Top- strawberry crepe, bottom - Durian crepe
Hop N.

Boom crepe used to be a food cart in downtown Portland but it looks like they've settled here at Washington Square. If you're a fan of durian you must get the durian crepe I promise you it's so worth getting the yum factor is HIGH! The crepe itself is soft got a good chew to it and they use real durian for the filling so it's so super creamy and you get chunks of durian flesh when you bite into it. As a durian lover I fell in love immediately, still thinking about it as I'm writing this review. It's a small but mighty little stall inside the mall, you can watch the crepe making process and it doesn't take long for your order to be ready. I love it here will always come by when I'm at Washington square for sure. Highly recommend you give this stall a try if you haven't!!

Durian creme brûlée

The durian crème brûlée was really good and had large pieces of dirt and inside, which was amazing. The workers are very friendly and helped answer our questions. If you like durian, highly recommend the creme brûlée crepe.

Every time I've passed by this kiosk in Washington Square mall on my way out, I remind myself "I'll have to trust that next time." Well, this weekend I finally got to! My friend and I wanted a snack, and a crepe was just the thing. We both got desert crepes. I enjoyed the strawberry, blueberry, whipped cream + cream cheese mix of the Rose of Berry! And you have the choice to get it as a burrito-shaped wrap which is easier to eat or this cone shape. I'd love to try their savory crepes next time!

Salmon and cream cheese

These are not traditional French crêpes by any means, but they are tasty. I had smoked salmon and cream cheese, and it was an excellent snack. It's not super filling so you could go back for a dessert one after more shopping. They don't have dedicated seating nearby, but I ordered coffee at Starbucks while waiting, so I could sit at their tables.

10/10 the. Crème brûlée crepe is amazing. The crape is filled with chocolate, strawberry banana, vanilla ice cream and topped with rich refreshing creamy brûlée. Crispy crust sugar add a nice texture. Very fun and yummy dessert. Love it. Boom is a stand alone stall inside a mall next to William Sonoma. You can park in Macys'side and walk to the shop.

Inside the mall. It took some time to get my crepes but you could watch them making it. I liked how they have a variety of savory flavors, for people who do not eat pork. The crème brûlée is very unique and filled with a lot of different ingredients inside.

Little princess with vanilla ice cream - yum

My hubby and I shared one crepe. We got the little princess and requested less whipped cream. We enjoyed the crepe as not overly sweet and too creamy! The strawberries and bananas were fresh! The crepe was very thin to bite through. The price was really decent less than $8.

Finally tried Boom Crepes! Every time I go to Washington Square I always pass by it. We got two crepes: Durian Creme Brûlée: I was so happy to see that they had a durian filled crepe. It was packed with a good amount of durian but it didn't have a strong fresh durian flavor. There was also a scoop of vanilla ice cream too. The creme brûlée on top was a nice added addition to the crepe. Country Road: This was packed with vanilla ice cream and Nutella, topped with Oreos, strawberries, whipped cream, and cookie. Overall, loved trying the sweet crepes they have here. Will definitely come back to try some of their savory ones.

We had crème brûlée crepe. It was very good. We both like it a lot. The crème brûlée itself is wonderful. It is also cold inside which make it more delicious as well. The crepe taste and texture is like the original Japense crepe. We will definitely have it again and again. Highly recommended. Glad that we have it a try.

Reminds me of the Japanese crepes you'd get walking through the streets of Harajuku. Boom crepes is located in the mall, but don't let the free standing storefront at the mall entrance fool you. It still draws a crowd, deservingly so for those that don't get to experience these savory and dessert crepes elsewhere.

How can you go wrong with Japanese crepes? Boom Crepes has got you covered with great prices, yummy crepes, & fast service! They have a good mix of sweet and savory crepes on their menu, but for this visit, I wanted some dessert crepes. I ended up ordering a creme brulee crepe with matcha ice cream and 2 strawberry nutella crepes. The man running the shop was very friendly and it was entertaining to watching him blow torch the heck out of my crepe! LOL Whenever I eat crepes, I have a fear that my crepe will fall apart or the ice cream will start leaking from the bottom! BUT THESE CREPES WERE PERFECT! Never did it fall apart or start leaking once. The portions were perfectly packed and it was so easy to eat! Surprisingly no mess. This is definitely an underrated gem of Washington Square.

The boom and mango boom crepe (creme brulee crepe family).

Glad creme brulee crepes are making their rounds around the states. It does take a bit more time to make but it's so worth it. Seems they sell out of their durian crepe pretty early on, but they still had their boom crepe with creme brulee, ice cream, strawberries, bananas, and nutella, and their mango boom which replaces the previous fruits and nutella with mango and whipped cream. The crepe was nice and soft, but I guess I ate it too slow because it started to drip out the bottom. Check them out if you're in the mall.

My boyfriend's hem n cheese crepe. We really enjoyed the pan seared cheese edge.

I loved that cup - it had a cute phrase on it about happiness. I carry water with me at all times - into work, the gym etc etc... My cup and I had been through a lot together and it was one of those thick plastic with a straw screw lid dealios. Then tragedy occurred and my cup was broken so I brought it into Jamba with me. They replaced it BUT I was told they no longer had my lovely screw lid. I got their red Pacific NW cup with a pop on lid, no straw and I hated that damn thing from the getgo - plus, it legitimately fell over two different times (while full) at my gym and the lid just popped off....ugh... I was honestly a bit happy when the stupid thing turned tragic and cracked (and I only every handwashed it etc). I needed to run an errand at another mall spot and thought - oh hay, might as well see if Jamba will replace my cup and I will drink my lunch! The sweet gal was super and checked with her manager but what I was even more grateful for was the under the row of the crappy Pacific NW red cups were a simple screw lid cup that said Jamba on them with a straw. I was glowing with happiness and sure enough the manager was a dream...they replaced it with a smile and I got my Razzmataz in my shiny new cup and peace on Earth...puppies, rainbows, kittens...and unicorn... It took me a solid 45 minutes to finish because it was so filling, and guess what? Even as it sat, the flavor stayed delicious and the texture didn't change a bit. Their menu is huge! Seriously, so many options--it feels like I'd have to visit every day for 90 days straight just to try everything. Decision paralysis is real here, but honestly, that's a great problem to have. The store wasn't busy when I visited, so it was nice and relaxed, giving me time to ask questions and enjoy the vibe. Pricing is on the higher side for drinks, but considering this is Tigard and these shakes are meal replacements, it's actually pretty reasonable. Definitely cheaper than grabbing a meal at most places around here, where you'd easily spend over \$20. Also, shout-out to Noah! Super friendly guy who genuinely cared about my fitness goals. He recommended their marathon program, which costs \$150 for a 10-day session, happening twice a month (from the 1st-10th and 15th-25th). You do need to buy Herbalife shakes and follow their meal plan, but I'm excited to see how it works out. I'll be back with an update once I finish my first round. For now, Daily Nutrition is a solid 5-star experience!

The grocery store was amazingly neat and dare I say aesthetically pleasing. Let's just say all the veggies look almost plastic they were so perfect. There were $10 organic mini watermelons and all kinds of fancy stuff. I strutted up to the register and handed the dude my order. "One Onion?" He asked..."that's right." I replied.
