That was crazy. Might possibly be the worst boba experience I ever had in my life. KFT has been slowly declining over the years and we haven't been in awhile but we we were in the area. They had a sign up mentioning ingredients they were out of due to delay and that's fine, not their fault. We proceeded to order 2/3 drinks and the third was a grapefruit yogurt which they said they were out of grapefruit. Proceed to 2 drinks after that they were also out which wasn't stated on the sign. I asked if they had matcha strawberry and the cashier said they were out. Another worker came up saying they had it so rang me up for the drink for $7.70. After paying, they came by and said they were actually out of that drink and I can pick something else. Everything else was lower price than that and didn't wanna deal with the price difference nor did I think additional tip was deserved. I asked for a refund which they struggled to do and ended up not being able to, so they refunded me in cash. They proceeded to give me $6.90 but I asked doesn't the drink cost $7.70? They said no it's $6.90 until they checked again and I had to call out the $0.80 charge for the size. I even took a picture just incase. Also wanna note when we were watching them make my wife's oolong tea they added aloooot of water. Idk if that's normal but she noted it pretty much just tasted like water. Safe to say never coming here again.

Their Mango Slush tastes amazing. Any additional topping enhances the taste. A medium drink costs $7.70 with any additional item. A large drink costs $8.50 or more with an additional item. I just have a small suggestion for the workers. My second purchase was on May 31, 2025, at 8 p.m. While coming back home, I noticed there was a golden piece of hair inside the cup. I know they work with great caution, and I understand it was an accident. I hope my review helps them become even more careful.

I like trying a Hokkaido bubble tea at most boba shops I stop by so I can compare who makes it the best. I enjoyed Kung Fu Tea's but at first sip it had a watered down flavor. The shop itself is very cute, clean and the staff were kind and helpful. I would definitely visit again to try something different.

Laughable ordering experience, thankfully with a friendly associate who also seems to experience the same frustration as customers. Ordering milk tea or Boba for me is a very overwhelming thing. This place only made it worse. The vast amount of options may seem good but became confusing when I found out my first and second options were actually not really as advertised or even available. Such as: Fruit tea isn't actually made from herbal tea. It's made from a powder or liquid base then water added to it. Blueberry creamcicle advertised as "new" yet when I tried to order it was told it had been discontinued and the menu was outdated. That means it likely had been discontinued for some time in order for the menu to still list it as new. The biggest bottleneck in this place is the line because of the menu. Thanks to two different robot machines on the back, once ordered the drinks moved fast. However, in the extra 4 minutes it took for about 10 additional questions just because of how poorly the menu was organized and not current, the line behind me quickly grew. I quickly also realized it may not have been fully the people in front of me's wrong doing in also taking about 5 minutes to order and move aside. I quickly yet finally settled on a smores slush with Boba and 30 percent sweet. I was surprised to have warm Boba which was a nice treat. Good texture but a little bland. The drink itself even at 30 percent still tasted very sweet. There were several large ice chunks still in the bottom which gave it a displeasing drink mouthfeel. For nearly 7 dollars for a medium for things all made from powder and not fully blended, the price vs quality was my final "strike three". I likely won't be back unfortunately. The menu is business 101 for a fast retail shop and there's plenty of better options with fresh items actually using teas, nearby. The best part was the menu

Unfortunately, this wasn't exactly our cup of tea. Not only were they currently out of my wife's first two choices, but her third drink choice, a Coconut Milk tea, was unable to be blended, for some unidentifiable reason. Can't you just add ice and...blend it? Regardless, once it was received, she remarked that it was a little too sweet, and left an unusual aftertaste that had an unpleasant twang to it. I wasn't going to order anything initially, until I glanced a huge tank of oolong tea, and decided to grab a small iced oolong with reduced sweetener. What I received was one without *any* sweetener whatsoever, and which took more than five minutes to complete, because there was another order ahead of me. Y'all know you can just...fill up my cup with ice and tea while the other drinks are blending, right? You don't *have to* process them in chronological order, especially when you can knock it out in about 10 seconds. The management and the staff seem to be content to let things simmer here, instead of rising to a boil, so as things stand right now, this place is weak tea.

I visited the Boba shop for the first time in this area. The staff were really friendly and helped me choose a drink that I had never tried before. I asked for just one teaspoon of sugar, and they were happy to accommodate my request.

It looks like a small place but it's pretty spacious when you go in. Although when we went, there were so many things listed as not available. Most of the things we wanted were in that list. So we tried to make do. Shouldn't have, because we didn't like what we got. Also, make sure to reduce the sweetness level. We forgot to do it and man, it was so so sweet.

Darren Y.

Got a black tea milk tea and an Oreo wow tea. Both were good - really really sweet. The wow tea had brown sugar boba and cookie crumbles. Milk tea was classic May try the Oreo slush next as that's supposed to be more like a shake. Service was quick and easy. Would come again

Oolong Tea Wow Milk Cap and Cocoa Cream Wow
Miki M.

