    Wings, chicken flautas

Stopped in to Agua 301 for happy hour on a Friday evening. I sat at the bar as I usually do. Service was terrible. No acknowledgement, no menu, no water... about 15 minutes later, she asked what I wanted to order. I have never been here before. I'd like to see the menu, please. I ordered the classic margarita, wings, and chicken flautas. The margarita was watered down, unsurprising for happy hour. The wings had good flavor, 6 wings for $8.50 on happy hour... Pretty standard. The flautas were bland, would not order again. Never saw of heard from the bartender again, she did not make a round before happy hour ended. Several people at the bar wanted to order another drink but she was slow and did not serve people well. Never got water, never got silverware or a napkin. This place charges auto gratuity 20%. I would not provide a 20% tip for this lack of service. I will not come back here. There are better options in the DC Navy Yard for food, ambiance, happy hour, etc.

My friend suggested this spot for Saturday brunch, and I'll admit I was a little skeptical at first. I don't usually hang out in Navy Yard, and when I checked the menu online, I didn't see anything about a bottomless option. Our reservation was for 1 PM, and while it wasn't very crowded, there were a few people enjoying the outdoor seating. Our waitress, Sandra, was absolutely amazing, warm, attentive, and super helpful. She recommended the steak and eggs, and I'm glad she did, the steak was cooked perfectly. For $25, you can do bottomless margaritas, and Sandra made sure my glass was never empty. Between the great food, flowing drinks, and relaxed atmosphere, it was the perfect day for brunch with friends. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area!

Came for happy hour on a Wednesday evening. We sat outside. It was kind of chilly so someone lit the fire pit, at our table, for us We ended up parking in the parking lot, which is a few businesses down Restaurant overlooks the water/bridge. We saw black hawk helicopters doing training exercises a good bit Our waiter was cool, but unfortunately we didn't see him but once after we placed drink orders, and so we and another table weren't able to order more food and drinks until after 630pm of which HH was over Nachos were delish!!! I literally ate the entire plate lol Beef empanadas were just okay Baja Fish tacos were tasty! Chicken wings are okay

The food overall was surprisingly tasty. I got a sample of tacos. The pork with pineapple was my favorite flavor wise but it was fairly dry. The sides were also bland. Some negatives: inside was very loud, the wait time for food was almost an hour, both me and my husband were still hungry when we left (granted we hadn't eaten a lot of other food that day)

Cute restaurant and service was average. I wasn't blown away with friendliness but got my water and my dish so can't complain I guess. Ordered the Birria tacos, sauce lacked flavor sadly. Next time I would probably try something else, the tacos did not necessarily rock my world because price/portion of other dishes. Overall ambiance was well, would come back if I had the need to splurge. Why charge for chips and salsa?guac needs spice. Free dulce de leche cake

Agua 301 has a great menu with a wide variety of brunch options and bottomless drinks. For bottomless, you can choose from sangria, margaritas, or mimosas, which is a great selection. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and drinks. It's an ideal spot for groups, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available. I had the chicken chilaquiles, which were delicious and very filling.

WHO: Me. An introvert extroverting. WHAT: A secret squirrel social hour. Restaurant is located in a beautiful area near the Nationals Park. A little difficult to find as it is facing the water and not very noticeable. PARKING: I ubered in for this gathering so I didn't park. But I did notice a nearby parking garage and I believe you can park at the stadium if there's not a game. SERVICE: Service was decent. Nothing over the top but we were well taken care of. FOOD: Food came out quickly but to be honest, I've had better Mexican food. Though I love their menu and drinks. I found a lot of things I wanted to try. The drink selections were my favorite. GRILLED CHURRASCO $22.00 8 oz skirt steak, with chimichurri, salsa, esquites and rice Churrasco wasn't bad though I was a bit surprised with the esquites. I wasn't expecting the corn to be on the cob. FROZEN PEACH SANGRIA $10.00 Familia Verdejo, peach puree, fresh lemon juice, and peach schnapps FROZEN MANGO MARGARITA $10.00 Tres Agave Blanco, fresh lime juice, triple sec, agave nectar, mango

Checked out this taco spot after a Nationals game to let the traffic die down. The chips and guac were solid, but the tacos were great! While not the most authentic, they had a wide selection of tacos to choose from. My personal favorites were the Baja Fish Tacos that had a great beer batter outer layer. Nice spot that's by the water for some food after a game. Apps: Chips and Guac Entrees: Baja Fish, Mango Shrimp, and Bistec Azul (steak) Tacos Sides: Rice and Black Beans Drinks: Frozen Mango Margarita

Had a intimate vacuum discussion and a flight of frozen tequila drinks. Both are not probably related. Service was excellent and the food was delicious and served quickly. The bartenders are also friendly and funny and relatable. Great happy hour m-f and worth checking out, I plan on coming back for sure.

