I'm loving the Dutch H2O kick that I'm on. Trying to drink more water this has helped me tremendously. I can curate the flavors and use sugar free options as well. Sometimes I'll add boba for an extra burst of flavor. Stawberry, coconut with a splash of coconut milk add strawberry boba or blue raspberry coconut milk and blue raspberry boba are a couple of my faves. They can make it with any flavor you wish. This Dutch is slower than any location I've been to in quite a long while. It took over 10 minutes pulling in at 10:30 in the morning, to driving off. It could be the location is understaffed, but i don't think it was. I saw plenty of employees. Four of the Dutch employees wearing visibility vests were available to take orders in the lot; instead there was a lot of chit-chatting going on through the walk up order window between the employees in the lot, and those in the booth... all the while the line continued to grow. When pulling up to the booth window to receive my coffee I was not acknowledged beyond "here's your coffee". My usual locations W. Burnside and Raleigh Hills on Beaverton Hillsdale Highway are not only more organized and expeditious, but the employees are extremely personable, and I always leave feeling special, and seen... they are worth every penny for what now is quite spendy coffee. Usually my go to location since it's close by to me but today they really dropped the ball. Wasn't crazy busy when I arrived but became the usual line out the parking lot overflowing towards the Freddy's gas station and LA fitness after I was a few cars away from the window. I arrived at the window waiting for my 2 lemonades and I'm told it'll be right up, ended up waiting about 5 minutes at the window as I over hear the workers talking about work and whatnot and how some of the staff aren't from this location but another helping out. I eventually hear as I'm getting annoyed about waiting "Has anyone gotten the two lemonades for left window?" Then just silence for a few seconds and then one girl says she "didn't see the order clamped there" and then they finally started my drinks. Got home with my take out food from somewhere else and my lemonades and my tropical lemonade is way too tart and the strawberry peach lemonade was only lemonade with no strawberry or peach at all. I understand socializing at work is fine and all but if socializing is getting in the way of missing orders and getting them wrong maybe it's best to not chit chat so much and lock in a little bit to get through the rush. read more

Where do I begin? Firstly, I'm not a coffee fan, don't care for coffee, but am surrounded by coffee enthusiasts. So when they asked for Dutch Bros, that's where we went. This particular location had a wonderful host named Jocelyn. Jocelyn was personable, friendly, and super helpful. She suggested a few drinks my group should try, and no one was disappointed. My partner loved her vanilla latte, and the other folks enjoyed their mixed I don't know what. Regardless, it is fair to say Dutch Bros is not all hype, and Jocelyn was a superstar. Thanks for such a pleasant experience. We will absolutely be back in our next trip to PDX! read more

