It's incredible how they have so many types of salads. Salads I've never even heard of. I didn't know that there were this many types of salads. They've got seasonal salads with salami. They've got salads like buffalo chicken. I love this place. I don't know how they make money, but I feel healthy and good. The dressing is delicious. I'm not one to order drinks at food establishments (unless it's boba or coffee), but you have to order one here. At $1 for a cold brew, lemonade, or iced tea, how can you pass up this deal? Salad and Go is the perfect pandemic pick! The restaurant was designed to be contact free! I love that they have a separate drive-thru for online orders at the one on Cactus. That just rocks! I can order it from home, drive to get it and be home in less than 10 minutes! It's so convenient! I hope the new Indian School one will have an online order line too! I've recently switched from the balsamic dressing to the red wine vinegar (the only two vegan options). I like it much better! I also learned that the croutons are vegan! I hope they add some fruit options in for the summer months. It's so convenient, you can order ahead or order there, you just drive thru and off you go. We ordered online and were able to customize our salads. Once you arrive, there is a dedicated line to online order pick up and another for ordering on the spot. We immediately were greeted and our food was ready to go at the promised time. I had the BBQ Ranch salad and added chicken. It comes with pico de gallo, corn, black beans, cheese, avocado and bbq ranch dressing. I like that you get your dressing in a packet so you can control how much you want on it. We also had a chicken caeser which was enjoyed as well. Salad for a meal? Drive-through? Reasonable price? Yes to everything when you have a Salad and Go restaurant nearby. One opened up recently near Tatum and Cactus, and every day, my wife would tell me about it until we actually went. Now...every week, we typically have a Salad and Go night! And every time, we make sure to order it through the Salad and Go app. We even have our regular orders! I typically go for a classic chicken Caesar salad while my wife enjoys the Build Your Own Salad option, which as a tip, you can do through the app though it is not listed as an option on the website menu. We both really enjoy these salads though they also have soups, breakfast options, protein boxes (for kids), and beverages and smoothies. There are also some great seasonal items! While the salad options are great, I know that my wife would be happier if they had garbanzo beans. The drinks are offered for only $1 for any size. I'd recommend the sangria lemonade (24 oz over 16 oz since they are the same price). The size of the plastic to-go containers for the salads are perfect for shaking/mixing the salad when getting home. Upon arriving, there are two lines. One line is for anyone placing an order right then and there. There could be quite a line there as the staff get orders ready. The other line is for online orders (including through the app). We always go into the second line and there is never a wait to drive up to the window. On the other hand, after ringing the door bell, we have had to wait about 3-4 minutes at times before even being greeted. Our order, however, has always been ready within about three minutes of the estimated time given. We even have had fun making up famous couple names, which the staff have even noted on our receipt before. Very polite and friendly staff! Finally, I enjoyed reading about the Lower Price Initiative on their website (https://saladandgo.com/notice-meters) where the price for salad with chicken or tofu used to be $7.18 in May 2018, then $6.82 in June 2018, $6.46 in October 2018, and now only $5.74 in October 2019. This is because of people sharing, coming often, and helping to reduce waste.
