Service was amazing. Shout out to our server Yazmin! They were attentive and had the best food recommendations. Food was great. Ordered the edamame (the chili was a nice touch), gyoza, salmon lemonade and bream roll. The salmon lemonade was a surprisingly sweet roll, would highly recommend ordering. The drinks (both alcoholic and mocktail) were also tasted great. The hibiscus with the bubble, was a fun idea. Ambiance is casual but not too casual, can be dress up. This is a great place for a date or friend gathering. There's plenty of parking, as this place is located at fashion place (mall).

A beautiful restaurant, full of helpful staff and delicious food! My party had the Wagyu Curry Don, the Tokyo Burger, and the white chocolate mountain cake. The don was a bowl of crispy beef, potatoes, carrots, and rice with a flavorful sauce. The dish was unlike anything I had had before, and every bite was amazing. The Tokyo burger was a Wagyu cheeseburger split in half and served in a sizzling platter of rich, tangy, smooth cheese sauce. Very unique and delicious. We came here the week between Christmas and New Year's, when most restaurants have a very long wait. We were able to be seated right away and service was friendly and attentive and not rushed.

This is the best sushi I've ever had. The chicken katsu was tender and bursting with flavor. The steak wagyu was the best steak I've ever tasted. The sushi rolls were perfectly made and held together with my clumsy chopstick usage. The cosmo was divine. The edamame was the best I've ever had. The service was good, but my water was left empty often. They have smaller water glasses. The ambiance is outstanding! It is hip, chique, and perfect for any major event: anniversary, graduation, pre-wedding dinner, and more! It isn't busy on the weekdays, but I'd recommend reservations regardless.

I recently visited Miyazaki with a friend, looking forward to what we hoped would be a premium Japanese dining experience. We ordered the 5 oz "Japanese A5 Wagyu" for $110, two sushi rolls, miso soups, and salads (which, oddly, weren't included with any entrée). My friend had a ribeye. Let me be clear: what Miyazaki served was not Japanese A5 Wagyu. True A5 Wagyu should be rich, tender, and melt in your mouth. What I received was grainy, overly fatty, and completely unpalatable--I couldn't even swallow one piece. My friend's ribeye was flash-cooked and just as underwhelming. When I brought up the issue, the "chef" brought out a cut of meat (without any certification) insisting it was authentic Japanese Wagyu. It felt like an attempt to salvage a lie, and frankly, it was insulting. For a restaurant that uses the name Miyazaki--a region renowned for authentic Wagyu--this was a total betrayal of customer trust. I left feeling deceived, frustrated, and deeply disappointed. Do yourself a favor: avoid Miyazaki and spend your money where quality and honesty actually matter.

Right at the entrance of the mall so it's a great spot to grab a bite after a bit of shopping. Prices are pretty good as well for high quality sushi. Decently sized menu with something for everyone. Their Gyoza was well stuffed and perfectly cooked. Also got the takoyaki which are savory, octopus filled fried balls, a common Japanese street food. Never had it before but I was sold, pretty to look at but most importantly it had great flavor. The salmon lemonade roll was a perfect, "light" roll for me. The name is fitting, the lemon is caramelized and some of the sugar granules could be found on the bottom of the plate. Kind of a sweet savory roll, but really a close sibling the common sunrise roll at most restaurants. Next was the Kaguyehime roll, pretty simple roll but was very flavorful. Something I haven't really seen in the area before is freshly sliced ginger served with the sushi, definitely appreciated that since it is much more flavorful and a better palate cleanser that what you typically find a most sushi restaurants. They also offer freshly grated wasabi, so if you've been wanting to try the real thing this is the place to do it. We got their Ube cheesecake which was probably the only disappointing part of the meal. Ube flavor was not very strong so it was mostly just a regular cheesecake which is fine. One of the raspberries was starting to mold but so keep an eye on out of season fruit. Restaurant ambiance and decoration is great, low light and intimate. Service was also great, very attentive. Didn't see an alcohol menu but they do have a bar so sure they have a signature cocktail menu. Their mocktail menu actually looked pretty good and reasonably priced, would probably try it next time. In summary, I'd highly recommend coming here. Great sushi with quality ingredients, great service and ambiance. Will definitely be back in the future!

