I really wanted to try something from this place, so I ordered their jeju matcha latte even though I know it contains milk. I sipped the drink a couple of times and enjoyed the floral matcha taste. This is quality. My husband, friend, and daughter enjoyed bingsus. My daughter went quiet eating her Oreo bingsu. She loved it! My friend had a mango and cheesecake bingsu. He said it was really good, but he thought they should offer a smaller portion because it was too much for him. He also says the price is a little high for this dessert. My husband enjoyed his Piggy Bar bingsu that was displayed at the front. He said it was good but comparing it to the IC Bingsu in Hillsboro, he preferred IC Bingsu instead. It wasnt too sweet, but there was a lot more ice compared to toppings. The presentation is beautiful. The items are presented on bamboo trays with nice gold spoons. The place is clean and aesthetic. My daughter and I stopped by tonight to try Bing su Dang. It was 9pm and there were no seatings. There's a note saying if there is no seatings, we are welcome to sit in the other restaurant next door. We fell in love with the other Bing Su place on 185th and thought we'd try this place out since it's one minute away from us. I had my eyes set on the fruity BingSu but my daughter loves all things chocolate and ended up with the Dubai chocolate. We ordered the large to share and it was the right amount for 2 people. We received our order within 10 min. Toppings are piled high so mix slowly or it gets messy. Inside is bright with cute decor. The BingSu is served on a tray so easy clean up. You bus your own table. This is the best bingsu we've have in the US so far! Pricey but delicious! It was about $18 for a large half and half bingsu of strawberries and mango (special order), but the bowl is big and we shared it. My son and his wife went previously and warned us to split a bowl because the servings are quite large. Took an hour to get our bingsu, but we didn't mind. Their POS (Point of Sale) was a little glitchy, but worked eventually. Their menu items are currently limited. We got the half & half bingsu ($17.99). Half was injeoimi (soybean powder) & half was mango. The texture of their shaved ice was one of the best we've had! Yay finally open! During the year I'd frequently pass by as it was being built and it definitely exceeded my expectations. It's located nextdoor to Khamdee Thai Cookhouse and near Trader Joe's and other known businesses! I believe not all items are out along with their set up POS system until the 25th so take that into mind. The interior is minimalistic and spotless, distinctly reminding me of the cafes in Korea. I got the Mango Yogurt bingsu and I loved it! They have other items such as the popular korean croffles and drinks. A regular-sized bowl is $12.99, and I think it's worth it as they price competitively with other popular Korean bingsu spots in LA and similar spots in the Beaverton/Portland area. That said, please be patient with them. They're a brand new business (opened 2 days ago) with minimal staff and everything is made with care. Both times (midday Monday and Friday evening) I was given spoons that were dirty on the spoon and sticky on the handles. Their small sharing bowls were also dirty. What a great addition to our neighborhood! I know I say this a lot, but if you check a map of my most recent reviews, all these great places are literally in the same neighborhood. I was just saying great stuff about another similar place but now I don't know if I'll venture farther than Bing Su Dang. The quality of their desserts rivals that of some of the best I've had around Portland. Now, it's still pretty new as of this review, so only time will tell whether or not they can maintain such quality long-term. But I'm hopeful. The proprietors are very friendly. The shop is clean and spacious. Heck, even the patio furniture is top-notch. I live close by, so I'll definitely be a frequent visitor to this place. read more

we came the day after they opened so i think they were still getting the hang of things. the owner took a while to take our order because he was taking care of some phone calls, so we waited in line for a long time. the bingsu also took a while to come out, since it was so busy. we first ordered the k peach yogurt bingsu. this was very fresh. it was not too sweet and the yogurt added a sweet and sour flavor that added so much depth to the dish. the addition of cornflakes added a nice texture as well. we finished this bowl in 4 minutes and went back in line to get another bowl, this time opting for the chocolate bingsu. this flavor was my favorite. there were oreo crumbs and brownie bits which added a lot of crunch to the dish, making the texture so satisfying. the chocolate ice cream on top adds some more sweetness that wasn't in the dish before. they were both amazing but as a crunchy texture girl, the chocolate won me over. i would love to come back here and try the other flavors! read more
