I loved this place. I came here on Tuesday and I must say I will definitely be back. My sister and I shared the lunch special and we each had a happy hour drink. The service was great we sat at the bar. Then we had each one drink, I had the sangrita. Then the lunch food; the guacamole was really good and the chips were warm and fresh. Then my taco was good; my sister ordered the shrimp she did not like hers. I had the fried fish taco and I did like it very much. I would definitely try other tacos. The rice and beans were also very good. The black beans were flavorful and fresh. But I must say as I was eating; I kept smelling something which smelled delicious. I will definitely be back for brunch and to try the seafood enchiladas. They also have a nice outdoor seating. read more

These tacos were very tasty. We ordered for the table, and believe it or not, 10 tacos were about 2 tacos too much for the 4 of us! Pedro, our server, has the best personality and gave us great customer service. I found this place thru tiktok, sent it to my daughter as a must visit, and she chose this place to start off her birthday shenanigans. We live far but are willing to brave the traffic for a revisit. read more

Came here for bottomless brunch on the weekend. Nice selection of various drinks, but there was a VIP bottomless brunch option with more cocktails. Was very sad that there was only frozen margs and not on the rocks. Overall, I think their margs weren't super flavorful, for example the lychee margarita, I wasn't able to taste lychee at all or know it was lychee besides the lychee on the top. Many flavors were just lackluster and not giving enough taste. read more

The food, drinks and ambience are stellar. Carolyn was amazing! Everything she recommended was on point. Don't leave without trying the Brussels Sprouts and lychee margarita! read more

Let me just say 10 out of 10 I do recommend I'll be back next Saturday with a group of my friends. The food was top-tier. I had a phenomenal time having dinner with my husband our waitress Araceli extraordinary she gave us top-tier service and I'm most certainly back. She did an outstanding job. Thank you so much. read more

PASS! Okay, that might be a bit harsh. The food is not THAT bad, but honestly, what is there to be impressed with? That the hostess and my server said "hi" to me when I walked in and sat down, respectively? In New York City, it is difficult enough to find quality Mexican. It goes without saying there is no need to be ripped off when trying to locate it either. For three average tasting Birria tacos, an average molcajete of yellow rice and black beans, and $33 later, this is why it does not work. This is not Texas. This is not California. This is not the American southwest, or even Florida. The whole thing felt forced, quick, and unauthentic. The best part about authentic Mexican is the great refreshing flavor, accompanied by a little quirk and a zest of flair to make it feel like one big familia. This was like here is some tacos, maybe order an alcoholic beverage or two, put on heirs, and the show is over. No, that is not it. The music is fun to listen to, but after a while, it lost its luster, and begins to be more grating than that cute vibe that brings out the sabor (or "flavor") in the food. So much for being excited to come here. I walked out feeling more ashamed than angry. At least the hostess said "bye" to me as I walked out. I much rather prefer "Adios", "Chao" or "Hasta la vista" for a more authentic Mexican vibe. Or in the case of this restaurant, "Nos vemos." read more

Absolutely loved this spot! My friend and I came here on a Wednesday night around 5pm and it was not busy at all - it began to get busy around 7pm. Definitely make a reservation! They have very cute decor and the food was delicious. We got the taco meal - I got grilled shrimp taco and lobster taco and both were flavorful. I also had a skinny jalapeño margarita, which was yummy! They had happy hour all night. Highly recommend. read more

I love it here . Drinks are always good (even if u choose house tequila, I just dont drink house anything anymore) the food is always yummy and you can always depend in friendly service . Its always busy so I recommend making reservations if its going to be more than 4 people . The space is bigger however so they definitely work in accommodating easier than other places . The decor is MEXICAN ! colorful , might see some skulls , cute art work . Go there! read more

Heard about Miti Miti and I had to try it myself. WOW. The food was great. The service was great. We order the 10 taco flight. And each taco was beyond delicious. My fav was the lobster tacos. The Brussel sprout appetizer was so delicious. I can't wait to come back and bring friends so we can do the 40 tacos flight. Only complaint is the music was a bit too loud and we had to scream over the music to talk to each other. Until next time Miti Miti!!! read more