This place has great options for happy hour which includes shareable bites and alcohol drinks. It runs Monday thru Friday from 3:30 to 6:30pm I ordered: - chips and guac: pretty standard but who can say no to chips and guac? -Barbacoa and Baja fish tacos: the barabacoa was the better choice. Meat was tender and flavorful. I did not enjoy the fish tacos as much. I think the batter on the fish was quite thick. -Chicken wings: also pretty standard -Beef empanadas: Very good. Beef was tender and flavorful. Coconut shrimp: Tasted very bland. Needs more seasoning. I did not taste a hint of coconut on the batter. -Mango margaritas: It is worth it to come for the margaritas. Might be the highlight of the meal. Enjoyed the Summer evening sipping on a marg with views of the wharf. Service was great. Our waiter was friendly and attentive.

Frozen Strawberry Margarita but heavily frozen

Located right on the Anacostia river which produces great views during the day and night. Service was fast but it was a little empty (that's ok). The menu has options that I believe cater to everyone's appetite and the HH special..can't beat it. Now to the drinks. The frozen machine needs to be inspected. I could not drink my drink for about 15 mins receiving it because the frozen margarita was so thick that I could not use the Straw or appreciate the flavor. The sangria or margarita in rocks might be your best option. But I do recommend this place for HH.

I came to Agua 301 after a boat outing with friends at the DC warf. We were a group of about 10 so I wasn't sure whether we were going to get seating. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted at the door. The ambience was casual and the noise level was on the moderate to loud side. The service was great, especially given our large group. Mango Shrimp Taco: 8.5/10. The salsa that they put on top of the shrimp was good. But the shrimp itself lacked flavor. Baja Fish Taco: 9/10. This taco was overall good. However, they didn't put enough of the salsa on it. Pork Belly Al Pastor Taco: 9/10. The Al Pastor was seasoned well but it was a bit overcooked. Classic Margarita: 10/10

I was pulling up Yelp to see what bar we wanted to go after and saw this on the list. We walk into the ramen spot and ask where the speakeasy is and the guy led us to the back and showed us to some stairs to go down. Seriously, how COOL is this place??? The neon lights were so fun! We walked into the bar and immediately loved it! Good amount of bar seating plus some comfy couches and whatnot. There was music but it wasn't too obnoxious, we were still able to have conversations - it was surprisingly chill and exactly what we were looking for. Chatted to the bartender who made some fancy shots for us, had a few drinks. It was not busy at all on a Sat night which was nice. It is very dark inside even with the neon lights so it does make it hard to read the menus (had to use flashlights on our phone). But super fun spot, fun drinks, not too expensive, and a neat and chill experience! It was an excellent find for us for sure!

Trouble Bird was the answer to my prayers on a recent trip, where I was looking to have high quality drinks and a laid-back NON-commercial vibe with my team. We liked it so much, we came twice in one week, and I was impressed at their ability to handle and be comfortable for a large group in a space that can feel intimate. The lighting is nice and moody, the menu available via QR code, and the WiFi free and listed with password for patrons to use. We had excellent service both times, by the two folks working each night for a groups of 6-8 each time. There was something for everyone from the nondrinkers to the beer enthusiasts, to cocktail aficionados like myself. There's an amazing happy hour deal, with discounts on drinks all Monday and reduced prices for a couple of hours on other weekdays; it almost felt criminal how generous the happy hour was when I've gotten used to paying $20 for a mediocre cocktail at other nearby establishments. And the cocktails here are really very good, probably the best in the area, except for their immediate next door neighbor. The group favorite cocktail was the Midori sour which was incredibly well balanced and refreshing, and the surprising crowd pleaser was the Hamilton Dry Float, which came in a creepy tiki mug presentation that we really loved. We had a couple of the bar bites - the spiced peanuts were well loved across the group but my person favorite food item was the blistered shishitos, which came with a great chipotle aioli. The bathrooms are extremely clean and overall this was a bar favorite for the group for our week of going out and socializing together. Overall this is a gem of a neighborhood hangout with really excellent cocktails and service! Will absolutely come here next time I'm in town!
