This was my second time there and I was equally impressed both times with their Lunch specials... especially the Bento "box"... the presentation is beautiful and is very plentiful. The "Chef's Choice" sashimi was delightful. The place is modern with an upscale vibe. The service is attentive but not overbearing- we didn't feel rushed. I will return.

What a great spot for sushi! If you're looking for high quality sushi delivery, you've found the right place. Definitely on the pricier side but it's worth it. We also came here to dine in for lunch and really enjoyed it. The lunch sets are great! The inside feels like a trendy bar/Japanese place. Service was great. The restaurant is perfect for date night or a quick bite with friends.

High-quality fish and beautiful ambiance though be expected to wait for your table. My partner and I had made a reservation at 7:15PM and were disappointed not to be seated until closer to 7:45, nearly 30 minutes after we arrived. Although I appreciate that our host was apologetic and service once we were seated was nice, it would have felt better not to have waited - especially on such a cold winter night. In terms of the food we started off with the agedashi tofu and tuna tartare. Both were excellent and I especially liked the tartare, though you can upgrade to a version with uni and caviar if you're feeling fancy. The sushi (we did the two special roll combinations as well as a sushi dinner) was high-quality and fresh and we were pleased with the speed and quality of the rolls. We finished off with black sesame ice cream and were greeted with two large scoops of ice cream, in addition to a dollop of whipped cream. They also feature a rewards program which I thought was interesting. I'd recommend coming back and making a reservation on the earlier side so you're not waiting too long.

The trust me set was super filling and all the pieces were super fresh. The bangbang shrimp was perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Both cocktails were delicious and we were able to take ingredients out (ie. rosemary syrup) & ask for slight modifications:) The manager & waitor also checked in on us to make sure that everything was good. Overall, great service!

We've been to Sushi Bada several times now hoping to have better experiences because the food is amazing but unfortunately I don't think we will be giving it another chance after our last visit. Let's start with the positive- vibe is great, dim lit nice bar, sushi counter, and standard seating- perfect for any occasion because it does feel elevated. Food is great- we've tried different appetizers, rolls, pieces and omakase combos. The fish quality is superb especially the fatty tuna, fatty salmon, and scallop. They also have delicious wagyu that melts in your mouth. The omakase is definitely worth trying, they really excel in this category and easily rival some of the top NYC restaurants I've tried. So why the 2 star review? Unfortunately all of the above was really overshadowed by the service quality. For our latest visit, we actually brought our elderly grandparents. Took 3 times of asking to get them forks and spicy mayo. Upon asking about menu items, the server wasn't really helpful. My husband and I also got our food about 40 minutes earlier than our grandparents did. It's hard to have things come out in sync which is understandable but we were long done by the time their food even started coming out. They waited probably close to an hour between ordering and receiving their meal which was some special rolls, regular rolls, and a sashimi combo. They brought out a complimentary roll because of the hour wait time but no apology and to be honest, we just wanted to leave at this point. There were also so many plates on the table nothing was being taken away so my grandpa ended up accidentally spilling a bit of soy sauce. None of the servers even brought over a napkin. It was just truly a disappointing experience overall because we think the food is incredible. I would love to give this place another chance in the future but it won't be any time soon.

Came here for the first time last night and it was really yummy! The Hamachina roll was the best, followed by dragon roll and dreamy salmon roll. We also enjoyed a Kani salad and the yellowtail appetizer was divine. The cocktail drinks were okay, that's why I knocked off a star. Our waiter was new but kind. The restaurant overall is a really nice.

Excited to check this spot out. The last restaurant that was home here was a fan-favorite. Today is their soft opening. Server was knowledgeable and made great recommendations. He was helping out from their first location located in Suffern , NY. Cocktails: Peach pomegranate Martini (fruity / sweet) & Fall-Fashioned (Smokey, strong bourbon with a balance and uniqueness of rosemary) Appetizer: Shumai, edamame Sushi rolls: J-5 roll (shrimp tempura based with a nice kick of spicy) & Dreamy Salmon (2 types of salmon and a nice aftertaste of cilantro) Great first experience. Hope this venue does well it's in the perfect neighborhood. Been waiting for a new sushi spot to open up in Cliffside Park!

