This place has been on my list to visit forever and I finally did! There are SO MANY OPTIONS!! So you might want to peruse the menu before you go so you have an idea of what you want. We got a few things because we couldn't decide! I will say though if you don't like very sweet things, you may want to order your dessert with less toppings/sauce because they pour them on thick here and it was a bit much for me, but still super good! Everything was made fresh and was good quality (even the strawberries!!). They weren't very busy for a Saturday and I was shocked because that place is so good and such a different dessert option! It might be the higher prices but I imagine it's because they use high quality ingredients from what I can taste. I highly recommend stopping here at least once!

Every time I'm in Oregon, I have to stop by Dot Sugar. A cute little dessert shop in Beaverton. Amazing fresh Lokma! My favorite is the red velvet, perfect balance of sweetness. They have amazing service, everyone is friendly and willing to answer any questions you may have. Of course I'm returning next time I'm in the area!

Lokma with cinnamon sugar and nutella

The place was full of people enjoying their treats and there was quite a line. We ordered the Lokma with cinnamon sugar and Nutella, it was a roughly 10 minute wait as our order was made fresh! We were able to watch it be made right in front of us. Perfect sweetness and they were so nice and warm to taste! The only downside was that the outside of the container was a bit messy as if it was made in a rush- taking it to go left our fingers all sticky from the dirty container.

We walked in and it was loud, a little busy and all the people working looked up and then continue on working without saying anything. Kind of awkward. We also stood at the counter to order for a moment before being acknowledged. We came here strictly because we'd heard about the Dubai chocolate bar. It was SO tiny for the price, and it was good but nothing special. Once we ordered we looked around at the photos and stuff, it's decorated very appropriately, lots of dessert photos. Bathroom was clean and right down the hall from the main dining area. Lots of people were coming in to pick up, looks like it's a hot spot to order out but not eat in. They had some benches outside so we went to eat out there since it was a bit cooler and quiet. The inside area is very warm! This is a diabetic persons worst nightmare let me tell you... Nobody in our group is diabetic but WOW just overdone with the chocolate drizzle, Nutella, Oreo and what not. It was so much so that it felt like I was eating Nutella on Nutella with a side of Nutella and no waffle flavor in sight. I'm sure if you ordered it with light drizzle or less of whatever it would be good but you don't know until you e had it and then at the point you've wasted your money. It was so heavy on all the sweet stuff it wasn't enjoyable. I don't think any of us finished a single item. If you come here to order one or two items to share amongst a group it seems like an okay spot but otherwise it's way too sweet for me.

Welcoming customer service, they provide a menu option with pictures, makes it easier to order. Ordered mini pancakes with pistachio and Nutella, they came out ice and warm to the order. Ordered the Mojito lemonade mint and blueberry drink a little sweet for my taste, overall delicious. Finally had to try your Dubai pistachio chocolate, Mmmmmm was definitely worth it. Its small shop located around AMC theater and other small food shops.

The tik tok famous Dubai chocolate was delicious and was everything that my wife hoped it would be. Cute place, though we didn't stick around since someone in the place smelled sooo strongly of cigarettes smoke. I'd recommend trying their products!

labubu Dubai chocolate! YEAHH!!

HEADS UP BRING YOUR SWEET TOOTH!! lol. DOTSUGAR PDX is amazing and will totally satisfy any sweet craving you have. I've been here many time but this is the first time I am writing a review about them. You can't go wrong with any of the choices you make. Only warning I would give is some of the products can be too rich in sweetness. It's to hard to say which ones because all of us are different. I use to get my own thing but now-a-days I choose to order one thing and share it. This time around I got the Lokma. Best way I can describe this is it's a softer/fluffier donut hole, sorry don't mean to offend by calling it a donut hole. Up until my recent visit I use to get the Lotus topping, which is crumbled biscoff cookie over a biscoff type Carmel. It's my favorite flavor on anything I get there. I highly recommend trying it. Yesterday the gal working told me I can choose 2 toppings!! My inner fat kid started drooling, haha, so I also chose Nutella! The combination of flavor did not disappoint! Haha. There is ample parking and it's easy to access spots. It in the shopping center with the AMC theater and New seasons market. There are a lot of restaurants around there and it would be perfect for date nite. Enjoy!

