Went in today to grab a couple of hot milk teas prior to hopping on the max. The young Asian cashier at the front with blonde dyed hair had a miserable attitude and had even worse customer service. The milk teas ended up decent but definitely below average. I would rather go anywhere in Hillsboro to grab milk teas other than Sharetea. Makes sense why it was dead. Do not come here. read more

I've been a fan of Sharetea ever since I lived in Seattle over 5 years ago and this location meets all the standards that you would expect from this business. The employees are nice and know their menu really well if you need any recommendations or have any questions about the drinks. They are also super quick! One of the best things about Sharetea is the variety of drinks on their menu and the ability to specialize your drinks in different ways such as ice level and sweetness level. Despite the Covid-19 social distancing restrictions, Sharetea at Orenco Statiom managed to open and seems to be doing fairly well given the circumstances. There's usually one or two people waiting for their drinks whenever I pass by. I hope they're able to survive through this because I've been waiting for this to open for a while! This particular location is smaller than the Beaverton one, but the store layout facilitates an efficient experience. You walk in and veer left to order. There's a big menu at eye level in addition to the overhead displays. You order from behind a taped down line and then step up to pay. While waiting, you can either go outside or stand on one of the x's marked on the floor. You can also call ahead or order through GrubHub (pickup and delivery). I recommend ordering ahead since it can take a few minutes to put a drink together. So far I've gotten the blended matcha with red beans and ice cream, the classic milk teas, and the qq happy family milk tea. Like the other locations, you can customize ice and sweetness levels which is great. I'm still not a huge fan of the non dairy creamer they use (I don't like it at other brands either) but between the boba places out in the Beaverton Hillsboro area I think they have the most consistent tapioca. I particularly liked this location over Beaverton because the staff were friendly when I went to pick up my orders. I've had some less friendly experiences at the other place. Why not five stars? Well, it's good bubble tea but still not the best I've had. Sometimes the tea is just very astringent (especially if you get it less sweet). I also find it a bit annoying that you have to add tapioca to a lot of the drinks (it's not there by default) and it costs $0.75, not $0.50 like other places. But overall, good location, hope they stick around! read more

Today was my first and last time visiting this Sharetea located near the Orenco Max Station. They were quite busy due to a Saturday market that was taking place just outside the shop. I ordered two mojitos, one lime and one peach. I asked for light ice and light sugar. The cashier told me the drinks couldn't be made light ice because they were blended. Ok, you're the boss. The label on both drinks read 80% sugar, which doesn't sound like light sugar. But I trusted them to know what they were doing. Unfortunately, both drinks tasted much TOO SWEET. Halfway thru my drink I found myself staring at a two inch dark hair inside my cup! Since the drinks are sealed before pick up, the hair was obviously added before pick up. This was disgusting and totally unacceptable. If the employees can't make drinks without adding their hair then they need to wear hair nets. Normally I believe in second chances but not in this case. Sharetea turned out to be "share hair". Yuck! read more