So, I don't drink coffee...in fact, I hate coffee... I am constantly with friends who say the words, "Let's go to...**insert coffee place name here**" as I roll my eyes. In recent years though more places have something smoothie related for those of us who don't drink coffee or tea! I am so grateful when I encounter that. Recently Starbucks took their smoothies off the menu really pissing me off since I have a lot of friends who suggest them since they are everywhere. I get a ride into work with a friend for once since I was going to the airport straight from the office and she wanted Dutch Bros. When I said that I actually don't really drink coffee and she jokes that they don't really serve coffee so I was in luck. Sure enough - they have more non coffee items than coffee! Wild berry smoothie of deliciousness and a lemon poppyseed "muffin top" - freaking delicious and addicting! Now every morning I go in I have a hesitating moment as I drive past the Dutch Bros. I am so grateful to that friend though since I now know when I can grab delicious smoothies on the go when I need a pick me up! I will say the customer service was also incredible. First visit to Dutch Bros. At 3pm on a Sunday there was a very long line, but we weren't in a hurry and decided that must mean it's going to be good. . Staff members were taking orders at each car in the line ahead of the window to save time. Very friendly staff! The only downfall is that if you don't already know the menu you can't really see much of the menu board from the line...we just had to get info and suggestions from him. When he found out we were first-timers he gave us our order on the house! Very nice, and a smart way to encourage repeat business. Besides our coffees, we opted for a couple of muffin tops. **Disclaimer--While I used to be a Gold Card member @ Starbucks, I am not, nor will ever be in the "Dutch Army"** I am not exactly sure when, but in the past year or so I was walking around the Tualatin Hills Nature Park. I was trying to focus in on a squirrel/hedgehog etc in the brush and my eyes noticed something under a leaf. I picked it up and it was a Dutch Brothers stamp card. Not only that, but it was full. There was nobody in sight and didn't have the owners phone number in it, so I took it and thought I would use it on the weekend. ***Fast forward to today** I had to make a trip to Fred Meyer for gas etc, so I decided to wait in line at DB to get the card out of my wallet. The dude taking my order before the window was nice enough. Aside from calling me "Boss", he suggested that I get an extra shot + whipped cream to max out my benefit. The drink I got was an iced carmalizer.. Sadly it did not live up to its name. It did not taste like caramel and strangely enough hardly tasted like coffee. The extra shot of "Americano" probably watered the drink down more. I was imagining a blended drink, but I did ask for it iced, so that was my error. It has been a while since I've visited any Dutch Bros. The main reason is that when I go somewhere for coffee, I like to sit there and enjoy my drink rather than get it and go. While there are a few Dutch Bros with indoor seating, most of them are kiosks where you either drive thru or walk up and order at the window. A few locations have some picnic tables outside. But basically you get your order and go. The other reason is their coffee doesn't have enough flavor for me. It always tastes watered down. I do like their smoothies and some of their foo foo drinks. My friend and I visited this Dutch Bros this morning using their walk up window. The drive thru was very busy with about ten cars in line. We were greeted at the window by a friendly employee. They do not accept cash at this time. My friend had a difficult time reading their purchase screen because it wasn't close to the window. The cashier was holding the screen and couldn't seem able to hold it near the window for him to see. I prefer to leave cash for tips but since they aren't accepting any cash, you are forced to leave the tip on your card. My friend loved his Amaretto Breve. I ordered the Mango smoothie that I have enjoyed many times in the past. Unfortunately it was not blended well so it was just liquid with large chunks of ice. Next time I will ask for it to be double blended. Service is friendly and quick even when they are busy. This location is open 24 hours. read more

Amazing customer service but the wait is atrocious. Just went for 2 iced lattes and had to wait 30 minutes in line before I even made it to the window. Usually my drinks come out good but whenever I order sf for my diabetic boyfriend more than half the time it's definitely not sugar free. I used to work at a Dutch bros in Portland and was visiting from California. I ordered a can blended rebel with lemonade concentrate and they messed up my order. It tastes like they gave me a drink with half rebel and half lemonade juice. The guy outside that took it order was super nice. Tell me why Dutch Bros has made it to all the neighboring states around CA, but there isn't one located around where I'm from in CA?! When I see Dutch Bros in OR, AZ, or NV, I feel so deprived and binge on their lattes during my stays in those states. It's a coffee chain that the rest of CA doesn't know it's missing! I have a cousin whom I come out to visit in Forest Grove, OR. There are a few nearby Dutch Bros around Forest Grove and Hilsboro, but this franchise location happened to be on the way to the Woodburn Outlets. What I love about Dutch Bros is the drive-thru convenience. Sometimes I just don't feel like getting out of the car, you know? And even if there's a long line of cars, Dutch Bros is pretty efficient in taking orders. They have employees walk up to drivers' side windows with their handy dandy, portable POS systems and place orders directly from the car. Also there are 2 pickup windows at every Dutch Bros establishment, so there are 2 flows of traffic going at the same time. This franchise location was pretty busy this morning, but between ordering and pick up, it was probably a 5-7 minute wait. Why I love Dutch Bros so much is their variety of syrups. Their menu is huge, and there are so many custom flavors to choose from. Today I got a banana bread latte with almond milk, and the taste was spot on. The customer service at this franchise location was great. The employees whom we interacted with were super friendly and extra cheerful really early in the morning. Very friendly, but for the love of Pete people do have places to go! They just keep talking! Not making drinks, just chatting with customers. I was third in line and it's been 29 minutes. Why? They're just chatting with cars. I appreciate the small talk, the make you feel welcome but it becomes excessive! It was almost unbelievable to watch them just sit in the window talking with people while the line wraps and they're not helping them!! You gotta find the balance of hospitality and excessive!
