Came into mission for brunch before a nats game on a weekend. We made a reservation beforehand and were escorted upstairs to a table. The interior is quite spacious with a modern feel. The upstairs bar is also very large and there was live music playing. Our server was helpful and quick, the prices were reasonable as well. My breakfast bowl was delicious, it had eggs, cheese, chicken, and tortilla strips in it. The green sauce was a little too spicy for my liking but overall it hit the spot. My friends tacos looked and tasted delicious. The bathroom lights were cool and the area was well maintained. Loved this location because of how close it is to the stadium and bull pen! We will be back!

Ashley and Mia were wonderful! I'm vegan and not too many places by the ballpark have good food that can meet my dietary restrictions. Mission served it up! Delicious food! Margaritas were absolutely refreshing with a bit of attitude! Don't worry, they tailor the attitude to suit your needs Wonderful atmosphere and service! Put this place as must go!

What a great time after the Nats (WINNING) game! Thanks to Maddy F and Preston, Mission was THE only right post-game decision. Best drinks. Best service. Best bartenders. Vibes unmatched. Will be back and hope those two are too!

I love the DuPont location; it's always been a personal favorite. I was excited to try Mission Navy Yard for a Sunday Football visit. The food was solid and reliable. I had the queso, a diet coke, and their signature wings, all of which were good. It was missing that sports bar vibe as it was a bit empty, but service was a little slow. Overall, a pretty decent experience!

Mission at the Navy Yard stands within steps away from Washington Nationals Park. Prior to my visit, I do recognize other options were favored based on recent reviews, but I took the chance, and I do regret it. Be it an off day or the standard of service in this restaurant, Mission was not it for me. Disappointing. On the day of my visit, IDs were being checked at the door. And it went downhill from there. Arrived on the 2nd floor and was told service would be quicker sitting at the bar versus at the bartops. The bartenders on the day of our visit seemed really spaced out. It may be the combination of bombardment of crowds from the game and heat, it has been a while since I received service with very poor interaction. Cold, hesitant, and impatient. Orders were simple, as offerings of the day are simple. Nothing complicated, but chips, salsa, and tacos... the meal was bland and passable. Goodness gracious, no thank you. Maybe another day.

Mission Navy Yard was a fun spot! Went for a post-work college alumni event with friends and had a great time trying their drinks and enjoying the beautiful day. Mission is a bit smaller than I expected, but had enough room to fill what seemed to be 70-80 people. My friends and I enjoyed the spicy chips and salsa that paired well with our drinks. Definitely not my go-to spot in Navy Yard, but a decent choice nonetheless!

I stopped by Mission with a friend prior to going to a DC United game. I ended up getting three tacos, hot honey salmon, boom boom chicken, and arrachera steak. Energy was high good music and all around good vibes. Food was fantastic and definitely more filling than I thought it was going to be.

A fun place to end the evening with dinner. After going over to enchant at Nats park a few friends and I went to Mission. Definitely a cool vibe in restaurant part and also there was a bar area but we had someone under 21 with us so we had to go to the restaurant which was totally fine. We started with some quaso and chips. Which was pretty good. Had a nice heat to it along with gooy cheesy. Would recommend starting with it. I got enchiladas with Carnitas. It was well cooked with cheese full melted along with the carnitas. The carnitas was well seasoned was just a little over done and tasted a bit dry. It was well balanced with the enchilada sauce which was the star of the dish and created a great balance of savory and spicy. My friends got tacos and the dinner burrito. Everyone said they really liked it. Overall the next time Im in navy yard I will be back and would recommend to others.

Dacha is a semi-outdoor beer garden across from Nat's Park and a short walk from Audi Field, making it the perfect storm to collect a massive crowd before a game. We arrived shortly before happy hour ended, about two hours before a Friday night Spirit game and were able to get a table. Dacha did fill up quickly, but with plenty of seating and an open section with standing tables in the center, there was still room to move around. With the glass walls surrounding us, we felt like we were in a garden. The noise level, while high, was not as bad as Solace, and we were still actually able to hear each other. Our server did not check on us as time went by, but she did bring us waters as soon as we were seated, which really exceeds my expectations for a beer garden. Our food and drinks arrived quickly and were super tasty. Both the flagship lager and IPA were drinks I'd order again, and as a vinho verde admirer, I appreciated having that as an option on the HH menu. While the skinny burger is delicious, the real star of the HH menu is the fried pickles, homemade and flavorful and piping hot. I'm eager to go back for another pregame and try the HH cocktail, perhaps sampling something from the regular menu as well.

Trouble Bird was the answer to my prayers on a recent trip, where I was looking to have high quality drinks and a laid-back NON-commercial vibe with my team. We liked it so much, we came twice in one week, and I was impressed at their ability to handle and be comfortable for a large group in a space that can feel intimate. The lighting is nice and moody, the menu available via QR code, and the WiFi free and listed with password for patrons to use. We had excellent service both times, by the two folks working each night for a groups of 6-8 each time. There was something for everyone from the nondrinkers to the beer enthusiasts, to cocktail aficionados like myself. There's an amazing happy hour deal, with discounts on drinks all Monday and reduced prices for a couple of hours on other weekdays; it almost felt criminal how generous the happy hour was when I've gotten used to paying $20 for a mediocre cocktail at other nearby establishments. And the cocktails here are really very good, probably the best in the area, except for their immediate next door neighbor. The group favorite cocktail was the Midori sour which was incredibly well balanced and refreshing, and the surprising crowd pleaser was the Hamilton Dry Float, which came in a creepy tiki mug presentation that we really loved. We had a couple of the bar bites - the spiced peanuts were well loved across the group but my person favorite food item was the blistered shishitos, which came with a great chipotle aioli. The bathrooms are extremely clean and overall this was a bar favorite for the group for our week of going out and socializing together. Overall this is a gem of a neighborhood hangout with really excellent cocktails and service! Will absolutely come here next time I'm in town!

The pretzel bun they brought out was over toasted and looked like it was pretty dry before that. Like it was HARD. Cait took care of it right away; I asked for just a new bun - I don't mind swapping it out myself. But in the end the burger was still just meh. Almost forgot to mention the fries .. not great. They were salted well but the fries themselves were almost chewy. When we checked out, Cait said apologized and mentioned some staffing issues. She offered to get in touch with some sort of compensation but didn't offer to waive our one beer. We left paying full price for everything. Again, fine spot if you just wanted to hang out and drink beer.
