The sushi was outstanding -- easily the best I've ever had. It is on the pricier side, but absolutely worth it for such a unique and special experience. Highly recommend for a memorable night out.

heard such good things about this place that i HAD to go…read moreluckily i had no issues getting reservations (they do have a strict cancellation policy where you have to cancel 72 hours before or have to pay a cancellation fee -which is just as much as if you went); unfortunately one of my friends was not able to make it due to a death in the family and the staff were very accommodating (if you have an odd amount of people, you have to pay another fee; but they were understanding and waived the fee - fortunately, we found another person to join us and we were a group of 4). the day before they give out the address ; luckily there is plenty of parking in front and on the side of the building the service by the staff has to be one of the top tier service i have ever received - their attention to detail and quality is A1; felt like I had a personal waiter. the atmosphere is very cozy & intimate ; it is BYOB but they do provided sea water if you wish it was 16 courses for $200 (they do not skimp out ; one of the biggest nigiris i've had in an omakase) - we started off with lobster miso soup , king crab fried rice, and had 12 pieces of sushi then ended with udon soup and chocolate from Peko's which had to be the BEST chocolate i've ever had (and i don't like chocolate). my favorite piece had to be the snapper the wagyu was the most disappointing not going to lie my friends thought the uni was mid but i personally liked the sweetness of it; same with the miso cod (cooked fish) if you pay in cash there is a discount (you do save a good amount; otherwise you do get charged 3% extra if you pay in card) overall, $200 is steep but honestly this was a good experience! out of the 16 courses , 12 were DELICIOUS while the other 4 were just ok... (miso soup, fried rice, wagyu & udon soup). i do recommend it to others but don't see myself personally coming back

The pasta was very creamy and enjoyed the flavor. As someone who loves steak and is picky with how I receive it, I had ordered a porterhouse Medium Rare, the first one we received was overcooked to medium well and our server second guessed me when I brought it to attention. He had to call over another worker to double check and we had to ask once again if we were able to get it redone to our liking before even getting it replaced right away. The second porterhouse we received was done correctly and was seasoned well and had enough fat to make it buttery and melty. Espresso Martini was made well and for Whiskey Sours, if you like them on the smokier side, I would recommend it. All in all, we enjoyed all the food but the only set back for us was that we had to wait a little longer for our steak which we wanted to pair with our pasta. By the time it came out correctly, our pasta was already cold.

We arrived right when they opened (perfect timing, especially with a snowstorm expected later that day), so the restaurant was still quiet. The space has a modern, upscale vibe that definitely feels suited for special occasions. It's located on a busy street, and while they do offer valet, we lucked out with free street parking since it was early. They offer a prix fixe brunch for $39 per person, which includes an appetizer, entrée, and dessert. It's a good way to experience the restaurant without committing to a full dinner price point--but be aware that quite a few items come with upcharges, and drinks are not included, so the bill can climb quickly. I do have a gluten allergy, and I was honestly surprised by how limited the gluten-free options were for a restaurant of this caliber. That said, I made it work: I started with a Bellini, had the sizzling slab of bacon as my appetizer, the recovery burger (no bun sub roasted potatoes as a side) as my main, and finished with the salted caramel gelato. Everything I had was enjoyable, but I would have appreciated more flexibility in the menu. The rest of the group (no dietary restrictions) had more variety to choose from and really enjoyed their meals, which is always a good sign. Service was attentive without being overbearing--likely helped by the fact that it wasn't too crowded yet--so we were able to relax and actually enjoy conversation, which made the celebration feel special. The restaurant also has a private back room that looks great for parties, plus a downstairs lounge area, which adds to its appeal as an event space. Overall, for me it's definitely more of a special occasion spot, and while the pricing is on the higher side for what you get, brunch feels like the best way to experience it. I'd come back again--but probably stick to brunch.

Claudia made sure she is on top of everything. From menu selection making it "personalized" by printing the celebrant's name on its menu list and making sure our requests were accommodated. She replied to all my e-mails right away. Our server Dejan is also wonderful - making us feel like we are VIPs! The staff are friendly and making sure our needs were all met. The brunch menu we had - presentation is 5 out of 5. The salmon, chicken wings and the empanada trio were a hit. Will rate them 5 out of 5 for the taste. Our BIG thank you to Claudia, Dejan and the rest of Ventanas Restaurant and Lounge staff for making this celebration so special.

Steak was cooked well to the Medium Rare temp that we like and was seasoned well. Calamari and shrimp were hot and crispy. Shishito peppers were spicy with a sweet and savory flavor to which I thought paired well with the steak. Broccolini were seasoned and cooked well with a salty and savory flavor. A5 Wagyu roll was very enjoyable but could have used just a bit more meat for the price. Maduros were way too sweet for our liking as they are already sweet itself, but they get drenched in a honey chili sauce as well. For the food we had received and price paid, we've definitely experienced better for cheaper. Felt as if the cost is also more for the ambiance and experience. The place is very nice and aesthetic with a live DJ on a Friday night, but tables and seating arrangements are very close to each other. Side note: Its common to go to restaurants where a party of 4 or more means auto gratuity added, but to be automatically charged 18% for only a party of 2? Thankfully, our server took care of us through the night. Just a heads up for anyone who prefers to tip based on service rather than a preset percentage on the bill.

It was just a typical breakfast menu vs the English breakfast menu they advertised on line. When we got in, we were the first customers in and the server came to ask if we wanted drinks right away. However, she became increasingly mia afterwards. After waiting around 30 minutes for eggs and bacon over some burnt cheap coffee, we got out plates which were nothing to write home about. The waitress checked in with us 0x until we were ready for the check and then thanked us for being patient as she was experiencing some anxiety today, though no apologies and nothing offered as compensation for the extreme lack of service. All in all, save your $ and head down elsewhere!

I thought It would be cool to go to Hamilton Heights close to my sons drop off, here to Hamilton Hall before we went to see the play Hamilton. My son and I had a burger which tasted standard and my friend felt the same way about her food. Maybe it was what we ordered . The drinks were good and on point. My friend and I had old fashioned and my son had a soda. It seems like a neighborhood bar, and staff seemed friendly. We went on a Sunday before 6PM and there were a few people in it. However, when I pass by it when I drop off my son later in the day it seems more livelier and full. This may be a better time to visit.