Pistachio lakma and lotus waffle stick. Amazing! This may be my new go to for a dessert craving. The store is really cool and the music really adds to the culture of the place. The workers were so friendly and making my toddler laugh. The lotus flavor is kind of like a biscoff biscuit in sauce form. It was really good and the waffle was so soft. Definitely my favorite of the two. The lakma was really good and airy. Lots of pistachio sauce and it's so velvety. Lots of pistachio crumbles all over too.

Honestly I was super excited to come here and got really disappointed. The food was not good at all and I found a hair in my food. We got the famous Dubai chocolate bar and it was so small and the filling tasted super burnt. Their service was okay but one lady just seems super mad or upset. (Think it was the owner) honestly if you want some pictures it's a good place to come. The one thing I will say is the mini pancaked are the only good thing here.

Came here with a friend on a random Thursday night around 7pm. The store was brightly lit and very clean. We were greeted warmly and I'm still fascinated by the always running chocolate faucets/fountains. YUM! This was our first time so the staff let us know that we can look at the booklet they have with pictures of all the menu items by type - this was super helpful! There were lots of choices that all sound sweet and amazing but we went with the simple mixed chocolate lokmas - a blend of white and milk chocolate covering the light and fluffy lokmas. They were fresh and hot and perfect for sharing! The consistency is almost Mochi like not also with a crispy outside. It's also surprisingly not overly sweet which was great. This fulfilled our dessert cravings for sure! Maybe next time we will give the Lotus flavor a try - that was highly recommended by the staff!

Service YES! Food YES! Sugar high YES! Oh my. So. Fricking. Good. In order of yumminess. Oreo lokma. Blueberry pancakes. Mixed chocolate waffle. Waffle stick. Now you are dropping a dime in here but if you can share, not too bad I guess.

They have a very ample menu. I was a little taken back by the pricing of the breakfast. Most meals were over 12 dollars, some standard meals as much as 24 dollars for a breakfast. I ordered a scrambled, it had eggs, veggies, cheese and potato's and jalapeños. It was a very large portion of food. My son had a pancake with eggs and bacon, he did not eat the rest of his bacon he said it had an odd taste. I would share that they have a huge menu with many options. The food quality was ok, probably not be back but it seems like they have a good following of customers.

The classic diner vibes make the whole experience feel cozy and nostalgic. Our meals were about $24.99 each -- a bit on the steeper side for diner food, but the portions were generous and everything tasted fresh and satisfying. Definitely one of those spots where you leave full and happy. The seating was cute and upholstery looked recently updated. Bathroom was clean. I'd absolutely come back again for the diner experience alone. A cute, underrated place for a laid-back brunch!

When we moved to Oregon, it was under construction but we kept hearing how good it was - in fact, all the local FB pages would gush about it when a newcomer would ask about the best restaurant. And once it finally opened, we tried it, but it was kind of like Marie calendars and Shari's, but local. Ok, but not what we had expected for all the hype. So, after trying a handful of options it seemed Bannings was the only place we could still get breakfast so I begrudgingly agreed. Well, I was mistaken! I got the breakfast enchiladas and a strawberry orange mimosa. Now, the mimosa - I'll get that out of the way first. It was weird - it looked curdled. It just had mashed strawberry at the bottom and it actually was quite good. I'd do a normal mimosa in the future, but good. But the enchiladas - delicious. Like, I'll come back again and again for those. And they didn't charge me extra for the avocado, which I think is righteous because I asked for no hash browns. But not all places would do that, they'd nickel and dime even if you passed on one side for another. Additionally; my husband likes a savory breakfast and a sweet one too - so he often gets two breakfasts and though he may not eat all of both he gets that savory and sweet. Well, the omelettes come with 3 pancakes. Perfection. And, I took 3 bites of them - I usually might try 1 or not at all - they are very very good. Last - it did not break the bank. I've about ruled out breakfast out because of how crazy expensive the places that should be reasonable are. This was reasonable - PLEASE DONT CHANGE!! All in all 5 stars, will be back for breakfast; and hey - when I'm wrong I can admit I was wrong! Give them a try if you haven't!