I had the most delicious, fresh, quality sushi here recently. My friend and I came for dinner on Saturday night and the restaurant was already packed by 7pm. We both went for the omakase for 9 and boy, were we in for a treat! Each piece melted in my mouth and I thoroughly enjoyed the flavor and creative toppings. Sushi chef definitely knows what he's doing and you can tell they get their fish from high quality sources. Every piece was creamy and heavenly. One of my favorite pieces was the unagi topped with quail egg, out of this world! Sushi Bada also has a full bar with a variety of top shelf liquor. My friend and I finished a bottle of sake with our dinner. Afterwards, we hung out by the bar to enjoy some of their cocktails. The ambience is intimate and modern. It's perfect for a date or a hang out with friends. Because the space is on the smaller side, some of the tables are seated very close to each other. I did request for a different table by the corner and the manager quickly catered to our needs. No matter how busy they were, the service was outstanding. The staff is wonderful and accommodating. They checked in on us multiple times throughout the night, making sure everything was perfect. I can't wait to come back again! 10/10 :) There are tons of street parking, free after 6pm and a municipal parking lot across the street. Definitely make a reservation for weekend dinner & no need to go into the city! Quality sushi right here in town.

We ordered Combination A - 3 classic (salmon, scallion hamachi, tristate), Combination A - 3 classic (scallion hamachi, tristate, smoked salmon), and spicy trio don. Overall it was clean and well displayed. Combination menu comes with miso soup and salad great way to start the meal. Really liked here and definitely will come back. Service was also great and very polite.

Big statement coming. This may be some of the best sushi I've had ever, and quite possibly one of the most underrated places in the country. From the timing of the plates arriving, to the knowledge of the service staff, to the great setup of the venue and availability of the sake. This place truly shines, and won't break the bank. A six piece Omakase was $36. The food was soo incredible, I giggled in disbelief after every portion. Been here twice already and may go back again today. Outstanding on every front. Great job by Sean and Dave bringing this amazing experience from Suffern NY, and now to Cliffside Park, NJ.

This place hits the spot with some of the best quality sushi, sashimi, and modern interpretations this side of manhattan. They have perfect cuts, and balanced flavors, letting the fish speak for themselves rather than slathering on tons of mayo, filler or sweet sauce. If you're craving great sushi, chirashi, or sashimi, give this place a try.

I must say the quality is unmatched. To start, the chef really takes pride in his work and it's beautiful. I came in for a late lunch and got the 7pcs lunch set. For only $30, the quality was unmatched. They kindly informed me they also do omakase so I look forward to coming for a special dinner. Thank you for your kind service and healing meal!

We continued to wait for the wings - garlic/parmesan wings. We placed our food order - still waiting for the wings. Time passed, literally 1 hour - we timed it by the parking meter -before the wings came, midway through the entrees. The manager apologized and said he would remove it from the bill; the wings were partially cooked and showed up on the bill! He removed it, and we waited again for at least 10 more minutes for the new bill and the takeout box I'd asked for. The oysters were ok. There was a lot of the confit lemon aioli on the lump crab sliders, but it wasn't that flavorful. The fries would've been the best part of the meal, but they were extremely greasy (photos uploaded). If you're only looking for good drinks and a cool spot to watch sports, go here, but the food and service left much to be desired.

