I love this spot!! My favorite is the fatty shrimp Roll!!! Or the hand rolls! The spicy pork is soooooo good too!!!! I would go back any day

Foo was ok not much complaints about taste, but the Ayce sushi menu had limited amount of sushi + not a lot of nigiri option. After the first round did not get to order the appetizers again. 1.5/3 Service was fine no complaints .5/.5. Ambiance was fine, restaurant is a little small, .5/.5 no extra point 0/1

Dynamite Roll, Kamikaze Roll, Fatty Shrimp Roll

Absolutely amazing as always! I love the rolls and their AYCE as great as well! They also gave us miso soup for takeout.

    Price is fair

Ordered for delivery. Service was fast and the food tastes really fresh. I'll be honest, this is one of the best sushi restaurants in town. There are a handful of other sushi places but nothing exciting. I prefer to eat rolls without rice for dietary purposes, so the selection at Picnic is almost unlimited. Price for dishes is fair. Although this was a delivery, I have been inside of this restaurant and ambiance is nice. Will definitely come back.

Food wasn't bad, the service was terrible. They were not attentive at all, there was a hair in our food and they shrugged it off. Charged the full price for even food with hair. Disgusting. The server messed up 2 times in a span of 30 minutes, giving us the wrong food, giving us the wrong paper, and then once i mentioned the hair they repeatedly told me to wait rudely and said it was fine. When I mentioned it one more time, he looked at me and said "I dont know what you want to do what do you want to do because I have no idea." I payed, left tip, and walked out. Never going back. I'm usually not a nitpicky or bad review person; This genuinely ruined my night.

Amazing sushi spot!!! We got AYCE here and it's really great quality fish for a reasonable price. P.S. make sure to bring cash so you can get $5 EACH person! The service was spot on as well - I literally asked for a tea and gave some to my friend and she noticed and gave us another without even asking!! Would definitely come back here, just wished this place was a tiny bit bigger so more people can sit - we did wait 40 minutes!

Okay, I'm a fan! Came here for dinner on a Saturday night. This place is small, so there is limited seating at the bar (I believe 4 seats), and maybe 6 or 7 tables (a mix for 2 and 4 people). You can also bring your own wine/alcohol here as well. All you can eat was $25/person if you pay in cash, or $30/person with card. That's why I docked off a star. That's quite a price gap. It would be more reasonable if it was a dollar or two maybe... but that's just my opinion. The menu was quite extensive. Their specialty rolls were a hit, along with the normal rolls offered at every place. Their bento boxes come with plenty of food too. Service there is good. The servers there are to ensure that when a guest leaves, they clean that table right away for the next. They're fast! I'd come again, and probably bring cash this time.

I've never done their AYCE but I do love coming here for dinner. It's not the most romantic or authentic but they do make some terrific tasty specialty rolls. My boyfriend is a huge huge fan of lots of flavors, lots of sauce and fried things. My favorites are the MAIN ROLL (I add avocado), the FRENCH KISS, the CRUNCH ROLL, and the FUJI roll. We love all the torched ones!!! The service is kind but not anything special, but they are really nice. I appreciate the simplicity. Not really a "date night" per se. It's super casual!

I was a bit skeptical when we first walked in because there was nobody else eating here. However, the food, service, and portions were good. My husband ordered the sushi deluxe which came with a crunchy shrimp roll. Nothing wow about it. I would order the galbi bento box again. Aside from the tasty short ribs, it included a california roll, two pieces of salmon sushi, salad and two shrimp tempuras.

    Tania V.

The sushi was good. We ordered speciality rolls and really could not tell the difference between each roll, sort of all taste the same. I would go back for a quick dinner if I'm in the area but would not go out of my way to go there.

So....this place is awful. This is what I received and it's a complete inedible mess. Avocado and crab sticks thrown on top, I don't know where to start. The worst part is the manager took absolutely no blame and hung up on me. She was saying she "stood by her product". Don't go here and give them your hard-earned money.

Spicy crab salad. Not good. Too much lettuce. Id avoid.

