Where do I go for bubble waffles now that Happy Lemon has closed??!!?? I miss Jasmine green tea and bubble waffles!

I like Happy Lemon. I first tried the Strawberry Black Tea with Lychee Jelly. I requested it with half lychee jelly and half boba, and I enjoyed it. Then, the Freshly Squeezed Lemon Black Tea with boba and less ice became my go to drink. It had a good amount of lemon flavor, and the tea was both sweet and a little tart. I liked the flavor of the boba, but the texture has been inconsistent. Sometimes it's perfect and other times it seems slightly overcooked. That's why I rate the drinks as 4 stars instead of 5 stars. The service has been consistently 4 stars as the drinks were prepared quickly even if there was a line. The space can feel small if there are other customers waiting with limited seating. It's a good boba spot if you need a refreshing drink while you shop. read more

Happy Lemon is a cute little spot in Bridgeport that has a very large drink menu. They have multiple flavors of boba, if you're into that. We ordered a strawberry matcha latte and milk tea with Oreo and puff cream. We were given the option to adjust the ice level and sweetness level for both drinks, which was appreciated. There are very few seats inside, but we managed to snag the single table. I think it was a bit expensive for what we got, but I would still return. read more

Happy lemon is a go-to spot for delicious and refreshing boba drinks. One thing to note is that this location is very small and can be busy on the weekends. I got the mango lemon slush with boba and it had a perfect balance of tart lemon flavor and sweet mango flavor. My boyfriend got the new dragonfruit lychee drink with salted cheese and it was nicely creamy and fruity. read more

This my second time visiting Happy Lemon and I have loved it both times! This location is in a really nice area, but doesn't have much room inside to sit-just one table and a small couch. I had to wait a few minutes for my order to be taken, but my drink came out quickly. I ordered my drink 50% sweet but felt like it was still a little too sweet so if you're someone who doesn't want it too sweet I'd definitely go with 30% sweet. I love this location and will be back! read more

Gluten free/Dairy free: I have walked by and wanted to go in. I am not someone who can do caffeine after 12 and usually when I'm walking by its way after 12. This time I walked in a little bit earlier. I was surprised to find they had a menu to cater to those who don't want caffeine or dairy. I was so grateful for that. The gal behind the counter was very kind and patient. There's not a whole lot of seating however usually you grab a drink and walk around because there's a lot of seating outside . I would say if you're near the area stop by, even if it's after 12. read more

Happy lemon is a fan favorite of mine for boba and alike drinks! They always have new and interesting flavor options however I stay pretty basic and love their milk tea and also any lemonade no matter the weather outside. The employees are always helpful and can pretty much make any adjustments to sweetness, add ins or ice level! There is very limited seating- a small loveseat and two chair with a table. Probably not the best spot to meet up friends. read more

Happy Lemon is having a collab with Genshin Impact which is cool. Their special drinks and genshin merch combo was pretty expensive. Definitely not worth it for the price. However, the drinks itself were good. Got 2 of the Tea-ppucchino with Sky Cream and Oreos and also a classic brown sugar boba. Drinks came out quickly even though they were pretty busy. read more

I have had a wonderful experience at Happy Lemon before my visit today, but today it was a different story. The last time I was here the line was out the door. Today when my 10 year old son and I came in the door, the workers were all standing around in the back. We were the only customers in the store and there was no greeting just blank stares. One of their registers had an out order sign on it so we stood there thinking they must be closed and at any moment the workers would tell us that was why there was no one else in the store. That wasn't the case. I decided to break the silence and exclaimed "Well hello there and I hope you all are having a wonderful day!" Apparently that broke their trance and after I looked around to see who would greet us and take our order, they seemed to get it and said we would need to use the touchpad to order. After that they made our drinks and called our number once they were ready. The product was as wonderful as I remember, however, the rating is for the service. I'm not sure if they experiences a staff turnover where everyone quits and they have to rehire a new team but I expected the happy smiling, gregarious I am used to. This is probably a fluke in personnel but I'll be back to confirm. read more

Multiple people have told me I needed to visit Happy Lemon, and I'm so glad I finally did. I def recommend cutting down on the sugar level tho. The boba was fantastic, but it was pretty sweet, even though I got 70% sweetness. read more

Short: taste 4 star customer service 2 star. Extensive menu so you really need to read and be careful when ordering. Visited first week of August '23 [Menu] menu is not user friendly. Lots of text and pre made combos with extras like boba or "puff" which is basically a thicker cream/crema [Service] after looking for a while of the menu, since I never been to a happy lemon. I finally decided what I'd order. Well... The guy at the register really was rushing for me to finish ordering. I didn't even finish my order an he already asked twice in a rush voice "is that it? Is that all?" which I didn't appreciate - causing me not able to check that he gave me the wrong puff to my drink. That really frustrated me. [price] for 2 drinks one with puff - $16. Pretty pricey. [Taste] I got the Ube fresh milk and it was seriously so delicious. [Additional note about service] I did ask if they would be open later and said they would - they closed around 7pm.. So I wasn't able to get a drink for my mother. read more

