A very good spot to get ramen and sushi in the upper west! I came with my family and we got some rolls to share and we each got a bowl of ramen. The sushi rolls were tasty and with the perfect amount of rice (not too much) - the table favorite was the crazy tuna. I got the salmon ramen and it was delicious! It was a big bowl so I had leftovers for another meal. The woman who served us was super attentive, and nice. The food came fast enough (we were all starving). I would say it's on the pricey side, especially the sushi rolls but a very solid place - definitely worth to try!

The sushi is very delicious. The crispy rice is dressed well - not what I was expecting but in a good way. Service was fast and our waiter was pleasant.

The warmest hospitality, they truly know how to greet everyone. Always feel so welcome whenever I come to this place. Finding good sushi is hard, and you always want to make sure you're eating good sushi when you go out. This place has nothing on the menu that does not taste good. I come here all the time and it is my go to spot now. Won't order anywhere else in the city. Definitely try this place

First things first, it's not authentic Japanese food at all. The ambiance (e.g. the interior artwork/design, as well as the ethnicity of the staff) isn't traditional nor is having items like Thai Tea on their menu. That being said, you do get a fair amount of food for your dollar here. Most entrees come with miso soup, and portions are generous. The sushi platter is quite tasty. I got the chicken katsu; while it was dry and flavorless (most of the flavor came from the tonkatsu sauce), it was breaded well. Probably wouldn't order again, but given the inexpensive cost and the portion sizes, it wasn't a bad deal either. I'd get the unagi don again if I came back. Staff is very friendly and accommodating.

What a great find! This was a small, casual, unassuming spot that had great quality sushi at fantastic prices. We did the omakase sushi for two and at $88, it was an amazing bargain. If included miso soup or edamame, miso black cod, 2 plates of sushi (9 pieces including toro), and a toro scallion roll. The sushi all tasted very fresh and we enjoyed every piece. We also got a side of hibachi fried rice, which was good as well. At these prices, you can't say no. Highly recommend!

We went back again to try the ramen since it was cold outside. The ramen and the udon noodle soup were so tasty. Most of all, the service and people there made you feel welcomed. If you haven't tried this place. You should! But my favorite so far is still the Hibachi

Mizu Sushi & Hibachi is a must try here in Manhattan. The food here is fantastic and each sushi is prepared fresh to order. I especially enjoyed the tuna avocado roll- one of the best roll combinations I tried. Other dishes I would recommend is the tonkatsu ramen, crab cake, and uni sushi. The service here is also incredible, the owner greeted us warmly.

Went on a casual date with my bubby here and left here soooo happy and content!!! Food was amazing!! We ordered: (Appetizer) Spicy Salmon Sushi Pizza 10/10 $13.50 Akamaru Modern Ramen 10/10 $17 Ichiban Roll (10pcs) 9/10 $16.50 Mio Sparkling Sake (bottle) 10/10 $27.00 I'm a very picky eater but I can assure you anything from this restaurant is good! The waitress was so sweet and made sure we had enough water. Overall spectacular service! Will definitely come here again! Oh we even got to buy their chapsticks! So happy

tldr; heaven among the best sushi in NYC We ordered the sushi combo for two and it was unbelievable quality, portion, and creativity for $58. The experience was akin to what you get at omakase at an unbeatable pricepoint. We didn't have a reservation but were able to get seated around 8pm after a few minutes. We placed our order promptly and our food also came out promptly at peak hour. We left stuffed, satisfied, and flabbergasted at how good it was (shoutout to the seared salmon+ikura and the tuna+toro+truffle nigiris). We'll be back very very soon!

First, the name - I was wondering if this was a chain since I know one in Fort Lee, and a new one sprang up on 9W/Sylvan Ave. in Englewood Cliffs... and the lady told me they're all independently owned under same "theme/name." Ok, now that we got that out of the way... (asked nobody ever but still) THEY ARE BACK after closing for a month due to Coronavirus, now for a week. The owner lady told me people still think they're closed, so I wanna get the word out there to come SUPPORT your local business! PLACE - Bright and meticulously clean with well laid out menu items. Poke isn't on their circulated menu so took a picture with updated pricing. FOOD - I ordered Tuna poke and Spicy Salmon poke ($14 ea.) and I was not disappointed. There was a sushi chef on premise working with chunks of sashimi fish preparing orders. When I got home to eat, I noticed the fish was really fresh, with sensible usual poke toppings, and I love the fact that they actually use fresh chunks of salmon for their "Spicy Salmon" unlike many joints that cut corner by using the mashed up stuff with less fresh fish and fillers. They also veered towards light in terms of sriracha mayo and shoyu which preserved the taste just right, and I poured a bit of ponzu to suit my own taste. Portion was generous and came with a bowl of hot miso soup which was just perfect. Only minor feedback would be that rice was a bit blocky-cooler than I'd have liked so took wee bit more effort to eat together with the toppings... but not a big deal. With recent rise in delivery apps you might be tempted to (not even sure if they participate), but you know how they kill the restaurant's margin... So get off your butt and just go pick it up yourself... you need fresh air / groceries anyway right? :) Thank you for a delicious dinner and we'll be back.

The restaurant has an interesting history. Even though the original opened in Cresskill, NJ, it unfortunately has permanently closed. However, not only is the Edgewater location amazing, but it had the guts to open during COVID (2022), survived, and is succeeding. The restaurant is beautiful inside and outside. Their decorations are tasteful, the presentation of the food is award winning, and the service is stellar. I started with a Mocha Cappuccino and it was so good. Served in a large mug, an airy/creamy top, and had the perfect amount of mocha happiness throughout. Before the meal even started, we were graciously given Za'atar (a popular Middle Eastern spice blend with an earthy, tangy, and nutty flavor, toasted sesame seeds, and sumac, with salt). It was crunchy, drizzled with oil, and I enjoyed how each thin pita bite made the spices explode all over the table. The entrees were: Strawberry French Toast. The next was the Falafel Platter (chickpeas and fava bean balls, served with tahini sauce, pickles, turnips, tomato, and mint). The last selection was the Avocado Toast (Citrus cured salmon over multigrain bread, tomatoes, onions, capers & citrus vinaigrette). Not only were all of these dishes beautifully presented, but all were filling, as well. My Avocado Toast kept me full for the rest of the day and the salmon was enjoyably salty, thin, and delicious. I noticed a dessert in their display case and ordered it. The dessert was the Riz Bil Ashta (Lebanese rice cream, infused with orange blossom water, blended with milk and cheese, and topped with crushed pistachios). This dessert tasted like a regal custard and the pistachios added an enjoyable texture that makes it recommended. Of course, I had to cap the meal with a Mocchiato. This amazing beverage followed the rest of the meal..... delicious, eyes closed good, and every sip was full-flavored. Thank you, Madison Café and Grill, for presenting a memorable meal and I wish you continued success.

Hubby had the steak, they did not give option how you would like it and it arrived medium/well done. The portions were so tiny I was still hungry, for the price I honestly wish we went to omakase instead. Oh. And they automatically add 25% service. Owner is very friendly and service was polite but for the price it felt like we got robbed. Not sure we'll be back, really wanted to like it but the only memorable thing was the music and ambience. I felt compelled to review because I really wanted the owners to see this and make changes. The potential is there but with many restaurants around, there simply wasn't anything special. Pls be transparent to your guests and include info about prix fixe menu on reservation next time, and perhaps give your guests more value for the money. $150 should at least be 4-5 course for the size that was provided..
