My wife and I went without knowing anything about the place. It has a "fast food" feel, but not a fast food taste. The staff was beyond friendly, and everything was clean and well stocked. We got the 3 item sampler, and chose pulled pork, turkey breast and jalapeño sausage. It came with corn bread. No sides came with it but were offered at an additional cost. My family and I have been to a mission BBQ in Tennessee 7yrs ago. It was over the top amazing for my husbands birthday we went to Scottsdale Arizona to celebrate we found out there was a mission BBQ there oh, we had to go and see for our selves, and let me tell you the moment we walked through the door the service was amazing we were greeted and felt so welcomed. The young lady that took our order was so sweet, the chef gave us some samples to try bc there were so many great choices for a second it felt like we have been there before it didn't feel like our first time we talk with the cashier, the chief, the young lady that was cleaning up tables it felt like home. The atmosphere was so friendly and family oriented there was one special employee that stood out to me the most her name is Courtney how she greeted customers by name and how she was interacting with them as if they were family. Mission BBQ when you are here you are family.... This is a place that I will definetly be back to visit its an 8 hr drive from our home but if I'm ever in the area it's well worth it! So if you are looking for a place were you feel like family this is the place to.stop by have some great food enjoy great hospitality and make some wonderful memories And the food oh, my gosh the meat is so tender we had the brisket basket delishes and you must try the banana pudding it's so so so delicious 5 stars I would give more if it didn't limit me to 5 stars. Couple of things. If you care about the little things, ask them to weigh the meat in front of you. They tend to under supply. I got .4lb instead of .5 for the $15 brisket portion. I would avoid the cheesecake, just because it's 90% cream cheese filling. Personally that's too much for me, the graham cracker base and portion size is laughably small. The "lean" is super dry but they warn you on this, and the "moist" will include a ton of fat. But I do like that they give you a choice, the service is very fast, and the workers have a great attitude. read more

I'm a little unsure how to write this but here it goes, first visit ( Goodyear)was 5 stars, everything was outstanding, Brisket was juicy and tender, collard greens outstanding- second trip ( paradise valley) was less than a 1 star- brisket and turkey were like eating shoe leather( seemed like it had been pre sliced and set and dried out)collard greens were extremely salty. It's alright, but nothing compared to Little Miss BBQ. Very comparable to Dicky's BBQ that use to be in the area I'm sure I'll give it another chance, but not for a while. Such a disappointment. I order the 3 meat sampler. Double the brisket and pork ribs. Well for $20 I only got 3 pieces of dried brisket when I ordered moist and not lean, two fingers length of pork ribs dried of course and a dried up corn bread. A side of baked beans and small drink for $28.99. My wife wanted to eat teriyaki chicken from Panda Express and her food cost $10. I ordered a large meal for four people because we were playing cards over at my house Sunday afternoon. I picked it up at noon & brought the masterpiece meal home and it was fantastic. We had ribs, coleslaw, baked beans and cornbread. Everybody was saying how wonderful and tasty to food was. The pork baby back ribs fell off the bones. I'll be back many times. This is by far the best BBQ I have ever had!!!! The pulled pork combo has me sold on this great place!!!!! And the baked beans, YUM!!!! We were welcomed when we entered the restaurant and the nice girl came out from behind the counter & explained everything to us as it was our first, but NOT my last time going there!!! One special thing they did was at 12Noon they play the Star Spangled Banner and it made this 2 year Vietnam Veteran feel even more at home!!!!! We are visiting from CA and we're looking for some good bbq that we could get and bring back to our rental to enjoy. From the very first phone call to place the order to pick up, the staff was so nice! So helpful! Just went above and beyond to answer my questions about GF options. The place is clean, decked out to give tribute to our service men and woman and first responders. I had the pulled pork and it was moist and delicious!! The fries were amazing as well. The rest of our group had ribs and they said the meat just fell off the bone. We will be back!!! read more

The food was great. Had to wait and remind them of the French fries we were missing. When they brought the fries they included a banana pudding, which was ok. I informed the gentleman who brought the fries I thought one of the sauces was going bad, little bubbles in it. He said it was just made yesterday so he doubted it was bad and if it was shaken it would be ok. There was only about a quarter left in the bottle at lunchtime. He then put it back into the holder and walked away, leaving it on the table. I have 40 plus years in the culinary field and know what a tomato based product left out at room temperature will look like when it starts to go bad. Not sure if if ever got removed. read more

Wow, i have been waiting for this place to open and all i can say is wow! I've been around BBQ and i was thinking ok, another BBQ place. This (in my opinion) is THE best in the valley! Atmosphere is great. Staff were above and beyond friendly, from the counter to the table touches! Brisket, moist and fatty and smoky. No sauce needed. Turkey was just right! The ribs, oh man. Have you heard the saying fall off the bone. Yup! Cornbread was sweet and just the right amount of moisture. It was just missing some honey butter. Green beans had great flavor but a bit overcooked. The beans were soooo good and with the brisket they throw in made it even better. The mac and cheese was spot on. Sweet tea, yes please! I think i tried 5 sauces and they were all great.
