Because of a scheduling glitch I had with my regular stylist, I went to a nearby Supercuts on short notice. I had no problem getting right in, it was very quiet. My stylist was friendly, professional, efficient. I did request a fade on the sides and back which I didn't get. The price of their most basic men's haircut, which I guess would be the Supercut I, is borderline competitive, a bit more competitive if you are a regular and take advantage of the discounts. But the cost for everything beyond that adds up very quickly. For me the, men's package I get with my regular stylist is more complete, more detailed, and a better value. This is an okay place to come in a pinch, on short notice, and now that I'm at least in their database, I can pursue discounts if I come back. read more

The stylists are friendly enough, and do a good job. Unfortunately, this is probably the worst managed establishment I've ever been to. Roadside farm stands have better staffing. The wait is always at least 40+ minutes, even if you have an appointment and show up on time. It's normally one stylist working the store, and she's always behind. I walked in, there was no one else present, and I was told that it would be at least a 45 minute wait. The nearby Supercuts on Central? Those women move. Here? The place can be dead and you're still treated like there's seven people in front of you. read more

My MIL lives in an assisted living facility nearby, and she needed a couple inches off her fine, slightly shaggy hair. She's resistant to change and rather anxious due to dementia, so anywhere we went could be a challenge. But Brendalize did a good job, making light chit-chat, keeping things stress free. It wasn't busy, so it was a little surprising that we had to wait a few minutes, but it's wasn't too long. The waiting area was clean and pleasant, the benches almost comfortable (very shallow). After the shampoo, MIL said she only wanted the tiniest bit trimmed because she's "growing it out." But her hair was too just long for her to manage, and she gets all upset when she tries to style it. I'd explained this to the stylist on the phone when I made the appointment, so after agreeing with my MIL, she quietly checked with me about how much to cut, and I gave her a nod. It was exactly how it needed to be handled. MIL's hair looked cute after the cut, and MIL liked it (she'd forgotten she was anxious about it). All good. read more

Courtney is the best person to get a good hair cut(especially for Indian hair style). I have always had the perfect hair cut from her with in minutes. The best place if you live near by and the price is par with other hair cut places near by. I would recommend using supercuts app on phone to book Courtney well in advance for short wait times. This place never has enough people. One person working when we made appointments. One went on break before we arrived. When he showed up it turned out he never punched out for his real break so the girl working told him to go on break now. Really? Two breaks? And the woman cutting was interrupted 3 times with the phone and someone wanting a refund which she didn't know how to do. One kid was finally seen 30 min after our appointment. read more

I took my 11 year old daughter to get a haircut here and they shampoo and cut her hair. She wanted it dried, so I agreed (is it cold out). Little did I know the entire cost would be $48 for this ($21 shampoo/cut, $27 for hair dry). I felt taken advantage of - no pricing displayed, but I should have asked I guess! Good cuts but ALWAYS UNDERSTAFFED!!! So frustrating All of the styling are good. They all give good cuts but whenever you try to get in the wait is too long or they aren't taking any more appointments for the day since the wait list is already too long. Hmmm at least 6 stations in the place always 2 stylists working. Maybe 3 on a rare occasion. Seems as though the owner has no idea how much volume the shop could do vs what they actually do. Can't say enough good things about the stylist but poorly run. I need to seek out another option like travel to Colonie. Very frustrating. read more

I've never had a bad experience here. I think what some of these reviewers don't understand is that sometimes there is 1-2 people running the store at any given time. People call and make appointments ahead or they reserve online. If you walk in and want something that will take a big chunk of time- people are going to go ahead of you obviously if their estimated appointment time is shorter. Obviously some commenters don't understand simple business metrics. Anyway, staff is always very friendly. I've had to wait before but that's to be expected especially at a smaller hair salon. They've always done great work on me and you can't beat the price. I have really long and thick hair, and was hesitant at first to try Supercuts but I'm glad I did. I can get my hair cut for about $20. Hello can't beat that! read more

Literally the worst supercuts I've ever experienced. My boyfriend went here to get his hair cut and they astronomically screwed it up. The woman who cut it did nothing! It looked even worse after he came out! I ended up cutting his hair to fix it and it looks better now- but seriously how hard is it to cut men's hair !!Avoid this like the plague!!!! read more

I visited them on 08/24/19 I have never had so disappointed haircut. Woman who cut me, just make my hair shortly, she even didn't combed and wash my hair at the finish. I showed a picture with my previous haircut, asked her make the same one, but she has just two positions "shortly" and "longer". Completely unprofessional. Courtney is awesome. She is very professional and fun to talk to. I got the Taper Fade, she took her time with making sure everything was perfect. I would definitely go back to her for my next cut.