So happy to find this place as we are originally from the Eastside of Seattle and frequented Happy Lemon ALLOT! Like too much allot . Their bubble waffles don't compare to anything else and their dipping sauces . Their teas also make any other bubble tea company pale in comparison. I really wish they weren't so far away and in Vancouver, WA or at least downtown PDX so we had the opportunity to frequent them more often. PLEASE BRING A HAPPY LEMON TO THE DOWNTOWN VANCOUVER WATERFRONT! read more

We stopped in here to grab a boba; they have many options. It took awhile for them to take our order but maybe we were standing in the wrong spot? Siegel did ask us about our preference for sweetness an offer to customize the drinks to our liking. read more

Happy Lemon is one of my favorite places to grab boba and bubble waffles so I always stop here before leaving Bridgeport Village. The drinks always taste great and the waffle is such a good snack especially with one of the dipping sauces. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that it seems like about an hour before their closing time they start to clean up for the day and start to limit menu items. Certain drinks/snacks become "unavailable" and they also put the seating away. read more

Taking off one star because there are definitely some drinks that are just ok. That being said, I LOVE the mango matcha smoothie. I usually get it with soy or almond milk and mango crystal boba. Also really appreciate the milk alternatives here :) read more

Yummy boba & treats | great location We're pretty happy to have Happy Lemon at Bridgeport. Sometimes we don't even shop at the outdoor mall and come here specifically for Happy Lemon. It's also a favorite with our toddler. Here is our go-to order: Matcha latte with salted cheese (regular size, regular sweet level) Black tea with salted cheese (large size, 50% sweet level) Matcha and redbean bubble waffle Chocolate bubble waffle The matcha latte with salted cheese is exactly how I like it. It's not overly sweet, just right. I feel like if you want to have more of a bitter taste, change the level of sweetness. The black tea with salted cheese is great with 50% sweet level as well. Not too sweet. We love the bubble waffles too! I feel like the bubbles are equivalent to a good bite. My daughter loves these. The matcha and redbean is a good combo. If you're looking to grab boba and run errands, pull up curbside right outside the store. You can park for about 10 minutes. They also sell cute pins and have a reward point system tied to your cell number. read more

This was my first time trying Happy Lemon and I think this is one of my favorite places for boba now! We all got the Ube with fresh milk and taro balls and all enjoyed it. The taste was really unique. I thought it was going to be a milky drink but it was thicker. The taro balls are like boba but softer and less chewy with taro flavor. It's pricier than other boba places but not horrible if you go once in a while. Looking forward to trying other drinks on the menu. read more

Happy Lemon - Ube Fresh Milk with Taro Ball $6.75 - Bubble Tea Near Me - Tigard, Oregon

We first discovered HAPPY LEMON in Seattle, and were blown away by their Ube milk tea with taro pearls and bubble waffles. So we were pleasantly surprised to find a store in the Tualatin area. We ordered Ube milk tea with taro pearls, a dark brown sugar boba milk tea, and two bubble waffles. All tasted really great. We ordered 1/2 sugar and 1/2 ice on our milk teas and they turned out as expected. The bubble waffles were crunchy on the outside and soft in the inside, and were delicious! Overall, I'm really impressed by HAPPY LEMON. it makes very decent and authentic milk tea, and it's now my go to bubble tea place! I would definitely recommend it!! read more

Sometimes I'm in the area and have to resist the urge to visit this particular location after being disappointed so many times. Inside is very small with a couch and table. Workers don't really know what they're doing. Drinks are made inconsistent. Most recently gave us regular boba instead of mango crystal boba and fixed the issue by pouring the drink from the original cup with regular boba into a new cup with mango crystal boba. The new cup wasn't full and taste was ruined with remnants of regular boba. read more

I've been to many other happy lemons and I have to say this one is a bit disappointing. The drinks were just not that great and the place had very sticky floors which felt very uncomfortable. The strawberry drink didn't have much of a strawberry taste to it and the seeds were very annoying to drink. I would likely not come here again unless I really craved boba and was shopping around bridgeport. read more

Love Boba & decided I'd wander around since it was such a sunny day! We tried this location. I ordered their "fave drinks." There's a giant sign standing indoors that has their most popular ones. I ordered #1 & #2 overall they're pretty good. The only bummer was it was around 1PM & they were out of the ALL waffles. I also bought 2 cute pins as well. Would I return? Yes & I hope they have Chocolate Waffle. read more

This the season when you might just want a hot lemon & honey tea! I ordered one of these today, and it was perfect! You can order it without any added sugar (since the honey is sweet enough) I was delighted to find this drink, when other family members wanted iced boba on a cold day (no thanks) Now I know that I can come here in the winter and choose from a wide variety of hot teas too. read more

4.5 stars if I could! These Happy Lemon shops are truly popping up all over the country! I have had my fair share of the Happy Lemon menu and this one unfortunately doesn't have as many drinks as other locations. This one has a pretty limited menu, but if you love the classics like Salted Cheese or Mango Matcha, you'll be fine. Since they didn't have my usual Mango Green Tea witth Mango boba... I opted for a Jasmine Green Tea with Salted Cheese Foam. I got it 100% sweet, but it actually wasn't very sweet. It had a great jasmine tea flavor and balanced well with the salted cheese. Although this location has a much smaller menu, this will still hit the spot if you're in the area and craving some good tea! read more

