During my first appointment she took the time to review a color chart with me, and it turned out perfectly. The products used were excellent, leaving my hair soft and caused no irritation at all. The cut was exactly what I was hoping for. I just had my third appointment this week and am happier than ever with Gabby and with the salon. Got my hair colored and cut, by the next morning my scalp, neck and the sides of my face along my hairline had broken out in hives. I was swollen, itching and in pain. I had to go to the ER and follow up with my doctor to get treated and it took me over a week for my symptoms to go away. One of the worst experiences of my life. I have never experienced anything like it at any salon, from an organic salon I expected a lot more. My doctors advised me that I had been frauded and whatever hair color or products were used on my hair were definitely not organic and likely very poor quality to have caused such a terrible reaction. I got my hair done at this salon last evening, and it's noon the next day and I have already gotten over a dozen compliments on it! Upon arriving, I was instantly greeted and asked to take my coat and if I'd like a beverage. The aroma in the salon was amazing - no "chemical smell" - and whatever organic candle they were burning smelled delicious! This was my first experience at an organic/green salon and I will NEVER go back to using harsh chemicals on my hair again! I went in with drab color and a cut that lacked shape. I talked with the stylist for a few minutes before she dug in and she gave me everything I wanted - bright blonde highlights with a cut that shaped my face. After washing the dye out of my hair, they dryed, styled my hair and THEN cut it - to make sure that the cut would look exactly as it should - BRILLIANT! I LOVE my new cut / color and style. I bought some natural shampoo and conditioner as well because I loved the smell of it so much. I seriously cannot say enough good things about this salon. Prices are reasonable and coupled with the fact that everything is completely natural - I will be back for sure! read more

I had my hair done today by Gina and I am thrilled with my hair, it's seriously never looked better! The salon was modern, clean and inviting. The stylists were warm and professional. in other salons I always felt awkward and uncomfortable when the hairdressers had a private conversation over me in the chair. All of the stylist were very intuned to their customers. What I loved about the salon is the questionnaire they give you first to better understand your likes and dislikes regarding your hair. Gina asked me questions about the color I wanted, showed me swatches and gently helped me choose. She also asked me about the cut I wanted and listened to me. By the end I had probably the best ever experience I have ever had at a salon. As long as I live in this area I will come here. The biggest selling point of this salon and what sets it apart from all others is that they are completely natural and organic. The staff is well informed of the products they carry (they don't push anything on you either). The hair dye doesn't burn your scalp and it doesn't smell and you end up with gorgeous, shiny color. I am incredibly impressed with Pure Elements. They were able to accommodate our party of 3 for multiple services at the last minute. We booked three back-to-back facials with Nancy. Let me tell you, she is an expert. She evaluated by skin throughly and made helpful recommendation for the future. The other members of our party wanted to include some additional services, such as a hair cut and a massage. They were so accommodating with scheduling. They set everything up, so their would be as little down-time for everyone as possible. Their massages are definitely worth it. The haircut looks good too, but one of the best parts was the salon itself. No strong order, like most salons, because the products and dye they use are all natural! They are absolutely worth it. I LOVE this salon! I'm very aware of he products I use given that I'm very environmentally aware alongside having a deep awareness of animal welfare. This salon goes above and beyond to buy products that are not tested on animals, not only that, but I'm pretty sure everything is organic!! I got my hair colored and cut about a month ago and I felt so soft and beautiful afterwards instead of feeling fried. I highly recommend this place! I've been going to Pure Elements for a little over a year now and couldn't be happier. I see Christina, she does a lovely job. She really listens and provides good feedback. She does a nice job with my husband's hair as well. Love that they use fewer chemicals than traditional salons. It's the only salon I've visited that doesn't greet you with that horrid chemical odor. I did have a good experience with color the first few times I came here. I had my hair cut here only once and it was not a good haircut -- but the color has always turned out nice and more natural-looking than my old color. The main reason I liked going here was the subdued spa-like atmosphere. So, the last time I went to get my color, there was inexplicably loud commercial radio playing the whole time. Not to complain, but I have a stressful job and found this place relaxing. However, bad rock music played too loud, prattling DJs and continual commercials is not relaxing! Now I am afraid I will be tortured again if I make another appointment. I decided to go back to my old place which is quiet and calm. I like the idea of coming here much more than going to my old salon, which is owned by a big company. But can't take the noise! read more

The greatest hair salon we have ever had the pleasure of doing business with.. The people are very courteous and professional. They attend to your every need, and with such warmness that you are overwhelmed with their personal care. My spouse arrived to Pure Element with a three tone grey on her head, looked awful.. When they completed her hair coloring I was lost for word's. Our family members and friends were also taken back by the way that they restore the soft and fullness of her hair. They used natural products and no harsh chemical based products that smell and are bad for your scalp and skin. The second best thing about Pure Element is right next door, where they provide additional services like complete facial's and full body massages. I took advantage of these services while I waited for my spouse to finish her hair coloring and manicure. We drove approximately 51 miles to Pure Element, and we will soon be going back, it's been eight weeks since she had her hair done, and I must confess, it was the best money I ever spent in any shop. They also sell products that are reasonably price, for maintaining your hair and skin. So if you want the experience of your life, you need to take you love one or just tell a friend too go there; and I guarantee you it will be an experience that you will thank me for when you post your testimony read more
