    Snowmoon Croffle

I've been a big fan of Bingsu for a while and having noticed Snowmoon being open I definitely had to check it out! Tucked in a bit of a strip mall area, Snowmoon has great croffles and bingsu! The snowmoon croffle that I got was great and very fresh! It came out of the kitchen hot and ready to be eaten! The bingsu was also really good and I liked the two size options! The interior was very kpop themed and large with an area hidden that I'm thinking is where their advertised dance lessons would be. Overall it's definitely a good place to check out!

A cute sweet shop serving Bingsu and Croffle. The inside is clean and open with lots of natural lights eventhough the space is in a lower ground level. Lots of seatings. Staffs were super friendly as well. You order at the kiosk and then your order is called out when ready. I liked that they have different sizes and varieties to choose from. We enjoyed the Black Sesame Cup Bingsu. The ice was actually nice and creamy! Some of the better ones we've had in the area. Would be back to try more.

What an amazing spot!! As a k-pop lover, just walking in here made me happy. So much fun decor! I love that you can order at the kiosk and I really love being able to order bingsu in a to-go cup that is perfect for one person. Usually I have to share one with someone else! The staff are very friendly and the space is pretty big! Perfect for a group of friends as there is plenty of seating. Mango bingsu was great!

We went to SnowMoon during a Friday afternoon and were warmly greeted upon entering. The inside is quite spacious, with a decent variety of seating for small and large groups. There was some tasteful K-Pop themed decor throughout but felt like it still had the potential to be improved. Ordering was easy through the kiosk and we appreciated that they had photos for the items so it helped us determine how much and what size to order. While waiting for our order, the owner came up to us and welcomed us to the establishment and let us choose a photo card as a welcome gift for their grand opening! The bingsu had a nice fluffy and airy consistency, decent amount of mango chunks, and tasted creamy without being overly sweet. The Croffle was surprisingly still crisp yet flaky! I only wished it was served a bit warmer and the matcha flavor was more prominent.

It is a bit cluttered in the space. However, inside you will be greeted by the most beautifully crafted pastries of all shapes and colors. The craftsmanship of each pastry lends to a hand with utmost steadiness and preciseness. The also sell fantastic Japanese Soufflé Pancakes - they take time to make so plan for at least 30 minutes wait up to an hour on weekends. I picked out four of the pastries and the tiramisu. The pastries were all fresh and delightful in flavor. The lavender one was my absolute favorite - subtle yet flavorful. The tiramisu was a bit strong for me. Everything else was fantastic. Super super reasonable prices considering the quality.

There was a…read moresign in the door that says " made Friday and Saturday only. " so I assumed it'd be safe to come back in a Friday. On Friday k come in ready to try a few things and the owner snaps at me and tells me why she doesn't understand why I thought they made it on a Fridays, they've only ever made it on Saturday. I explained we saw the paper and she said no that was for something else. I then SUGGESTED she put up a sign explaining that tanghulu was made only in Saturdays and she started arguing with me about why I was wrong. I again explained it was a suggestion. At that point I should have just walked out, this store is only open like 4 days a week and the days it is opened they barely sell anything! My friends play an Avatar based d&d so I got some of these candy games for them and we got two parfaits (one raspberry chocolate one strawberry.) we told her we wanted our order to go. She handed our food to us without lids and we had to ask for them. My ice cream was okay, it was vanilla soft serve, with strawberries, and strawberry sauce, nothing crazy (but better at McBees!) but my partners was GROSS! The raspberry was overpowering and even though it didn't list coffee it had a STRONG flavor of coffee. I hate coffee. We ended up throwing his away it was so gross! TLDR: the owner is rude, they only actually have a menu on Saturday and get samples of everything because some stuff doesn't taste very good

It's a fun, unique place with great staff! I also love that they celebrate Pride Month and support LGBTQ+. My eye immediately caught the huge wall art inside when I entered. It's beautiful! They also have a gashapon station and mini crane game. Plenty of inside seating with some outdoor seats. They have one kiosk to place your order, or you can talk to the person working at the cashier. The staff is so friendly and helpful. They told us the man working in the kitchen only works on Saturdays, which is when he makes special treats like the Ube Japanese cheesecake! This is a good one! It's very light and delicious, a perfect treat for Ube lovers. Love matcha? No problem, they have so many matcha flavored treats. I went with the mini taiyaki matcha drizzle. It has a delicious Bavarian cream filling with matcha soft serve. Whoa - so good! I liked getting the mini taiyaki because I wanted to share. My husband enjoyed their coffee cold float! Their coffee is from down the street, so it's local! And my daughter loved their chocolate taiyaki with Oreo crumble. Their soft serve is so creamy - yum! This place is for those that love treats and matcha on the sweeter side, not the bitter/hint of sweet. These people know how to make delicious sweets. We'll be back!

If you like exotic flavors with that Hispanic flare, then this is the place. I was very happy to find out that my all-time favorite flavor Nuez (pecan) was one of those flavors. Very nutty and buttery as how I always expected this to be. A delightful treat to enjoy during these last hot days of summer but can still be enjoyable throughout the year. Eloté or corn is my 2nd best favorite along with Pistachio and Mint chip not too far behind. There are multiple friendly ladies behind the counter ready to help you and they have tons of other flavors. Just hard to pry myself off my current favorites. They also have other frozen treats as well as churros near the checkout counter. Parking is ample and it's easy to get in and out of the lot. You can even sit outside and enjoy your treat with a friend or family member. Overall I wished I had tried this much sooner but now that found a new place to enjoy a frozen treat, I will come more often.

Seated upstairs so felt bad the waitress had to go up and down many many times. The empanadas were awful. I am being extremely honest. It seemed as if they were pre frozen and lacked flavor and filling. We were so surprised at the quality and price. I also had the shnitzel and it had no seasoning and was so bland. With a sad excuse for chimichurri. That seemed haphazardly put together, again lacking any flavor. Was it an off day based on the amount of people raving? Maybe. But also maybe they aren't aware of the better options in Portland so lack the awareness of true potential in this cuisine. I recommend Lechón if you want real chimichurri and empanadas.

We tried four empanadas (chorizo, pollo spicy, humita, and imposter) along with an order of papas, and that was more than enough for the two of us. Each empanada had a wonderfully flaky, golden crust. The fillings were flavorful and distinct; the only one that didn't quite win us over was the imposter, though that's probably just a matter of taste. The papas were crisp and perfectly seasoned too. Service could have been a touch more attentive, especially given the place wasn't too busy, but overall, it's a lovely new addition to the neighborhood -- cozy, tasty, and full of potential.