Was shopping at the Fashion Place Mall and stopped into Miyazaki for dinner. We were seated quickly as the restaurant was not busy at 5:00 pm. Ordered the pork belly donburi and chirashi donburi - both were delicious.

This was our second visit to this restaurant. We enjoyed everything we had. The restaurant is beautiful. Our server Yazmine was very helpful, and our food came out quickly. Definitely worth checking out.

Let me start with saying the food and attentiveness from the Manager brought this review from a 3 to a 4. We had a reservation at 6:45 and got sat immediately and ordered drinks. However, it took 30 minutes for two cocktails and one beer to get to us. The server didn't check in once or let us know that the drinks were delayed. We saw the bartender walk away from the bar and not return. We were then told that he was "slammed". Upon receiving our drinks 40 minutes later, one of our cocktails showed up warm and tasted horrible. The manager came over and offered us a free appetizer and to remake the drink. We do appreciate her willingness to rectify the issue. Be warned for lychee martini lovers - the drink is not at all a classic lychee martini and more a yuzu-tini with one lychee at the bottom of the drink From there on out our dinner came out at a nice pace and was delicious. We ordered 4 rolls and the sashimi plate along with the ceviche, calamari and cucumber salad. The ceviche was fresh and tasty, we would've liked a few more taro chips were was ultimately satisfied. I didn't care too much for the calamari but that was a personal preference as I don't love thick slices. Our rolls were fresh and delicious, they had a nice spin on the classic rolls. The cucumber salad wasn't anything to write home about but was good. Ultimately, the service was lacking but the manager did a lovely job at trying to rectify the issues. I am not sure what the bartender was doing but they need to relearn the drinks and how to manage their time considering it was not busy in terms of drinks. PS it was a Sunday, and being in Utah not too many people are drinking. The food was good and would bring us back again!

Stopped here for lunch. Service was perfect and the food was amazing. I had the Salmon lemonade roll and it was very very good. The salmon skin hand roll was not your normal roll. Still good but I wouldn't get it again. Overall lunch was great and I would recommend giving it a try.

There are not any vegetarian rolls on the menu so that is disappointing. The kids bento is great and the other rolls were okay. Service was also good. Only three stars due to pricing vs the food being okay not great.

Out of the 3 or 4 places we've tried ramen at in Utah, this is probably the best so far! They kept our drinks topped off, the food all tasted freshly made so we didn't mind the slightly longer wait for our food! The atmosphere was nice and we will definitely be back! We've been here before and have tried their steak and garlic mashed potatoes and they were both to die for!

We've been here several times. This was the first one not sitting at the bar. Mario took care of us well. We got a tiny number of nigiri. They were as good as always. Excellent fish and Uni. rice that is not overly compacted. It's always very good. If you are getting sushi, and like nigiri, being at the bar is always a good idea. You can ask the sushi chefs questions and they can come up with interesting things to get. Today was about other dishes. I had not had grilled unagi before going to Tokyo. I loved it there. What they have here is every bit as good. It was perfectly cooked and flaky. We also got the black garlic ramen. While it was very good, it doesn't match the best. Still, all in all, this is the best place I've been to, and I've tried to get to most everywhere.

We came to celebrate Galentines with the ladies and they was 23 of us total. We sat in a private room which was nice. The plan was to eat a nice lunch and exchange gifts with everyone. King salmon sashimi was ok. It was served on a plate I'm with orange slices and not lemon. I tried to just eat the salmon by itself, but the cut was a little funky. I ordered the hamachi crudo and there was so much olive oil on the plate. You can see my fish swimming in it! If it was a sauce, it definitely lacked all the flavors. The sake flight was a joke. It was $30 for 3 shot glasses but you can pick your selection. I preferred the cold fruity milkier one compared to the black and gold. Nigiri platter was the best. Half of the party were hungover and ordered ramen. They all said that it lacked flavor and asked for extra ingredients: chili oil, sriracha, peppers and unfortunately most left their bowls fill when we left! The worst part of this was that they had FAKE Sriracha and they watered it down. You can swirl that bottle gently and watch the entire thing just follow like it's just water inside. That's pretty embarrassing when you're paying a hefty price to eat here. I asked our server twice to clear my plates because they were stacked up next to me and barely had any room on my part of the table. They never came to clean plates, but were quick to take our payment and not refill any of our drinks. It's a little overpriced for mediocre food. Highly suggest trying other nearby restaurants since it's fashion place mall.