Convenient location. Good tasting Boba. Lively vibe. I had gone here on a weekday evening. There were 3 people in front of me - but it was always a moving crowd. There are tables to sit and wait while your order is being prepared. They here quite fast in getting my order out. There is a plethora of options on their menu. So their Top 10 list makes it easier to choose from their best. I noticed the Top 10 lost only after I ordered as it was on the back wall. I nonetheless enjoyed my boba. I had got the classic Pearl black milk tea. It could taste the black tea flavor. The sweetness was perfect for me. When you order you can choose the level of sweetness and level of ice. I just wish I had gone easier on ice as I ended having ice left after my drink was done. Next time! The staff are courteous and quick. The vibe is really good. The boba tastes good. The worst service. Will never be coming back to this location. First of all I start putting an order in on DoorDash and all of a sudden the location says closed. I called the location and they said they are open but closed to online orders. I walk into the location and I simply ask the guy Andrew behind the counter, could you tell me the name of that specific drink that's on your menu here? He stares at me and he says "I have no clue". He then used whatever brain he had and came around to the front side of the establishment to take a look at the menu. He said again I have no clue what that is. I would be guessing that it's such in such. I looked at all the workers and I ask how do you guys not know what is on this menu? They all say it is brand new menu to them as of today they have not been trained on the new menu and to make the drinks. seriously?! This is a cute little spot in Orenco--there's a parking garage right nearby, so don't need to stress if you can't find a spot on the street. Sharetea is my favorite for my everyday bubble tea needs. I like that sugar levels and ice levels are customizable because I like 30% sugar and less ice. They are always appropriately staffed and drinks are made really quickly no matter how busy it is, I have never had to wait longer than a couple minutes for a drink. It's ShareTea! For those who aren't too familiar, ShareTea is an international milk tea company that started in Taipei in 1992. It's pretty popular among west coast uni students. They have a fair selection of milk teas and drinks. If you're not the biggest tea fan, that's OK since they have some items like the Strawberry Lychee Blended Ice Cream and mojitos. If you're lactose intolerant, that's OK too since they usually use lactose free creamer (I would still check-in with the cashier). The mojitos are pretty sweet, so I like to take them home and spike them with some alcohol. Makes the summer here in Oregon a lot more bearable. As for the teas, you can adjust the sweetness on most of them except the Okinawa. My experience here has been consistent, but not amazing. However, I'm always wiling to drop by when it's close. The boba is a little hard for my liking. The taro milk tea has been a little clumpy now and then. If anything, I wish they would expand their menu to include floral milk teas like rose and lavender because you will not find those here. read more

When I went in to mention it, they told me that they were unable to fix it because the icee level needed to be specified, which it clearly was. I would not recommend getting your boba here unless you want to be ripped off. You aren't allowed to ask for no ice which says enough in itself. I came here today around 2pm on 11/10./2020. The girls at the front one is Asian and another one is probably Mexican/Hispanic were not friendly. I felt like as if the cashier girl was having a bad day and the second person who hand out the drinks had to ask I need straws. I understand it's a new trend to used your own straws if I had any. I'm already paying for toppings that cost more than any other location and I was still kind to tip cash so the workers don't get tax. I visited this location twice the last two weeks and have not been super satisfied with the service. The first time i called in ahead of time and ordered 5+ drinks. I thought they would have carriers for the drinks but they didn't so I paid the cashier for a bag. After paying for the bag, I had to ask the cashier for the bag again despite just having to pay for the bag. I waited in the store a good amount of time despite calling 20 minutes ahead of time. Second time I visited, they said they ran out of boba and it would take at least 10-15 minutes to make. I then ordered my drinks without boba and paid for a bag. And again, the same thing with the bag incident from my previous visit in which I had to repeatedly ask for a bag that I just paid for. I had to wait almost 15 minutes for my 4 drinks despite being the only one in the boba shop. The service is just slow and the drinks are mediocre. read more

The worst service i have ever experienced. I came here today with my mom and sister, we were not greeted, and felt rushed to order as soon as i walked in. I asked the cashier what on the menu didn't have dairy in it because I'm vegan and she replied that anything with milk was made with dairy free creamer. I ordered a regular milk tea and then my sister ordered a blended beverage, then I changed my order to a matcha tea without realizing that another employee had already begun to make the drink I had already ordered. I immediately apologized and neither of the girls looked up at me or said anything. Then, when the girl handed me the matcha, she told me that it had whole milk in it and asked me if that was okay. I was extremely flustered at this point since i had told them i couldn't have dairy, and told her I couldn't have dairy and that I'd just take the one that she originally made and that I was sorry. Again, neither of the girls said anything. My mom asked if there was a difference that she would need to pay for and the cashier said rudely "it's fine." (Even though they were the same price). We were not greeted or thanked once, even after my mom verbally chose to leave a tip. I'm usually not one to leave bad reviews but their rude stares and complete lack of courtesy/ any attempt at friendly conversation or to accommodate me as a customer left a terrible taste in my mouth that honestly ruined my day.