Rather than continue the stressful drive, we decided to take the next exit and find a nearby restaurant and La Noma Italian Steakhouse stood out as an upscale restaurant option. From the moment you walk in, the ambiance makes an impression. The space is upscale, chic, modern, and sophisticated, with warm neutral tones of crème and brown throughout. The ceilings, artwork, and architectural details all give the restaurant an elegant feel. We started with the seared octopus, which came in second to the grilled octopus from our favorite Mediterranean restaurant (we are particular about grilled octopus, so this is a compliment). We also split the Bone Marrow Bolognese. I personally enjoyed it, though my husband wasn't quite as impressed. For dessert, we ordered the Cremosa, made with passion fruit purée and white chocolate cremosa, and we both loved it. The wine and champagne selection was top notch. As a certified sommelier, I especially appreciated the curated options and variety available. Overall, I gave La Noma 4 stars because while I enjoyed the meal, my husband didn't love the pasta dish as much as I did. That said, we both agreed this is absolutely a must-visit spot before or after a movie at the nearby iPic Theater. Between the ambiance, attentive service, extensive wine and champagne list, and diverse menu options, this is definitely a restaurant we'll return to. To be considerate of the staff and timing, we looked over the menu on the way there so we would be ready to order immediately upon being seated. However, after being seated and brought water, it took nearly 20 minutes before a server even came to our table to provide the complimentary bread and take our order. It's also important to note that this was one of the last reservation slots of the night, and there were only about 4-5 occupied tables in the restaurant. Two of those tables seemed to just be there for drinks, yet every other table was being attended to and served regularly while our table was overlooked. We were the youngest of all the tables and dressed accordingly and they seemed to pay more attention to the table of men in button ups and suits. According to other reviews, seems like this isn't the first time they pick and choose who they want to provide good service for. We ordered a good amount of food which are shown in the pics below to be shared with 2 of my close friends and myself. Props to the bartender, the Espresso Martini from here has to be one of the best we've tried!! We ordered the steak Medium Rare, and received it back perfectly cooked. It was seasoned well but wish it came with a more generous serving of the veggies, The Oysters tasted very fresh and sweet which we also loved! Pastas were very flavorful but definitely way over priced for a serving enough for just one person unless you're planning to share everything family style. Ambiance of place is very nice and aesthetic and was pleased with the food, the only reason why this place is getting a 3/5 star is because of the service we had received. Note: They also add auto gratuity of 20%... which is another reason. For that I expect better service than what we received... it felt like there was little incentive to provide quality service when the tip was already guaranteed regardless of the overall experience. Hopefully next time we come back we will receive way better attentiveness.

We walked into a dining room that feels noticeably more polished than a typical neighborhood Korean restaurant, with clean lines, warm lighting, and a layout that accommodates both smaller tables and larger groups without feeling cramped. The space strikes a comfortable balance between refined and approachable, making it equally suitable for a casual dinner or a larger gathering. The menu is extensive, covering everything from Korean barbecue and hearty stews to bibimbap, noodles, pancakes, and shareable dishes, giving plenty of variety without feeling unfocused. One of its biggest strengths is the quality and consistency of the food. Signature dishes like yukhoe, gamja-jeon, bibimbap, galbi tang, and naengmyeon are all well executed, with each dish arriving well composed and properly seasoned. The yukhoe had a clean, fresh flavor with a silky texture, and the gamja-jeon offered a crisp exterior with a soft, savory interior that paired well with the dipping sauce. Some of the more modern offerings, including creamy udon and Korean-inspired pasta dishes, provide something a little different without straying too far from the restaurant's roots, and the creamy udon had a rich, velvety sauce that clung to the noodles without overwhelming them. Portions are generous across much of the menu, making many dishes easy to share, and the banchan rounds out the meal well, with a selection of sides that offer a fresh, tangy contrast to the richer main dishes. The atmosphere adds to the experience. The space feels clean, contemporary, and more refined than many Korean restaurants without becoming overly formal, and the energy of the room stays comfortable even when the dining room fills up. Service is generally friendly and attentive, although during busier periods it can occasionally slow down, especially with larger dining rooms to manage. The staff checked in at the right moments and kept the pacing of the meal steady, but the flow can vary depending on the volume of tables. It is priced a bit higher than many nearby Korean restaurants, but the combination of quality ingredients, presentation, portion sizes, and the overall dining environment helps justify the cost. Reservations can be helpful during peak dinner hours, particularly on weekends, and larger groups will appreciate the spacious seating options. Karden offers a polished take on Korean dining without losing the flavors that make the cuisine so enjoyable. The diverse menu, generous portions, and elevated atmosphere make it a great option whether you are looking for traditional Korean comfort food or something with a more modern twist. It is the kind of restaurant that is easy to return to because there are still plenty of dishes worth trying on future visits, and the balance of tradition and creativity keeps the experience feeling both familiar and fresh.

The staff are very attentive and the service speed is pretty quick. Overall, I would definitely give Moru 4.5 stars if I could. I think it's great for most types of occasions, and the only reasons it's not getting 5 stars is because I do think the prices are a tad higher than I would've hoped and I think they could've done a bit more in terms of designing the place to match the price point.