The food was so-so for the price. The service was terrible. My husband was served his steak. My spider rolls came about 10 minutes later and my salmon roll NEVER came. Serously? They couldn't get my salmon roll out in 30 minutes. read more

The service is very, very slow. The food was excellency but you should order everything immediately because like I said very, very slow. My beer was empty for more than 5 minutes and it was pretty much an empty restaurant. I was watching my server talk with the bartender while I needed a beer. Place could be great but they need to work on speed. read more

Food was really good. Only giving 2 stars because of service. It seems like they might still be struggling as a new place. We've ordered things from the kitchen and sushi bar. Everything from the kitchen was quick and really good, but all things from the sushi bar were a little problematic. We ordered 3 different sushi rolls and a sashimi. The first one came right after our hot plates and that is when our problem started. The other 2 rolls took about 30 min and when instead of the sashimi we asked for we got a nigiri (had to complain and they got the thing after a few more minutes) After that we made the mistake of ordering another sashimi (which we would think it would be quick), but then it took another 30 min where we asked our waiter if it would take too long to get it, and he checked and came back saying the sushi bar was super busy and it would still take a while ( at that time it was almost 9pm and the restaurant was far from being busy). I asked the waiter to cancel it, which after a few minutes he came back again saying he was able to bump it and we would be able to get it finally in a few minutes. At the end we even had problems with our check. So it was a service nightmare. I really hope they can figure out these issues as food is pretty good. But I would think twice about coming back if it remains like this as we spent around 2 hours in there mainly waiting for our food. read more

Very surprised by this place, freaking amazing. Some of the best sushi I have had. Not overloaded with sauces like other places do. The Edamame was delicious, the hamachi crudo was awesome, and the gyoza was the best I have ever had. Really recommend this place to anyone. I should have tried the A5. Only 3 weeks in and Miyazaki next to the Cheesecake Factory at Fashion Place is already easily the best Japanese Steakhouse / Sushi restaurant in the state! Let me explain why. First of all you can actually get reservations there. None of this waiting in line a half hour before they open like Takashi. The restaurant itself is gorgeous! It is also one of the few, if not only restaurant here serving real A5 Japanese Kobe Beef. But if you are also looking for a more casual experience they have you covered as well. I liked the handmade Gyoza, and Miyazaki roll. I loved the Beef Tataki with garlic chips and the Salmon Lemonade Roll with caramelized Lemon was really great!. It was a very innovative and fun roll, reminded me of the first time I tried Akira Back's sushi roll with Pop Rocks. I also tried the domestic Snake River Farms Wagyu sirloin and it was fantastic, and perfectly cooked. I absolutely loved the Black Sesame and Chocolate pot de creme!! Utah has some really good sushi restaurants like Takashi and Tsunami. But their old, tired menus haven't changed in years. Miyazaki has an extensive, evolving menu and it will take multiple visits to try everything! read more

This new Japanese Asian fusion restaurant is a must for any foodie in Salt Lake County. It has been years since I found the quality and flavor fused in a manner that made my taste buds dance. The calamari was especially delicious and is a must try. The sushi and freshness of the sashimi was a kin to the quality of the Japanese culture. The menu is diverse and should meet the dietary needs and or cravings anybody wishes to experience. I can't rave about this place enough. It's a must try. read more

