There's no line to order but a lonnnggg line to get your product... 0_o 2. the barista made me a drink that was not what I ordered (I ordered coconut lychee with boba and was made coconut with popping boba). Disgusting 3. I went back to confirm the mistake was not on my end, and met with mini aggression. Having to pour out my drink to convince the barista he didn't make the drink that was ordered Rather than being willing to fix the error, I was met complete disregard by a combative ill temper barista who scrutinized me amongst judging eyes. Not putting any effort in remaking the second drink which took just as long. I hope your business use this review to teach your workers to treat all costumers equal. I guess you could say my iced roasted oolong milk tea was PreTea average... There was very little oolong flavor and lacked that smokey roasted taste as well. Tasted more like jasmine milk tea honestly. It didn't taste bad, but wasn't what I was expecting. It was also a bit watered down. In addition, the "smoothies" are basically snow cones in liquid form (syrup + ice) without actual fruit. I wanted refreshing citrus drink, and calamansi mango caught my attention - I've never heard of it before... image looked like like crossed with orange. I was peeling like a snake from sun burn, and benefit to skin I was sold. Be forewarned it's 24 oz... and for $5 that's super cheap. Every food cart pod needs a dedicated bubble tea cart. PreTea did not disappoint! They have a small selection of "premium" teas and I'm so happy they offer iced genmaicha! While not mentioned on the drink board, you can ask them to control the sweetness. I always shoot for "25% sweetness". They aced it! One size cups only and I appreciate that it wasn't packed full of ice. They also have syrup slushies if you're looking for something fruitier. When I went it was a bit of a wait, I think they didn't expect the Saturday sunny day crowds. Constant stream of people coming up to the cart. Very rude service. I was waiting nearby the whole time they told me that my drink was given to somebody else and then asked me if maybe one of my friends picked it up. If a customer complains about not getting their drink and tells him that they were here the whole time and I'm certain that they did not call then the drink should be replaced immediately without blaming the customer. Boba with various toppings and forms as in milk teas, smoothie, and slushie. You can add I think up to 3 toppings for an extra charge as it comes with two which is a plus compared to other boba places. They have popping bubbles which is the same that you find from froyo places, which I haven't seen at other boba shops too. The prices start at $4.65 which is a bit odd but the drinks were good. Even on a cloudy day there were quite a few people getting boba but the service was fast and the employee was very nice in answering the questions we had. PreTea sells bubble tea, slushies and smoothies. the bubble tea selection lets you pick between 4 bases like classic black tea, jasmine or thai. The menu is a little bit complicated to figure out but the bubble tea basically comes with 2 addons already built into the price. those are regular tapioca, flavored jellies and flavored popping bubbles. the price is around $4 to 5 and the quality of the tea is fairly good and better than places that use powders. read more

This cart is located on the north side of BG's Food Cartel. We tried the #1 Original milk tea ($4.65) and #3 Roasted oolong ($4.50) with bubbles and grass jelly. The listed menu price includes 2 toppings and what I would consider a "large" size, which makes it cheaper than most bubble tea shops in the area. Both have a nice tea flavor. If you don't like your tea very sweet, this is the place for you! We did not specify sweetness, so I assume it was 100%, and they were definitely less sweet than other places. I usually order 75% sweet, and this was less sweet than that. It would have been ok if the boba were sweetened, but they weren't. I also like my milk teas creamy, and I would rate these half-creamy. Came here yesterday after eating a late lunch. My friends went to the Ruby Jewel cart (yes, there is one in the BG food carts in Beaverton). I opted to try this place as I was thirsty. I ordered the Roasted oolong milk tea with boba at a 25% sweetness. The drink did its job. The milk tea was not too heavy and had a nice taste. I liked that the 25% sweetness was light and did not actually taste sweet at all (personal preference). Ther boba was nice and chewy. I will have to try some of the other items here next time I visit these carts. read more

I've been to Pre Tea a few times. It's a great option if you're craving bubble tea and have missed your Max or are here at the carts for food. The tapioca is consistently good - not too soft and not too hard. I always get a black milk tea or a Thai milk tea. It's not super milky but the tea flavor is there and it does the job. I am not a huge fan of fruit flavors in my tea so I can't comment on those. I like this place because it's convenient and quick. I've never waited long here unlike those other brick and mortar stores with long lines and waits. read more

Worst Taro Milk Tea I've ever had. My Tea taro was served BROWN! What kind of place does that? And to make it worst, it didn't even taste like Taro at all. Lived in Taiwan and Asia for 10years, I have tried so many bubble teas and their milk tea reminds me of those I had in Taiwan and Asia. Handcraft loose tea leaves blended by themselves, it has a great tea taste with smoothness of milk. Boba is so well cooked! There is a line everytime I go but they are really fast! Sweetness is JUST NICE too! Owner is Taiwanese and he is so friendly. Price includes the boba jellies or popping boba so it is really cheap and yet high quality!