We were planning on going somewhere else but their menu didn't have much of interested so we decided on a last minute change and went to Miti Miti. They don't take reservations so we were happy that we were able to get seating inside as it was a pretty warm day. They have a lot of margarita options so I tried the Tamarindo Mezcal margarita and my friend tried the coconut margarita. She loved it so much that I knew I had to try one. We got of chips and pico de gallo to share. My friend ordered the birria tacos and I decided to mix it up and got the jerk chicken taco, the pulled pork taco and crispy fish taco. I loved the jerk chicken taco, it was my favorite out of the three, the fish taco was a very close second but the pulled pork taco was disappointing. My friend liked her tacos but thought it could have used a little more seasoning. Surprisingly, we had a little room for dessert so we decided to share an order of churros. These were so good, especially with the caramel sauce. The service was good and it had a nice vibe inside with cool decor. I definitely recommend Miti Miti for their extensive menu and good service. read more

Miti Miti was one of our go-to spots when we lived in Park Slope. We returned yesterday after five years and it's the same great place. Carolyn was our waitress and was amazing! It's been a while since I last visited Miti Miti. During my most recent visit, the food was just as good as I remembered! The service was also outstanding! It was a hot and busy day and all the servers still gave 100%! I ordered the grilled shrimp tacos, which I highly recommend. The seasoning and flavor was on point. I also got the churros which was my favorite! It was made fresh and piping hot when I received it. I'm not much of a churros person, but these churros are so good! read more

Party of 3 came here to celebrate a calm weekday birthday dinner. We were seated right away and the waitress was quick to check on us and bring us the drinks. Margaritas were strong, mojito was mid. The food was delicious, we just ordered a bunch of tacos and sides and had more than enough food left over to bring home. Highly recommend steak chimmichurri tacos and side of maduros. UPDATE: Sooooo DISAPPOINTING!!! In the past, I've ordered delivery and eaten at Miti Miti and have had the best experiences... the food, drinks, and service were on point. Sad to say, that my experience this past Friday evening was below mediocre and really sad. Yes, COVID HAS AFFECTED BUSINESSES, BUT the difference from November 2020 to date at Miti Miti is shameful. If the owner of this establishment is aware of the changes his kitchen staff has made, he/she/they should seriously re-think this... what came out of the kitchen was insulting, underwhelming, and noticeably the work of con artists. I regret not taking pictures so that I could post the visual difference between what I ordered and received in November, compared to the trash I was served other day. To start, I ordered the lobster guacamole and lobster quesadilla, and my bestie ordered a chicken enchilada and wings. In addition, we ordered coconut mango wings and sangria. The sangria was the most enjoyable, if only thing we enjoyed. The lobster guacamole was topped with some thing that clearly wasn't lobster! I am guessing that it was a low grade of canned crab meat that was flavorless except for the excessive amount of red onions, which was all I tasted. I found all of my experiences with lobster, never is the meat gray!!!!!! With my first review, or if you look at the pictures below, there is no comparison to what I received and what I had in the past at this establishment that was known as lobster guacamole. My bestie wasn't excited about her enchilada, but for me, it wasn't too bad. The wings were really big and scary, over breaded, and not seasoned... yuck. The quesadilla I ordered was clearly one tortilla folded over and cut into four, which explains how small it was compared to my past experience. Some pieces had lobster, some did not. The scale back was evident and criminal. I spoke with the waitress about the guacamole and the other food. She was fairly new and I suppose unfamiliar with what was once a quality appetizer at this restaurant. I showed her a picture of the food I received when I was at Miti Miti in November and she was taken aback. Soon, the manager was at our table and also looked at the pictures. He excused himself to talk with kitchen staff, and came back with their excuse for the guacamole. They told him that they prepared the guacamole early in the morning, blah, blah, blah. I call bullshit and told him so. It takes 5 minutes to make guacamole, and whatever they placed on top and decided to call lobster was NOT lobster. The manager, who is also new, didn't know what to say, but he did his best to be accommodating and professional. I'm sure he was embarrassed, but that garbage was out of his control. The two stars are for the manager and waitress. The kitchen staff needs to go! If the owner condones their output, he/she/they needs to step it up and bring the quality back to their kitchen. All of the excuses provided by the kitchen staff were disrespectful, PERIOD! read more

