My favorite food is a chicken/beef Teriyaki, and let me tell you something. I've been trying it out in many different restaurants, at least 15 different places. I'm so confident that "Mitzee" is the best restaurant that has satisfied my taste so far. Let me give you an example. Once you order a food at Mitzee, they actually grill it on the pan with a sweet Teriyaki sauce, whereas Panda Express, for example, serves a precooked food to customers. As a result, foods are more fresh/hot-steamed and oily (in a good way), whereas I hate the fact that foods at Panda Express are somehow dried-up and it would disharmonize the taste between food and sauce. I have been going here for YEARS! The owner and the cook are nice and friendly, I have never had a bad experience. I am super picky and this is the only place I found that serves chow mein WITHOUT vegetables (upon request). Small little place in the shopping center of the Dominos on Central, but the flavor is no joke. Beef and Chicken Teriyaki is the way to go. best teriyaki iv ever had.!! i was introduced to mitzee cafe about 3 years ago and iv never been disappointed at all with the food! The service is also great! i usually go with my gf who drives from Palmdale to eat here and pay around 22.00 dollars for two plates, a side of Korean ribs and a drink which is reasonable considering the portions you get... I try to go about every other week but if i could id go ever week i honestly would.. Go check this place out you wont be disappointed.. by the way i don't understand why yelp doesn't have more reviews, this place is always filled with loyal customers from what i see. read more

Amazing place, meat quality takes a big shit on Terriyaki mes over cooked dry meat. Their chow mien is amazing I usually get half of that and half rice. The red sauce is very tasty and extremely spicy. you only want to put a drop or 2 on your food. Terriyaki sauce is made fresh throughout the day. This place is my favorite!!! I work nearby so it's easy enough to walk a couple blocks on my lunch break. It's never too busy, the food is amazing, and the man that works there is super nice. He recognizes his customers and even remembers my order! The portions are perfect, never had any complaints. Also the spicy salsa they make there is super hot but tasty!!!! They don't take long to make your food and you see them make it fresh in front of you. They also offer takeout so if you don't have a few minutes to sit and eat, just take it home and enjoy it there. Very good teriyaki chicken and beef. The plates are very big so the price is very reasonable. I come here often and I'm never disappointed. The people that work here remember me whether I do an order on the phone or if I come in. My mom was the one who introduced me to the place since the hospital where she used to work at is right down the street. Was looking for Teriyaki in the Glendale area and found this. It was highly recommended via Yelp. I thought I'd give it a try. I was very impressed. Teriyaki chicken was very good, better than anything I've tried in the area so far! I wasn't quite sure so I ordered the small portion. Price was about $6. Next time I go back to Glendale I'm stopping in again and getting the large. Very good and I highly recommend. Don't be put off by the location or look. The meat tastes like Yoshinoya, dry, stringy, paper thin, extremely overcooked (oredered the small beef teriyaki) I asked for it not well done, but he seems like the pigheaded macho type who does whatever he wants regardless. I watched him wipe his nose with his bare hand. Perhaps the lunch time cook is better. This is.my first time here. Don't think I'll be back.
