The outdoor space is a huge plus, with plenty of room to relax and enjoy the unique setting. What really sets Rail Haus apart is the sense of community. Whether you're stopping in for a casual drink, attending an event, or meeting up with friends, it feels like a place where people want to spend time. Dover needed a venue like this, and Rail Haus has done an amazing job creating a space that's both fun and inviting.

My wife ordered a salad. I ate my frank, my wife went to the window twice to ask about the salad. lots of strange looks. no salad. after 45 minutes, the salad shows up, its wrong. dressing is wrong. My wife complains and no one seems to care. Essentially, since you order and pay for your food using your I phone, I suppose they are not paid to care because they already have your money. Anyways, what a shame. I thought we had found a gem.

Don't drink so can't really provide any context there. I go places for the foods. I'm gluten free and they had plenty of options for me to include pizza! I ordered the fire roasted Brussels sprouts, the stuffed jalapeños, and deviled eggs for apps. My pizza was next, gluten free of course, and did not disappoint (crumbled sausage and whipped ricotta). We've found two great pizza places here recently and this is one of them! Honestly, really hard to come by good pizza in Delaware. The other menu items were serious bonuses for me since apps are lacking in this state too. Service was great, attentive enough but not over the top. Also, yes, they do offer a military discount. Good music on, quiet for a weekday afternoon which I like.. I'll be back!

The food is good, but feel the prices are a little expensive, especially for a sandwich in our area. While we appreciate that the food is fresh, and made to order, I think $18 for a turkey and cheese sandwich and almost $17 for a chicken sandwich is expensive. The lunch included fries, and the kids liked the sandwiches. My wrap, which was $16 and included vegetables, was good and I felt the price was appropriate. This was one of the most disappointing Yelp "finds" I've experienced. The restaurant has loads of…read morepotential charm, but it's fallen into pretty rough shape. Random stuff is on empty tables all over the place, there are enough flies indoors that they needed a fly repellent fan, and the staff, including the manager, have no idea what specials are advertised on their website. For instance, Wednesday is supposed to be 1/2 price bottles of wine. This is advertised with today's date on their website. The waiter said they haven't had this special for months, and then when he asked the manager about it informed us that the special only actually applied to glasses of their cheapest wine. Not a good start. The restaurant was out of crab dip, the supposed "smash" burger was two grilled, gray, tough patties that didn't meet any remote definition of a smash burger. The truffle fries were ok as was the crab cake. The waiter, despite being unaware of the specials, was friendly and otherwise was efficient. This restaurant just has absolutely no business having 4 stars and anyone expecting "fine dining" as some other yelpers inexplicably wrote, will be sorely disappointed. As were we.
