I decide to come to Mission BBQ for the first time ever and I was not disappointed. I ordered the pulled chicken sandwich with potato salad, greenbeans and the aforementioned mac and cheese. Everything was amazing. The tender chicken was piled high and falling by the waste side. Order additional sauce to give the sandwich some heft. Mac and cheese was good. Not homemade tasting but better than anything I would have found elsewhere. That's exactly what I was looking for. Potato salad was also very tasty. Not sugary sweet but chunky and vinegar. I enjoyed it. Green beans were hot and not bad. I was happy with my first experience at Mission BBQ. I will definitely eat here again. Now I'm not a big fan of bbq but after my coworkers raved about this place I had to come try it myself. This place has exceeded our expectations ! I got the brisket sandwich with fries and mac n cheese. The brisket was so tender and juicy and they have a lot of sauces at each table to flavor up your meat ! As others have mentioned, this restaurant is new to the area. Its actually a franchise, not a one off establishment. This place is very welcoming and warm and inviting. At first when you enter, it seems a little intimidating, especially if its crowded. Dont panic, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The patrons waiting to order are moved pretty fast! The staff members dont rush you through the ordering process, they are relaxed and helpful! You have a few selections to choose from, beef spare ribs pork baby backs, sandwiches, salads and sides. This place is military and first responder friendly. If you ever served in the military, it feels like you are in a USO, that serves really good food. I had the 3 meat market sampler, pulled chicken, pulled pork and sliced turkey, with green beans and corn bread. I had a sweet tea also, there are various sauces to put on your meat at each table. My meal was very delicious! If you buy a large drink a portion of the cup price goes to the USO. The restaurant is clean and there is ample space for seating. They also deliver! Im sure there is a delivery radius, but not sure how far it extends. I will definitely be a repeat customer here. I will try something different each time I eat here in the future! This place had fairly decent reviews so I was really excited to try it. The atmosphere kind of reminded me of Dickey's Barbecue with a modern spin. I ordered the one meat plate and one side and my husband ordered the brisket sandwich which also came with one side. I chose sliced brisket which came with cornbread and I chose macaroni and cheese for my side. My husband's brisket sandwich came with a side as well and he chose potato salad. Though the meat had decent smoke flavor it did not have decent seasoning and was dry and chewy. At this place you definitely have to use sauce with your meat or else it just becomes too dry. As for the cornbread, it had good flavor and texture and the macaroni and cheese was just okay. My husband's side of potato salad was okay but had a strong flavor of mayonnaise which became unappetizing after a few bites. read more

This place is absolutely amazing. From the interior design and cleanliness, to the food, to the incredible customer service. I had no idea this was a chain bbq restaurant as this was my first visit to any location, but I highly recommend if you're in the area. The meats are perfectly smoked and don't even get me started on the sides, which I believe can make or break a BBQ spot. The baked beans are scrumptious and full of pieces of brisket and the don't even get me started on the Mac-n-cheese. I had the pleasure to speak with a worker who had just recently started and he was such a kind human! He took his time to explain the background information of the creation of the restaurant and what his favorite items on the menu are. He even brought us out a free dessert! Don't be afraid to ask to sample the meats before you make a decision as they are perfectly okay with that! I only gave it 4 stars because I believe a good BBQ restaurant needs to have 1-2 sauces that they call theirs and instead of choosing a sauce, they have 6 sauce flavors at each table that I'm not even sure is made in house. Mission BBQ is one of my favorite local spots! From the open space and shack-like interior, to the incredible food, it's a pretty chill spot to hang back for a few hours. I've pretty much tried everything on the menu at this point, and there isn't ONE thing I haven't thoroughly enjoyed. They're serious about their BBQ and it shows! Their ribs were delicious - not quite "fall off the bone" but still really good, the fatty brisket was insanely tender and wonderfully Smokey, the bbq chicken was tender and packed with flavor, I love their sausage... and their sides! Don't get me started on their sides. I think the only one I didn't care for was their mac, I found it a little bland, but nothing squirting it with their amazingggg homemade barbecue sauces couldn't fix! Let me just start off by saying that Smokey Mountain BBQ sauce is to die for! I always get the pulled pork sandwich with fries and it never disappoints! It's rare that I have a big fat chunk in my pulled pork! Which is okay with me because I am not a fan of fat at all! Something about that BBQ sauce just goes perfectly with the pulled pork! They don't stop at great food either their staff is AMAZING! Like super friendly! Always have a smile on their face and always so chipper! Even when I go during lunch time (their busy time) they're always so kind and friendly making sure everyone gets everything they need and quickly! The tables are always clean, the condiment and drink sections are always clean! I don't think they anticipated being as busy and popular but they are! As a vet and a current first responder I appreciate this salute to those who protect the country, states, towns and people of the country. The food is amazing with the brisket as my personal favorite. I have to say though, if they were out of brisket I wouldn't be too sad due to everything else being so good. It is normally hard to choose so thank goodness for the three meat combo tray. If you like bar-b-que (with a good deep smoke) then this is definitely a place worth checking out.
