My wife always speaks so highly of açaí bowls, and I recently learned that 3Natives opened up near me. I stopped by one morning and picked up some lunch. I enjoyed my conversations with the staff working. While I don't try the açaí bowl this time, I did get some food, and I was delighted with what I tried. The menu has a lot of options from açaí bowls, bagels, toasts, hot and pressed wraps, and wraps and salads. They also have smoothies, juices, shots, and snacks. I ordered a sandwich, The Hawaiian, a Hot & Pressed that included chicken breast, spinach, purple cabbage, carrot, and pineapple. It came with a bag of chips and some ginger dressing. It made for a delicious lunch! I learned about the regular and gluten free granola options, so I plan on stopping by again with my wife so that she can order an açaí bowl. While the food was great, the customer service I experienced was top notch. The team member working answered my many questions about food items and shared a bit about the company. As the only location in Arizona, I was intrigued to learn they have 40 locations around the country with 30 more on the way. Many of their locations are on the East Coast (in Florida). I stopped in and ordered the beet juice and the California bagel and both were really good. Everything felt light, fresh, and healthy which is exactly what I was looking for. The juice was delicious and refreshing. The bagel was tasty but I did find myself wishing it had a little extra something like a touch of salt or a fluffier base. I got the Nutella crunch which was delicious. Also loved the beet juice. They have plenty of fresh juices for sale. They use high quality and fresh ingredients. Such an awesome experience at 3Natives!! The owner greeted myself and my two teens at the register when we walked in. The store was clean, bright, and super welcoming! The owner walked us through the menu and provided a few recommendations baes on current popular items. All three of us order açaí bowls, and I have to admit that they're the BEST we've all ever had!! The fruit and açaí were so fresh and flavorful! I loved the option to customize items in the bowls to fit your preferences. I had the Local, my son had the PB&A, and my daughter had the Nutella bowl. All were delicious in their own way and so very fresh. The acai blend/base was so flavorful and different (in a good way) from others I have tried. Such a lovely and refreshing addition to the health food scene in Phoenix! Clean and airy space, knowledgeable staff! I asked for a suggestion that was high protein, low sugar and was directed to their hot & pressed sandwiches, wraps and salads. When I asked about smoothies, they suggested the greener options and I settled on the "Going Green," which has banana, pineapple, kiwi, kale and coconut water. To cut down on sugar, they suggested replacing the banana with almond butter (I asked about vanilla protein powder and they said their powder tends to be on the sweeter side, and I really appreciated that insight). Also, they used more kiwi and kale than pineapple to keep the sugar down. I am very impressed by the thoughtfulness of the staff and their understanding of their ingredients. At first entrance, the store is very cute and clean. The staff was very friendly and kind. I got a regular açaí bowl and it was packed with delicious sweet fruit! Usually I'll notice that places will skimp on the fruit, but not here. Each fruit that was added to the bowl was packed to the brim. The açaí itself was really yummy. The staff here are so so nice! I felt bad coming 30 minutes before close but they emphatically welcomed me and my family in and were happy to take our orders. Went for the grand opening! It was a very cute grand opening, there was raffle tickets and balloon animals and face painting and fun music. The line was quite long at 1:15pm on a Saturday but that was expected for $2 Smoothies (I thought there was also $5 wrap special but I guess it was only on Sunday). They were doing a great job getting the line moving, I can only imagine the stress. I ordered the Callie special, it was okay. I liked it more I drank it, nice and thick at least. Mom got all hopped up smoothie, thought it was meh, I agreed, didn't have much flavor. My dad got the jam smoothie, the thickest of the three, also just okay. Worth the $2.... I would not come here for a $10 smoothie. The size and flavor profile does not justify $10 to me. I've only been to three tornadoes a couple of times but was super impressed. Both the first time we got a couple of smoothies. I don't remember which ones but I think one was like a peanut butter and jelly? They're both really good. Today I got an açai bowl, the JB bowl? The owner of this place is quite an amiable person. He explained to me that you can customize any of the orders by removing some fruits or replacing the ingredients with something else. This customizable opportunity was so great that I decided to do it and wondered why they didn't just have this option on their normal menu where you can create your own bowls/smoothies. Not only do they sell smoothies and bowls, they sell salads, wraps, sandwiches, and bagels. I decided to get a PB&A and exchange the acai base with their coconut base. Note that an 8oz bow cost $8.95 but the regular size is 16oz and costs $11.95. I got the regular size and was pleasantly surprised at how aesthetically pleasing all the fruit was. The fruit looked more shiny than usual which made me wonder what they did to make it look so presentable. Either way, it tasted as good as it looks. The fruit was so fresh and sweet. Their smoothies only come in one size which looked like a small cup size from Jamba. Smoothies cost $9.95. I would say that I highly recommend the fruit bowls over smoothies as you get more out of it. Service was extremely amiable. The whole place was very clean. I went to 3Natives today after my work out at EOS and I must say I'm extremely glad I did!! I was looking for a healthy restaurant that had wraps, salads and smoothies and this did not disappoint!