Dez made a reappearance after many years to Picnic, and i have to say - i am still a fan! Why only 4 stars? Well the quality of the fish is very edible, but ive had better. quality could be a bit fresher. however, the rolls here are VERY unique...service is good....and theres all types of apps on the AYCE menu. They take cards - $25 for AYCE. very small, maybe about 6 tables. parking is out front, usually free after 6 PM. Small recap.... Sushi donut - dont waste your time, too much rice, maybe 2 slices of fish on top, sauce overpowered the donut. Sushi Pizza- a must get! we all loved this! the bottom is a fried tempura shell with rice, then nori and various fish on top. seaweed salad- slimey and very moist, not that fresh spicy crab salad- mainly salad with tomatoes and very little but of spicy crab, i wouldnt waste my time with this one. My friends were very happy with their udon and dumpling soups! rolls...and rolls and rolls... first off, the BBQ rolls is not the same as i remembered. its not torched at the table and it needed to be torched some more. the french kiss is a must get - it has thinly sliced lemon slices on top, which sound intimidating, but this was one of my fave rolls of the night! fuji- looks stunning, nothing spectacular here. the mango on top was a nice touch. very sharable yam yam - another one of my faves. love the shrimp and the white sauce on top! a must get! spicy mania- always a safe go to roll. good, not too spicy, plenty of flavor. fatty shrimp- only 5 pcs but its packed with fish and flavor! Would i come back? absolutely, the rolls are good. I like the variety and they truly have unique rolls on the AYCE menu - alot are torched or fried. Theres even a chicken tempura one too!

Yumm yummy! Stopped at this place on a whim and decided to order sashimi, Yaki Udon with Miso Soup and Tempura Soup Udon. All were so fantastic. The sashimi was fresh and clean. The Yaki Udon was cooked in a delicious sauce that wasn't too heavy or overpowering. The noodles were cooked to perfection and the entire dish was so well put together. The Udon soup was equally delicious in a light broth. A win win here. Service was decent and the restaurant is pretty clean.

    Is there parking?

There's a municipal parking lot around the corner, 2 min walk

Are they still doing 25$ AYCE at this time/dine in?

As of last week, 12/20/20 they were! $25 AYCE cash or $28 CC. its the best AYCE around! their sushi is so fresh and the Haru and Fatty Shrimp roll are amazing.

    Is it BYOB?

    Yup.

What time does the lunch buffet start/end? Any other info about the buffet that people should know of?

Not a buffet. You get a paper menu and can order unlimited amounts. I believe they do the all you can eat throughout the day

The Budae Jjigae was savory comfort, and the Shin Ramen Fried Rice was not only abundant, but served in an adorable heart shape. Even the Kimchi Stew and Gyeran-jjim were more umami than the countless counterparts I've had elsewhere. On top of that, we got more ban chan than an attention-starved halmoni hosting her first family reunion in 10 years. Everywhere I pointed my chopsticks, I touched food. It was delightful. If I can ever gather enough people, I'd gladly infest this place again.

No matter how much salt/pepper I put in, there still didn't seem to be a lot of flavor. We decided on this place because rating was pretty good and was open late. It's located in a plaza with Korean market, liquor store, cafe and such. Large parking area available in the plaza. Inside is small but clean and gives off traditional Korean restaurant vibe with of course Korean music. There were quite few Korean customers as well as staffs so i knew we were in the right place. They specialize in Korean beef soup. We ordered rice cake and dumplings and special beef rib soup. The fish came with purple rice and various kimchi and pickled veggies side dishes. They also serve korean hot tea along side the dishes. My special beef rib soup was very light and clear but full of beef flavor. Little touch with salt and pepper with pickled veggies and rice paired with very well. The meats were very tender and flavorful as well. Portion is quite large and i was not able to finish my bowl although i did help with another bowl of rice from my partner. My partner got the rice cake and dumplings beef soup. This one was a but lighter and needed more salt flavoring but also good. She liked her's better as she doesn't like heavier and fattier meat/broth. Salt and peppers are provided to adjust your seasoning as needed. Even though they could not finish the dishes i throughly enjoyed the food. What i like about Korean dishes is that even some are heavy and fatty they include lots of vegetables and healthy ingredients which makes it feel like you had a healthy meal and lots of nutrients despite eating out.
