. The puffs were also good, even though I ate them a while after purchasing they stayed pretty crisp on the outside. The salted caramel was more evenly distributed in flavor than in a previous review. I couldn't help but get some more items, and enjoyed the matcha macadamia nut cookie as well as the red velvet. Even the salted egg cupcake was good though I'm used to pork floss, and there was more sponge cake to topping ratio. Everything was not too sweet! The salted caramel puff was the sweetest and maybe more than "not too sweet" but it was not cloying.

I got the ube cream puff and it was genuinely one of the best cream puffs I've ever had (way better than beard papa if that helps)! The puff portion of the pastry was very buttery without being greasy and the texture was perfectly crispy. The cream was also not that sweet and had a very subtle ube flavor. The inside was decorate super cute and I really liked the pops of color and cute blind box figurines on display (Lulu the pig is one of my favorites). Am definitely excited to come back and try more of their pastries and desserts!

Cute bakery shop | deliciously sweet We came here on grand opening day! It was open for a few hours by then and the cute jiggly pudding bunnies had already sold out. We were told around 2-3 pm is when the next batch would be ready. I'm guessing they make two batches each day? We ordered a blueberry cupcake for my daughter, two cookies (one was matcha), and three matcha puffs. We are matcha lovers! This is another great place for those who like desserts that aren't too sweet. You can taste the butter used but not heavy on it. The cookies made my mouth water when I took my first bite. It's sweet but just the right amount. It's not like you're getting a mouthful of sugar and need to chug down some milk right after. Flavor is excellent! The puffs are excellent too. We will be back! We hope to get one of those cute jiggly bunnies next time. Other treats I spotted were flans, macarons, Korean buns, egg tarts, and juices. Great location. Lots of parking in this shopping area.

Butter puff (Vanilla, Matcha, Chocolate) and Strawberry Bunny Pudding

I went in today for the first time. The last time I went it was when this place was sugar bloom. I was met with a very nice lady who helped me and answered all my questions. I've never had these type of treats before other than the Korean garlic bun. So this was a new experience for me. I wouldn't say this is a dine in type place where you can chat inside. But there is a sitting area just few steps away. The Butter puffs, my favorite was the vanilla. The matcha, is amazing if you like Matcha. Personally for me, the closest I get to Matcha is a green tea frap from Starbucks. The chocolate, didn't give me the chocolate profile initially. Personally was not fond of the flavor. Garlic Bun, for me was delicious. If I asked my husband, his only complaint was the cream cheese ratio being too much. I thought it was perfect. Strawberry pudding bunny, was light and lightly sweet. Very well done. I loved it. Overall a great experience with the food and service.

A cute family owned business! The vibrancy of the place is very welcoming and honestly put me in an exciting mood lol The employees were very quick to greet. Based on what I was overhearing, they were kind and willing to answer any questions customers had. I will say, it is a smaller bakery, so not a place where you can just chill but the patio out front has more than enough space. I love how they've added their own take of what most people think is a cream puff (soft exterior and smooth cream interior) but they are actually butter puffs (crunchy exterior and soft creamy interior). My fiancee and I are personally huge fans because they aren't as sweet. They have multiple flavors but I'd say I enjoyed the ube and matcha the most! Besides the butter puffs, we got a Oreo cheesecake cookie, salted egg cupcake, pate chaud, Korean garlic bun. Honestly, all were delicious but what stood out to me the most was the salted egg cupcake! I really wasn't expecting to like it so much. The pate chaud was also delicious. Sometimes it's a bit too salty for my liking but theirs had a perfect balance. Very excited we have a bakery that's has their own little twist. We unfortunately don't live close by, but we'll definitely be back to try the rest of the bakery items! Parking: shared lot in a plaza in front of the store but also plenty of parking behind the store as well

    Too hard and dense

I went during their soft opening and lined up because the poster said the first 50 will get a free gift (I was the first one in line). Environment: very cute decorations and I liked how the colors popped and it was a small fun store. Staff: they were friendly and kind. Food: 1. Chocolate choux $4. I heard they're known for their cream puffs. The cream was nice and smooth but the overall pastry and cream were quite bland. The texture of the puff was a bit hard, too. Usually cream puffs are softer and more egg flavor but sadly, I couldn't really taste it. I couldn't taste the chocolate most importantly. Also, it was pretty tiny for the price I paid for it. 2. Pate chaud for $4.25. I'm glad that they had a couple savory options and this was one of them. I heated it up in my toaster oven for a bit before eating. The flavor was not bad and it wasn't too salty. However, the meat inside was quite hard and dense. It had some gamey pork flavor, too. Also, my mom dropped by later and asked for the bag (first 50) but they said she must purchase something in order to do so. However to be honest, the poster never said with a purchase of food so she spent/wasted her time and got nothing because I told her I already purchased. Mom didn't want to make a big fuss about it. Yes, soft opening means it's not their official opening but they opened their store yesterday and they experience with making their foods. I guess I picked the wrong things to try.

The footprint of the bakery is tiny, but there is ample seating at their various tables. The pastry counter has a variety of baked goods that changes by the day. The gentleman behind the counter explained that it's challenging to determine the traffic during the week, so weekdays do have a less varied selection. however, there are still plenty of options! The weekday I visited, after seeing someone on Instagram devouring several cookies, scones and muffins, they had all those items plus pinwheel pastries, biscuits, popovers, quiche, hotdogs in pasty, mini chocolate lava cakes, and tarts. Hard to choose! Especially when I no longer over indulge on sweets and pastries So I limited myself to just one item. Opted for the popover freshly filled with Bavarian creme upon ordering. The popover was light and airy, but it was the sweet, delicate Bavarian - or maybe French - creme that took it over the top! They need to be eaten there, not saved for another day. On weekends they also have frittatas and breakfast sandwiches which I love. lily coffee is also available. And they have a dish with day old items for $1.50. The only downside is the tiny parking lot shared by several other stores so it's always packed. I drive a tiny Smart car and still had to maneuver and do a few k-turns to get out safely. Recommend parking on the street!