Finally a Japanese restaurant in Utah that did NOT disappoint! This place had all of the best cuts of fish and even had A5 wagyu. We ordered Chutoro nigiri, hamachi nigiri and Ora King Salmon nigiri. All delicious. We also ordered the Nee York Strip A5. My favorite tapa was the tostada. We ordered two sushi rolls which I can't remember the names of but were 10/10. Will definitely be coming back soon. read more

Have the neighbors watch your mouth, cuz your taste buds are going on vacation! The Pink Tonic and Sparkling Sake cocktails were tasty and fun. The Ginger Bream roll was good, the Salmon Lemonade roll was beyond exquisite, and the yellowtail sashimi was delicate and flavorful. A wonderful experience overall. read more

Unforgettable experience... and they haven't even had their Grand Opening yet! They had a Sake-Raspberry Cocktail that was out out of this world AND....not being a Fish Eater, I can't even describe the Foodgasm I got from the Miyazaki Roll; Crispy Shrimp Tempura wrapped with Avocado and topped with singed Top Sirloin. I went here not really knowing what to expect and ended up being absolutely delicious. The Medallions were soft, moist, and seasoned well. The sashimi we had was some of the freshest raw fish I have had in Utah, I just regret not getting more. We also tried each one of the dessert options and every one was so good! The staff was great, the atmosphere was great. Overall made the list of one of my favorite places to eat for sure, already made a couple plans to come back. These people and chefs know what there doing! read more

I saw Miyazaki's 5 star rating (as of Mar 31, 2022) and was expecting a somewhat authentic experience, but was massively disappointed. The tea we received wasn't even hot. The gyoza starter tasted like Trader Joe's brand, and 1 gyoza out of 5 was empty. The chicken katsu was bready and mediocre at best. The only redeeming part was the sashimi, we ordered the akami and the hamachi which came with decently large portions. I would go elsewhere for an authentic Japanese dinner. read more

This is the worst experience I have ever had. I can't imagine how they think they can appear to be such a high quality place with such poor practices!!! I came out with a party of 5adults and one child for my birthday. They brought food for two people while the rest of us sat for over 45 mins for another meal then 5-8 for meal then 10-15 for another so by now we are so upset that we cancel the last persons meal and leave! All they said was we're sorry but that will not be enough for us to ever come back and we will be sure to tell others to never go. These are pictures of the first couple meals that appeared while we were still somewhat hopeful. The fries were stale and the rice was mediocre. The burger was good and the eel bowl was good. They were embarrassed to sit and eat while we sat there with no food and water with no ice bc they didn't even ask if we want other drinks. We were so hungry and angry that we forgot to take pictures as the food appeared every 10-15 minutes. If you read this and go anyway you can't say you weren't warned! read more

We had dinner at Miyazaki with our 15 months old. It was the first time we were taking him to a restaurant and we were a little nervous about it. The super friendly staff made it a wonderful experience for us. They went above and beyond to make sure our little one was comfortable and happy. The food was amazing too. I was excited to try this place, heard lots of great things. We unfortunately didn't get to even try the food because the service from the get go was horrible. We waited 30 minutes with a reservation and was seated with a pointed finger "hey you two" to a wet table with no menus. We waited for five minutes to ask for menus or anyone to even notice us. At that point we left due the lack of attention and communication from the staff. You want 5 star food with 1 star service? No thank you. We walked to Red Rock and was seated within 10 minutes and we had appetizers to our table. read more

The food was fine, nothing impressive but the problem was the service. I came with a larger group and we all ordered at the same time but our food came out in three rounds. The amount of time between rounds was enough for the last people served to finish their meals completely. We had to order our drinks multiple times, waters were not refilled. Not a great experience. Would not recommend. read more