Carolyn is the best she funny and on fast! Miguel also cool and very helpful!! Thanks to you both for making my bday brunch awesome!! The service was A+ We sat outside but the heating system they have is very good and strong! We did not feel cold and even had to take a layer off after a drink or 2. I ordered the street corn which had a chipotle mayo and cheese. For my entrée I had the huevos rancheros with a side of crispy fried pork.....delicious!!! It had a nice red sauce, black beans, cotija cheese, pico AND the tortillas was still crispy. The boozy brunch was well worth it, especially since you can try soooo many flavors. I had visited their South Orange location previously and had a good experience so I decided to visit the flagship and was not disappointed. My server's name was Jennifer and she was MAGICAL. Started with lychee frozen margaritas and Mezcal Mules. Heavy pours and quick refills without us having to ask. The starters were Miti Nachos (the plate they came on was bigger than my head) loaded to the brim with veggies cheese and beans but the tortilla chips somehow stayed sturdy all the way through the meal which is hard to do. Next course was the Chicken Tortilla Soup which was spiced to perfection with small chunks of avocado mixed in. I'll definitely be back very soon and will be bringing even more company! read more

I went to Miti Miti with a friend in June for some tacos and it was a nice experience. I ordered the coconut shrimp taco, jerk chicken taco and the carne asada taco with a side of guacamole and chips to share and my friend ordered the birria tacos. The coconut shrimp taco was amazing and the crispy fried coconut infused shrimp with the sauce was a great combination! The jerk chicken taco wasn't seasoned enough to my liking and didn't have enough of a kick (but maybe it's my fault for ordering jerk chicken from a mexican spot!). The carne asada taco tasted pretty standard compared to other restaurants. The guacamole and chips were nicely seasoned and they give you a nice amount of chips. My friend didn't enjoy his birria tacos as much, they were a little dry and not super flavorful. For drinks I ordered the lychee mojito and my friend ordered the sangria. While they give you a little more drink in terms of volume, I didn't like the mix of my lychee mojito (might have been the rum they used). My friend also didn't finish his sangria. The service was great and the atmosphere gives me trendy tiki vibes. It's a casual spot where you would take a group of friends to to have a good time. Overall there are some hit and misses on the menu but Miti Miti is a great place to come to if you order the right things! read more

Came here for brunch and was not disappointed! The Mexican decor was authentic with the bright colors and prominent figures/cultural aspects throughout. As my friends and I were seated we were greeted with our friendly server and a menu that boasted the face of Frida Kahlo. I knew then the food was going to be great lol. The menu is so extensive especially the taco options. I got the coconut shrimp with mango salsa taco and stayed authentic with a rice and beans side. It was sooooo flavorful all the way to the black beans. It was the 2nd best coconut shrimp I ever had. My friend got a chicken burrito, which was big, and was less authentic with fries on the side. She could barely finish it but also couldn't stop eating it cause of how good it tasted. My other friend got the baked egg dish and her plate, like mine, was "licked" clean. We also got passionfruit mimosa which were good. The dj played alot of 2000s r&b hip hop mixes so it was pretty nostalgic. BEWARE: My only negative input is gratuity is included at 20% even for small parties like us (we were only 3 ppl). Other than that Miti Miti was that girl! Even on a rainy day. read more

My friend and I visited Miti Miti to try their iced mexican churro latte and boy were we impressed! First of all, I have to say that whoever runs their Instagram handle is amazing! They always respond under comments and repost my stories. They actually found me on Instagram first and since then I made it my mission to visit! My review is based soley on the churro latte and the outdoor dining. We visited in November and sat outside which was covered by a huge tent. If you go towards the back of the tent, it opens up to the parking lot which is super convenient. I believe you have to pay for parking in the lot and out in front of the restaurant. Once we were seated, we couldn't help to notice the extensive menu they had! Everything from empanadas to mexican street corn to tacos, quesadillas, platters and more! We ordered the iced mexican churro latte which is sweetened and topped with a warm churro. For a 16oz, it's $5.50 and for a 24oz, it's $6.50. Of course we would buy an iced coffee in the middle of November lol! But it was so good. Their outdoor dining area is pretty spacious too with a lot of seating. The inside is a little small as it's just for ordering and pickup. I cant wait to visit and try more menu items! read more