Go for the lemon items, puff waffles, and try some new things. I did, and it was worth it. I am a a big fan of boba, jellies, puff waffles, good tea, lemon flavored things and now I am also a fan of salty tea. This cheese thing had me but I figured since it's what they're known for, I ought to try it out. Now I'm . I definitely need to be in the mood for any type of new thing but this was a pleasant surprise. I like salted caramel, salted chocolate, and now salt cheese with my Happy Lemon drinks too. Never know til ya try! The packaging of the puff waffles is so cute. I was first struck by the texture of the waffle. It was smooth & shiny on one side and soft on the other. I don't know if this was intended or just a result of me not eating it immediately (whoops) but I was awesome anyway. My favorite is chocolate. Then, after looking at the yellow paper more carefully, I was so happy because little details like that are memorable. I have been back a few times and the quality is consistent and I'll definitely be attempting to become a regular from here on out. It's just too good. read more

Always always good! I love happy lemon! My go to is always the salted cheese black tea with either honey boba or crystal boba if I'm feeling like I won't finish the drink in one sitting. Instead of the boba getting all hard and inedible in the fridge, the crystal boba retains the same bounciness! Recently also tried a yakult slushie as well as some fruit teas which were good too. The staff are always kind too! read more

I have never left a review like this but wow they are super rude here. I was so excited to try this! I got here at 7:25 pm and they refused to make a waffle because "we stop at 7:30 and someone else just ordered ahead of you". They close at 8pm. Then they both laughed at me. I cancelled my other dessert order because I wanted to go here! All my other friends got their dessert except me. Sad night. Don't recommend. read more

Overall: Meh, pretty average bubble tea place. Atmosphere (4/5): Due to COVID there was no i door seating which is fine since it's pretty small anyways. However, the place smelled SO GOOD because of the waffles that they make. Food/Drinks (3/5): I tried the milk tea with pudding and lychee jelly. The drinks were not bad but I've definitely had better. They're signature drinks are the ones that include the cheese but I was too scared to try them. Service (3/5): Didn't even get greeted. Very bland encounter. read more

Nice treat! I tried a chocolate bubble waffle plain and an iced milk tea with salted cheese and it was amazing! I didn't adjust the sugar or anything. Eat that bubble waffle in one sitting. I wrapped up half and tried to eat it later and it was not crispy any more. Learn from mistakes! Eat it alllll. I went in on a Tuesday and it was quiet. Happy Lemon is probably my new favorite bubble tea spot now! It was my first time coming in and the cashier was really helpful in answering my questions and giving recommendations. The service was quick and overall 5/5. I ended up getting a Jasmine Green Tea with Salted Cheese and pudding, as well as an original bubble waffle with salted cheese dip. The tea wasn't too strong and not too sweet since I cut down the sugar to 70% so it was perfect. My boss at our Chinese restaurant recommended to drink the tea with cheese foam like this: don't mix the cheese foam in the tea yet. First take a drink of the tea with the straw, then take the small topper off and sip the cheese foam after each sip of tea. This way you can really taste the tea and the cheese foam together, as opposed to mixing everything and mostly tasting cheese foam. As you keep drinking, the cheese foam with gradually mix with the tea so in the end it'll get mixed anyways. The bubble waffle was warm and crispy with some soft dough on the inside. It tasted so good when dipped with the cheese foam. I didn't know we could do that until the cashier asked me if I wanted the salted cheese foam with the waffle. I'll definitely come back to try the other waffle flavors! I'm also curious to know the difference between the salted cheese topping and the puff cream topping. The store was pretty clean and there were two small areas for sitting inside. The store had a very comfortable atmosphere and I'm just excited to come back and try a different drink flavor! read more

First location in Oregon that I know of. The drinks here are great, especially their lemon teas. It reminds me of being in BC drinking some fresh lemon tea while snacking. Their milk tea with taro balls are also tasty. The biffle waffle is also something that one should try. It's got a great texture and chewiness to it. read more

Cute little shop for a quick snack while shopping at Bridgeport. They have unique tea flavors. But what is really good here and a must have is the puffle waffle. This is one of my favorite boba shops! The drinks are perfectly sweet but allow for the true flavors of the tea to come through. The boba is also nice and chewy - you can tell they're made fresh! I've been here several times and tried many different drinks. You can't really go wrong but my favorites are the brown sugar boba milk tea (get less sugar since it's very sweet) and any of the lemon/grapefruit teas with lychee jelly. I've also tried the salted cheese tea and I'd recommend it if you haven't tried it before! I know it seems a little weird but it's more of a salted cream foam and it's a nice balance to the sweetness of the tea. I've also tried the waffle and it's fluffy and fun to eat. I got it with Oreo cream and this is a tasty combo. I'd recommend the waffles if you're in the mood for a sweet treat! read more
