She wraps it around her neck instead. She offers other services as well (waxing is with a roller not with popsicle sticks). But have only gotten my eyebrows threaded with her. I just want to add that I'm a bit obnoxious and picky about places that I go to, but Reema is truly great. She is the owner and the ONLY one there so you know you'll always get a great job done.

Still wouldn't recommend for body waxing. Also know before you go that the body waxes happen in a cubicle-like room in the back, so it's not fully closed off. No one can see in, but some people might be uncomfortable doing bikini waxes and what not in that space.

Plus, she is a license cosmetologist and teaches the women on staff. A win all the way around! They offer an array of threading services and Henna. Best of all, they have great lighting so you know they can actually see what they are doing and you can, too. Last time I was there they had also added a quaint display of scarves, bracelets and more. You can even get child sized jewelry! Walk-ins are welcome -I actually don't know if they take appointments. I asked for side bangs 3 times & each time was met with resistance. "I don't want to cut too short" I gave up after the third ask. Conversation was also intrusive - where do you live? What's your job? What's your ethnicity? This is supposed to be a relaxing experience, not an interrogation. Total bill $145. Will not be going back for sure.

I recently moved to the area and went to Nail 7 to get gel powder (ANC). When I arrived, I had get…read morepowder on my nails from 2 weeks prior, when I had my nails done at my former salon in a different city. The nail tech here started using the electric nail filer (nail drill) on my nails to get the polish off, but I explained that my nails are super sensitive to the heat that comes off those machines, so I prefer to have my nails wrapped in tin foil and nail polish remover to get the polish off. She said that the electric filer, was the only way to get the polish off, that there was no other way to do it, to which I explained, "I undersand it's your preference to use the nail drill because it's faster, but it's not the only way. I've had my nails done with gel powder for nearly 5 years and you can wrap my nails in polish remover." She argued with me again and said there was no other way to do it. I decided to let her use the drill since I was already there and needed my nails done for an upcoming event and within minutes, was pulling my hand away in reaction to the heat--I explained again that I wished my nails weren't so sensitive to the heat, but that they are. She then spoke with her coworkers in a different language, and she insisted again that there was no other way, and I repeated myself that there was another option and didn't understand why they wouldn't just wrap my nails in polish remover. Stubborn and argumentative, I ended up leaving with a half done set of nails. Seems this salon doesn't understand the concept of supporting the customer's needs. I won't be back.

This past weekend, I went to AT Deluxe with my friend for a UV gel manicure and a pedicure. Immediately, they offered to complete both services at once, which was so nice. The pedicures were standard, and very nice results, but expensive. However, both of our manicures are not nice. Both applications are incredibly thick, and chipping after one day. I am going to a new nail salon tomorrow to get these removed because of how thick they are. I really enjoyed my first experiences, but I will not be returning. At $145 each before tip for our services, I would expect a higher quality.