Wanted to love this place but just can't. We went for a bday with a small group. It wasn't busy at all , but we waited a long time to order, then waited awhile to get our food. My burger was really good but everyone mentioned their sushi tasting fishy and mine did as well. I got the Salmon Lemonade roll which would have been a really good roll but it was bit fishy. If you eat sushi you know what that means. My husbands meal was not good, said the medallions tasted like the were old and ended up not feeling well after the dinner. The edamame was alright in my opinion but my husband said it's the worst he's ever had. We asked if they had spicy edamame, they said yes but brought us some with what I think was sweet chili sauce , sweet not spicy. Additionally, our sake was cold (was supposed to be hot) the first round was cold and the second was lukewarm. Did not taste good and the purple haze is a favorite for us. We asked for it hot but the waitress said something along the line if that's as hot as it could get? Took a long time to get our checks and the service was... well I don't want to complain because they were nice but the service was just okay. Maybe it was an off night because I've heard good things about it. Just trying to provide a detailed review as I am someone who relies a lot on reviews for determining where I want to go and what I want to get. The best part was just being with friends celebrating a birthday. Not impressed with the experience and won't be returning. Sushi is not something to mess with, the fact it all seemed fishy is not a good thing. It was an expensive dinner with little to no satisfaction. read more

This place is simply terrific. The individual flavors pop but jive together as well. First, the sushi is so fresh and the flavors were so clean. My mother who doesn't usually like sushi couldn't stop talking about how much she loved it. Second, the wagyu beef is so soft and basically melts in your mouth. The gravy that accompanied it was delicious, imaginative and complimented the beef perfectly. Third, the desserts were unique and something I had never tried. The teardrop cake was a whole new experience and did not disappoint. Lastly, the staff were friendly and prompt I'm taking orders and ensuring our satisfaction. I will definitely recommend Miyazaki to any friends or family that are going to be in the area. read more

Had a deep desire for a good sushi spot close to home, wasn't willing to drive too far this particular night. Chose to go to Miyazaki based on some of their reviews online. Little background story, I'm originally from the LA area and just moved here to Utah so I'm exploring different eateries based on my own personal experience. I've had a lot of good sushi, and my share of not so good. On this evening, I decided to pick up rather than eat in. I was overwhelmed by the fancy decor and layout of the restaurant as I walked in. Looks like 5 star at first glance. Everything is new and well kept. In my order I got an array of my favorite sushi/nigiri. When I got home, I opened the take out package and was impressed by the presentation. However, this review is all about the quality of the food. The fish was satisfactory but the rice was not what I expect. Dense and a little overwhelmed by flavor. In my opinion, the fish should be the highlight of the dish, not the rice. So in conclusion, if you're looking for a nice place to take a date, maybe even impress her by the ambiance, this may be an option. However, if your looking for something that is going to satisfy your deep yearning for good sushi, I might look elsewhere. Oh, BTW, it's a little over priced in my opinion. read more

Miyazaki from beginning to finish was amazing from the ambiance, to the staff to the food. Our server was Rizza created a special event for my girls at the table with dry ice toppings on their drinks and always a wonderful smile and impeccable service. We were visiting from San Diego and if we are ever back here this will be our go to dinner spot! read more

