I stopped by on a random Tuesday, and was immediately greeted with a hello and smile from Pablo. Pablo was very nice and helpful along with Jonathan, We chose to sit at the bar, this place let you purchase items using bitcoin and you receive 21% off. The place has been open for 2 weeks and will expand within 6 months with a steakhouse downstairs. I ordered the buffalo tenders and it came with fries, coleslaw and pickles on the side. The tenders were delicious very moist and seasoned good. I ordered 2 drinks which was a specific margarita that included reposada tequila, grand mariner with grapefruit, lime and other fruit juices, very good for $14. (Very similar to Cadillac Margarita) The place itself is huge, they have a large lounge area also, I will definitely return soon.

What a fun bar to pop into! This is a quintessential DC bar for a cold evening with dark wood and great drinks. The 'Washington place' cocktail (essentially an old fashioned) was great, and there was an open table for our party of 5 on a Tuesday night. They had cocktails, wine and beer. It's very close to Carmines and was a perfect spot for a pre- dinner cocktail. Definitely recommend!

We found this pub while looking for a place within walking distance to grab something to eat during our DC trip. We were greeted when we walked through the door and offered to sit at the bar or table seating. We were advised if we sat at a table we would still need to place our order at the bar as there was no table service so we decided to sit at the bar. Our server was Moses, who had great energy, was able to give us some feedback on the drink menu and the happy hour specials. We decided on a hot dog which was delicious and is served with chips, an order of fries, and our drinks. My sister and I got a Pino Grigio and my cousin got a beer on tap. It was a Friday so the atmosphere was live and people continued to stop in during our visit. We enjoyed our food and our drinks! The only disappointment was we wanted to try their cherry blossom drink but was told they were out of the cherry blossom garnish and could not make the drink. However, I would definitely return if I am ever back in the area:)

Was disappointed to lose the last spot here, but so freaking happy it's been replaced by Pubkey! The ambiance is so cozy. Your new local bar that's a perfect spot for a chill hang and catchup with friends or to watch a sports game. Had the triple cheeseburger and OMG! Was almost too decadent; was overflowing with cheese and caramelized onions. Will go for a single or double next time, but definitely don't regret my decisions tonight. For my drink, I had the Pleb (a miller high life with Campari and sweet vermouth). Delicious and very refreshing! Was served at the bar by John and what a great guy! We had a wonderful time! Give Pubkey a try!!!! Fantastic food & drinks, for a fantastic price! This'll be my go-to spot in town!

PubKey has quickly become one of my favorite spots in the city. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and hands down one of the best Guinness pours I've had anywhere. You can tell they take pride in what they do. Whether you're stopping in for a drink or staying awhile, it's always a great experience. Highly recommend.

Cool spot! Burger was AMAZING. The sauce was 10/10. Fries were salty and crispy. Bartenders were friendly and talkative.

The drinks are a good price and they stock classic British pub favourites from Magners Apple on tap to a large variety of Irish whiskey. The food is very reminiscent of british pub food. The fish a chips are good considering they don't have the typical British chippy oil. We also had the batter sausages. Of course nothing will compare to English chippy battered sausages in size and taste but these one were still good and reminded me of home! The servers were wonderful and kind! The atmosphere was very similar to a typical British pub. My husband and I really enjoyed ourselves! If you're a long way from home, this place will make you feel like you're back at your local pub!

Runners just do that. Run around the restaurant throwing food down on tables and run back to the kitchen. Never checking on anyone to see if they need anything and how the food is. I ordered the SW Salad ($16.50) with a steak add on ($9.00) at medium temp. I also ordered a cup of Clam Chowder ($5.95) as an appetizer. Chowder came out pretty much right on top of my salad, but no big deal. Chowder was decent taste, but only found one clam. Ok whatever. Salad came out looking like a side salad on a large plate with five slices of rare, tough steak. It was so rare, that it was extremely hard to cut through, but again, who was I going to talk to about it. No wait staff would even look my way. I couldn't even get a refill on my water and there is no place in the app to order a glass of water...so that's that. Unfortunately it was just an extremely bad experience for $40. I'll be looking for dinner somewhere else tomorrow night.

Ordered the leek/mushroom omelet and the French toast (which is really a decadent bananas foster in disguise). Both are killer. Decided to get some take-out for the kids and went with fish & chips and mac & cheese and nearly didn't serve it to them, wanted to devour it myself. This is where Brookland's Finest used to be. The interior has been revamped and the new design makes it more functional and inviting. It seems like there's more seating. The space can be opened up to let in the gentle breezes, so pleasant. I visited as part of the full experience -- dinner downstairs at Birch & Barley, then up to Churchkey for drinks -- and honestly, it's one of the best evenings I've had in DC. Churchkey itself is everything a great bar should be. The beer selection is absolutely unreal -- hundreds of carefully curated labels spanning every style, region, and flavor profile you can imagine. What sets it apart is that the staff actually knows the menu. Our server walked us through a few options based on what we liked and landed us on perfect picks both times. That kind of genuine expertise is rare. The tavern pizzas from the wood-fired oven were a wonderful surprise -- thin, crispy, and the perfect companion to a cold draft. The smash burger also deserves a mention: simple, well-executed, and hits the spot. The vibe is warm and lively without being overwhelming. Great for a date, a group, or even just sitting at the bar solo with a good beer and good conversation with the bartender. This place has earned its reputation as one of the best beer bars on the East Coast -- and then some. Highly recommend making a full night of it with both floors. You won't regret it.