Honestly, I'd give this 3.5 stars. I used to like KFT a lot when they first opened but I've noticed the quality isn't as good as before. The menu can also be m confusing. For instance, I ordered an Oolong Tea Wow Milk Cap. They describe on their menu that 'Wow Milk' is wow brown sugar boba with Lactaid milk. They also describe that 'Milk Cap' is their version of cheese foam, it's a thick cream topped onto the drink to mix in. So I thought what I ordered was a oolong tea with wow bubbles and lactaid milk cap. But it seems as though the Milk Cap is only made with heavy cream and they don't make a lactose free version with Lactaid milk. So if there's something on the menu you're unsure about, ask the boba baristas.

I was surprised how big their menu is, and that it spans from Cantonese dim sum to Sichuan spicy dishes. I don't know if that's a good or bad thing. The dim sum is your typical standard fare. They make a good pan fried noodle dish and congee. Of the dim sum items, I think I liked the har gow the best. The rest of the items I think they could use some better seasoning. Service wise they do need a few more carts going when it gets busy. The last time we went, my mom just up and walked over to the cart that was on the other side of the room to get some items. Or just switch to the "pencil and order on demand" method. Saves some of the service hassle. There are some nice banquet sized tables towards the back of the dining room, with lazy susans and such. If you're not looking to go east side for dim sum, this is a suitable place.

It felt very traditional, especially with the lazy Susan's and being able to eat family style Chinese dinner. Every dish we ordered was large and perfect for a large family. Very flavourful, too! This Saturday morning, we went for dim sum with a few friends. I loved that they had carts going around. We arrived right at opening with many other guests, but were promptly serviced. We're all from more Asian areas so it's so nostalgic to sit and speak Cantonese. I was impressed with all of the food. They don't have as many options as other restaurants, but they do have all the basics (har gow, siu mai, cheung fun) that you need. And they were incredibly tasty!! The egg tarts especially were so perfect and flaky. I'm excited for them to become more popular.

We ordered a variety of dishes including Cantonese beef chow fun, shrimp green beans, fish maw soup, and some stewed beef. The beef chow fun was a bit too dry in my option, there are definitely better options in Portland for this dish. However, the green beans were stir fried perfectly and were super crispy. I absolutely love a good fish maw soup, and this one was generous in the ingredients! The medium was more than enough for multiple bowls for the three of us. Finally, my favorite, the stewed beef, or ngau zap. It came still bubbling and hot, but the flavors hit the spot. The beef was tender and it paired really well with rice. Can't say much about their dim sum, since it has been quite a while since I've had it, but I'll be back soon to try it!

In this area, there are only 2 dim sum places (the other being Excellent Cuisine...apparently it's the same owner). There are 2 other dim sum places in the Beaverton area but they don't have carts. We arrived at 10:30 a.m. on a Saturday morning and the restaurant was about 2/3rds full. By 11 a.m. it's full and you will need to put your name on the wait list. Service is your usual...loud, kind of rude but not overtly great service but that's to be expected. Most of the ladies spoke Cantonese and Toisan. When you're ready to pay, you have to take your check to the counter and pay there. Food wise, it's legit. It doesn't have the same level of options that I'm accustomed (Los Angeles/Monterey Park) to but their staple dishes like ha how, siu mai, fung jow, dahn taht, hom sui gok were pretty good. But the food from the carts came out hot and fresh. If I'm back in the area again and need to satisfy my dim sum craving, I'd definitely come back.

The place was full of hungry locals and tourists but was uncustomarily quiet and calm. From the hostess that seated us, to the waitress and servers, all staff and management were extremely polite, positive and helpful. We were starving. So we ordered 3 entrees and side of Dry-fried String beans. The Green Beans were cooked perfectly and the serving size was generous! One of our new favorites is the Mongolian Chicken. Is not a spicy Chinese food dish but the moist chicken and seasonings produced a yummy & comfort food level dish! As usual, the lightly battered & deveined Butterfly prepared Salt & Pepper Shrimp was mouthwatering, with every bite. As the last entree to be served. The ten Chicken & Vegetable Dumplings were fresh and flavorful. Needless to say, with only 2 patrons eating lunch with 3 heaping entrees plus Dry-fried String beans and white rice - we took home 2 more meals worth of Chinese food leftovers. The service was kind of weird/awkward about IDing us for drinks. I assured her I was happy to grab my ID and she was kind of rude, alluding to the fact I look old and she doesn't need it haha. As our food started to come, our friend noticed a long black hair in the chicken dumplings. We notified our server and she investigated the dish on our table. This rubbed us all the wrong way because you should believe your customer and take the plate from the table and maybe exam it in the back/kitchen? We didn't like the hair deter us and everything was truly delicious. We had pork soup buns (good, but not very soup-y), pork wontons in chili oil (yum!), chicken potstickers (probably my favorite), spicy chow mein (delicious), the dry fried green beans (so good)! We were stuffed. I ended up telling the server that we wouldn't need the new chicken dumplings and she was very rude and taken back by that. I feel bad to inconvenience them, but none of it would've happened if there wasn't a hair in the food? There were other small, rude things our server did but ultimately, it didn't ruin our night or take away from the delicious food! I would recommend the restaurant with the warning that the service is lackluster.