I love the food here, but man do they need to work on their service. I brought my parents here as a celebration and had been talking up the A5 Wagyu steak. The hostess seated us right away and then no one came and filled our waters or anything. 15 minutes go by and we finally had to ask for our waiter. He came over in a huff and just asked to take our order. Didn't give any recommendations or anything or apologize. Didn't ask for drink orders. We were ordering the steaks, and some appetizers and drinks. The appetizers and drinks never came. We never saw anyone again until our food finally came and we asked where our drinks and appetizers were? He looked shocked. Just really sad when you're spending over $500, to be treated so forgotten. To the waiters credit, he did give us complimentary dessert, but it really soured the meal as my parents couldn't stop talking about how ignored they felt. I wanted a special night out to celebrate seeing them and it became a focus of where our service was. We had to ask someone to come attend to us twice. Took them 2 1/2 hours to get us out of there and we just wanted to leave at that point, but couldn't do that either. because even getting the check took another 45 minutes. What should have been a memorable evening became one of the most infuriating dining experiences I've had in years. After we sat down, our waitress was nowhere to be seen for 10-15 minutes. Even when we saw her, we flagged her down 3-4 times and were still ignored. I had to physically get up and chase someone down, and still waited another 5 minutes for someone to take our order. There were only 3 tables in the restaurant. The waitress never once asked me or my friend's mom for our drink order- completely skipped over us. And when drinks did come out, she brought the wrong one to my friend's mom. When we asked for water refills. She filled two glasses out of five and walked off, when my glass was near empty. She then dropped a plate on our table. Moments later, I reached for the food and she snatched it back saying it was for another table. Rude doesn't begin to cover it. We asked for an extra spoon, a completely normal request, and it was met with a dirty look, as if we had asked for something outrageous. When I asked for extra ginger, she placed it at the farthest corner of the table. Whether intentional or not, it felt extremely careless and rude. We ordered uni nigiri, which is not a cheap order. It arrived without seaweed. I've ordered uni nigiri many times here, and it's always come with seaweed. When I flagged it, they didn't remake it, just shoved the seaweed under the rice. An insult to a $20+ piece of nigiri. Throughout all of this, this waitress had a visible attitude toward every reasonable request. What made it worse is that I'm Asian myself, and it was clear she was specifically singling out me and my friend's mom above everyone else at the table. The dismissiveness, the hostility, the microaggressions felt pointed and deliberate. I can only call it what it is: racism and sexism. No one should have to feel targeted at a restaurant they've loyally supported for years. Ika has lost a longtime champion. I will be actively discouraging everyone I know from setting foot in this place. Save your money, your time, and your celebration, and go literally anywhere else. ***Update*** I'd like to clarify a few things since the facts were misrepresented by your response. Funny you bring up my arrival time as if that somehow discredits me. I let my group know I would be a few minutes late, and it was not even close to being an hour. What matters is that after I sat down, our entire group waited 10-15 minutes waving down staff and being repeatedly ignored. I then got up and spoke to a different staff member who was filling ginger by the bar, not even our assigned waitress, and she had to find someone else to help us. That is not "flagging rudely", that is a group of paying customers desperately trying to get basic service. Again, there were only three tables including us. You're welcome to review your security footage to verify this. You claim you were watching closely, but if you were running a restaurant, I find it hard to believe you had the bandwidth to monitor our table that carefully. If anything, that explains everything: you were short staffed, your team was stretched thinly, and your regular customers paid the price for it. That is a management failure, not a customer problem. You also never addressed how long the waitress took to take our orders, never asking me for my drink order, bringing my friend's mom the wrong drink, making a disgusted face when we asked for an extra spoon, dropping the wrong dish on our table and rudely snatching it away, and placing the ginger at the farthest end of the table. Funny how none of that made it into your response. Most importantly, you said nothing about your waitress's sexist behavior toward me and my friend's mother. We were singled out, dismissed, and treated with hostility that the rest of our table did not experience. That was the most egregious part of our visit and you chose to completely ignore it. The uni argument is not worth debating. Seaweed in nigiri is a global standard. Doubling down on that is just embarrassing. I even called that evening to provide this feedback directly, and was told the manager was not available and would call me back the next day. That never happened. Instead of having a conversation and being willing to listen, you chose to come onto Yelp and make this a personal attack against me. Our group was only there because of my recommendation. I was your advocate. That ends now, and so does any business I would have ever sent your way. Your response has only confirmed what kind of establishment this is. So as you said best, goodbye!

After the cook was done, they were practically rushing us out, by picking up plates, offering boxes, and setting new clean dishwater near the grill. I'm glad that they are efficient, but where's my server? Where's my water & wine refill? For a Friday evening and NOT very busy, I was really bummed for how horrible our experience and service was. This is one of the best teppanyaki restaurants around. This server didn't do her job and our last 5 star experience turned to a 3 star and was underwhelming sadly.

