Brand new spot in Dover. Great, friendly service. Limited menu but good options. They do have fish for the non meat lover. Flavors are a bit bland but they have plenty of sauces for you to flavor it to your liking. Corn bread is delish. read more

OK, I'm going to be "that guy"... Great barbecue, but I'm only giving 3 stars because of the overzealous "patriotism" in this place. I was in here with co-workers for lunch. We arrived around 11:45 or so, ordered and got our food. As we were sitting and eating, at noon, an announcement was made to stand and honor America with the playing of the national anthem. Everyone in the place stood, some awkwardly, some confused, and some gung-ho. I was one of the awkward ones. Now don't get me wrong... I love America, but I just wanted to eat my lunch, not participate in some uber-patriotic ritual that makes some people that didn't serve feel better about themselves. *side note* Funny that a place like this DOESN'T offer a military discount* I'm not impressed. It all seemed kind of like a phony gimmick to me. I don't think I'll be back anytime soon, at least not during lunch, which is a shame because the food is awesome. Oh, and before you start making assumptions... I'm a veteran. 20+ years of service. Retired US Air Force. read more

This place is an exception to the rule for chain restaurants. The food is very good and is available shortly after you order it at the counter. You pick it up and take your order to your table. We had the pulled chicken, pulled pork, smoked turkey and brisket. All were very good, but next time I'd order the "moist " brisket. There are six different sauces available at each table. The Mac n cheese and cheesy potato sides are to die for. read more

Food was good. They use a dry rub so the sauces are on the table to use at your discretion. 2 of us ate for roughly $20 with drinks. You can order just a sandwich or you can order a combo with a number of sides. Just depends how hungry you are. The food was fresh and I had the mac and cheese. The sandwiches come with lots of meat. Easily enough for 2 sandwiches. I don't eat bread so I enjoyed just the pulled chicken. My partner had the pulled pork and liked his. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures until we were about done. So I did take pics of the sauces and the dining room. We would stop again! read more

Prices were higher than the quality of the food. The bbq sauce on it has no savory flavors and the meat was very dry. I feel bad with this review because of their mission (Military) but they need to step of with the seasoning of their meat. read more

Closest thing to Texas bbq in Delaware. Best baked beans ever! Great smoked Turkey and pulled pork. Brisket is good. Definitely our go to bbq joint here. Friendly faces, clean, and also support troops & law enforcement. True Americans! God bless Mission BBQ! read more

Omg finally found a bbq place that's good in the south. Pulled pork is off the hook , mac and cheese , cheesy potatoes, and the cheese jalapeno sausage are amazing. OH dont forget the corn bread....off the hook. The only thing wish they would have the cheesey potatoes all year round but it's a fall thing. The best thing about them they recognize our military ....it feels do good to go in there and see how its decorated and military sitting there eating. I noticed they make donations to all different military associated organizations. read more

This is the best BBQ spot for fast food. I'm not sure if it's considered fast food but I've never waited more than 4 minutes for my order and I've waited longer at McDonalds for a sweet tea! The food is always good and I've tried just about every meat on the menu! Now I will say the sides aren't my favorite. I'm a souther girl and I think the sides have a bit of a mid-western kick to them. However, those desserts are better than a lot of sit down family restaurants! You won't be disappointed with Mission. read more

Passing through Dover from Baltimore and stopped for a quick bite at Mission BBQ. I rarely write reviews but had to give shout outs to the staff at this location, especially the manager, Christian (hopefully I spelled her name right)! She was so welcoming, friendly, engaging and gives such awesome customer service. I wished all restaurants had staff like this team. Even better, food was on point! Decent choice for bbq. Food was prepared well and had good flavor. Tried a little bit of a few things; ribs, pulled pork, brisket, collard greens, mac & cheese, corn bread. Staff was very friendly and take out order was prepared quickly and packed well. Would definitely recommend. read more
