We waited for over twenty minutes to take our order, they never refilled our water and it took (not surprisingly again) another really long time for our check. Decided to stop in after work and check out their "Taco Tuesday" happy hour specials and I am so glad I did. I came with my cousin and 4 year old son after seeing that they were "kid-friendly". To start we ordered the Miti Nachos and added guacamole. We devoured thenachos, they were sooo good, they had beans, and cabbage and cucumbers which I think added a freshness to a typically heavy app. We also ordered the carne Asada tacos, jerk chicken tacos, and fried fish tacos. The only one I'd skip were the fried fish tacos, they were the least flavorful to me. For drinks we had the frozen margaritas and mojitos, both very delicious ohhh and I can't forget the churros for dessert. Perfect way to end a meal. This is my third time visiting this spot and the reason I've returned is because the food and drink were so good. Today 6/25 the service was pure garbage, sorry to say. The hostess always looks bored and does poorly her job. The waiter took forever to greet us and take at least our drink order. By the time he came he barely introduced himself. My partner and I placed our orders, food amd drinks arrived a bit later. We ordered the jalapeño mac and cheese with smokey bbq wings, jerk honey wings and buffalo wings. The wings were very crispy but unfortunately all the sauce was in the bottom of the bowl. The only wings i would recommend are the buffalo wings. The Mac and cheese was so watered down i wouldn't recommend at all and I've ordered this in my previous visits, the previous times I've had it it was so cheesy and delicious. Whoever was the chef this night did a horrible Job. I ordered 2 drinks the red sangrita and a margarita on the rocks. The sangrita was good as always but the margarita was horrible. Couldve poured it down the drain. Bartender was no good. I went from having a great experience with servicw and food to sub par especially for the prices customers are paying because this place is not cheap. At one point the terrifying half face clown man from AHS was there and I was suddenly VERY interested in chanting ("it's ok, he's not real. he wants tacos - not faces.") and gazing at the fine details of my plate. Boozy brunch is more unlimited than bottomless. You can order different flavors through your sitting, which they bring in a new glass each time. If you're prepared and know your next order, they'll happily bring the next before you've finished your first tho. Do that and you'll hack bottomless brunch (and get wasted too). I got the pork belly hash, which had large chunks of delicious fat belly to coat my own fat belly and help with all the drinks. Yesterday on August 3 I went with a friend for after work drinks and dinner. the seating is a little small for my taste the tables were extremely small but the place is small so I understood thatI ordered a mango margarita and it was really weak I' then ordered a regular margarita and that wasn't good so I replaced that with a monitor which was even more so for bartending if they get a 1. I ordered the honey jerked wings and really should have asked if there was a sauce but with a name like that I just assumed oops my bad no sauce they were fried extremely well though. Food & drinks were amazing (I love that they have so many gluten free/vegan options) & service was pretty good, but it was a busy Friday night so we felt that lacked a little bit. This place is where it's at. My friend and I came here for a late Sunday dinner and happily stumbled upon their ALL NIGHT HAPPY HOUR. That's right, folks - classic or flavored mojitos, margaritas, and any other drinks you want for single digit prices. Too good. I usually judge a Mexican place based off their guac, but we opted for the hot queso dip instead and it was like slap yourself levels of good. The flavor distribution was, dare I say, nearly perfect. And then they hit us with a big bowl of salsa that was also excellent - I'm not a huge fan of chunky salsa and this salsa was almost borderline watery but the flavors were so vibrant and delicious that I am loathe to criticize. We each got 2 taco meals - they come with actually some of the best rice and beans I've ever had and delicious, sweet maduros for under $20. We were both so full we each took a taco and the accompanying rice, beans, and maduros home because the food is that good and that filling. Service is pretty good, too!