Upon a recent visit to Miyazaki, a Premium Japanese Sushi and Steak House acclaimed for its authentic cuisine, I embarked with expectations as substantial as my esteemed 623-pound frame. However, the experience proved to be an odyssey of middling flavors and accommodations that scarcely catered to a man of my Hasidic observance and copious girth. The menu at Miyazaki was a tapestry of traditional Japanese offerings, yet, for all its variety, it failed to evoke the culinary euphoria I so richly deserve. The Otoro Sashimi, while fresh, lacked the melt-in-your-mouth quality that justifies its exorbitant price tag. The A5 NY Strip, a dish that should sing with sumptuous fat and flavor, was merely a whisper of the luxury it purported to offer, cooked well yet missing that divine spark. Regarding the decor and seating, Miyazaki appears to have designed its interiors with a minimalist aesthetic in mind, which regrettably extends to the size of its seating. Each chair seemed to have been engineered for patrons significantly less endowed in physical stature than myself--a clear oversight. Navigating the dining area was akin to a delicate ballet, performed with neither the grace nor agility that eludes a man of my considerable dimensions. As for the desserts, the options were as underwhelming as the seating. The Black Sesame Creme, while a delightful concept, delivered a flavor that was forgettable at best, leaving one yearning for a more robust conclusion to a pricey meal. This, coupled with the steep pricing across the menu--particularly egregious was the Chef's Choice, Primo Sashimi Plate at an eye-watering $89--left a sour taste that not even the finest green tea could wash away. In reflection, while Miyazaki earnestly attempts to deliver a premium dining experience, it does so with a hand too restrained for someone of my unique gifts. It is a place that might suffice for a casual outing but falls dramatically short of earning the Smegbert Rubenstein Jewish Star (of David) of Approval. The lack of a personal touch in both culinary craftsmanship and physical accommodation rendered my experience painfully, commercially average. Thus, I bestow upon Miyazaki a decidedly mediocre 3 stars. It is not without its merits, but neither does it rise to the occasions demanded by my palatial tastes and substantial needs. I recently dined at Miyazaki, a sushi restaurant located in Fashion Place mall. Despite having a limited menu, every dish I tried tasted great. We went here on Tuesday to try out. I've seen a lot of good reviews and I've seen only a couple negative ones, but I still wanted to try it for myself. We are so glad we did. This place is great! The ambience was great, the food was excellent, and the staff were awesome! The food was delicious and everything was fresh. The owner is really nice and he was walking around each table to make sure everything was ok and actually spoke to us. The tuna fish belly is a must try! Melts in your mouth. I definitely will be coming back. I have to try other dishes like the A5 Wagyu. They have only been opened since March 2nd, so only like 3 weeks. With it being open for not long at all, I'm sure everything is still a learning process. If anyone is debating about trying it, I would say give it a try read more

I recently visited Miyazaki, and overall, it was a forgettable experience. The food was just okay--not terrible, but far from impressive. The sushi, in particular, was a disappointment: portion sizes were surprisingly small, and the flavor didn't do much to make up for it. On the plus side, the restaurant was quiet and almost empty, which made for a relaxed dining experience. The decor is actually quite nice--clean, modern, and well put together. It's a shame the atmosphere didn't carry through to the food. If you're just looking for a calm spot with nice ambiance and aren't too picky about flavor or value, Miyazaki might work. But if you're after memorable sushi or standout dishes, there are better options out there. read more

The menu at Miyazaki is extensive, featuring a variety of Japanese dishes, including sushi, sashimi, tempura, udon, and more. The ingredients are fresh and the service was great! Complete garbage! I was eating my appetizer and overheard the arrogant owner talking about how most people don't have money like he does so he put some items on the menu so the poor don't feel left out. I would not recommend this place to anyone, go to Tsunami, PF Changs is going to run them out of business. Don't waste your money at a place that daddy bought for him that doesn't know how to run a restaurant. I would give this place 0 stars if I could read more

The steaks are amazing which surprised me for a Japanese restaurant. They have some crazy mocktails that were really fun for me and my family. The kids loved watching the smoke bubble pop on the Hibiscus Pop. The Salmon Lemonade roll was totally different than other rolls I've had around here. And who knew they had ceviche?! My expectations were quite high, but unfortunately, this place didn't quite meet them. It seemed a bit understaffed, and the service, while adequate, didn't match the price tag. The ambiance was alright, although updating the flooring from the previous restaurant would have been a nice touch. The food, from my perspective, felt overpriced.
