My stylist was friendly, professional, efficient. I did request a fade on the sides and back which I didn't get. The price of their most basic men's haircut, which I guess would be the Supercut I, is borderline competitive, a bit more competitive if you are a regular and take advantage of the discounts. But the cost for everything beyond that adds up very quickly. For me the, men's package I get with my regular stylist is more complete, more detailed, and a better value. This is an okay place to come in a pinch, on short notice, and now that I'm at least in their database, I can pursue discounts if I come back.

The wait is always at least 40+ minutes, even if you have an appointment and show up on time. It's normally one stylist working the store, and she's always behind. I walked in, there was no one else present, and I was told that it would be at least a 45 minute wait. The nearby Supercuts on Central? Those women move. Here? The place can be dead and you're still treated like there's seven people in front of you.

During my first appointment she took the time to review a color chart with me, and it turned out perfectly. The products used were excellent, leaving my hair soft and caused no irritation at all. As soon as I hung up the phone, I received an email confirming the appointment with a click to sync it to my calendar. I received 2 more text messages reminding me of the appointment, the week before and a few days before. I felt like they knew we already. I arrive ontime and Nicole was finishing up a hair consultation. My wait was less than 5 minutes. During my wait, I took in the atmosphere. Clean, Comfortable and with neo-soul playing. It felt like there should be a speak easy in the back room. I was not prepared. I didn't know what hair style I wanted. I explained my habits and desires. Nicole brainstormed with me until we found something that felt right. It was a true hair consultation. Now that she understood my goals, I told her to do whatever she thought was best. I had no idea what color or cut I was going to come out with. But, as I requested she gave me something, professional, colorful and low - maintence. The color was much more than I have ever achieved with SoftSheen-Carson. This was professional! My split ends was gone, dry hair-is now moist, layers and precision describes my blunt cut. But most of all the up keep is easy. I will be going back. This was worth every penny.

So often, when you finally get in to see a stylist, you aren't feeling great and not looking your best. It is an enormous relief to talk to a sympathetic professional who wants to help you find your style. She had a pretty big change in style, a short, detailed cut, and it came out great. Dana was confident, reassuring, and super pleasant. Will return.

I have long, curly hair that needs a basic cut (layers and some angling in the front) that you'd think anyone coming out of supercuts could do; not so. Here they are discount-priced and efficient. A shampoo and cut costs just around $20 -- it doesn't get much better than that. My mother and I like Sabita, but she's not always there. My mom also likes Tracy, though I haven't had her myself. I gave it 4 stars only because I don't use any other services (perm, color, etc.) and therefore can't rate them on those. Also, like all hairstylists (whyyyy?) they can get a little chop-happy and take off an extra inch or two.
