This past weekend, I went to AT Deluxe with my friend for a UV gel manicure and a pedicure. Immediately, they offered to complete both services at once, which was so nice. The pedicures were standard, and very nice results, but expensive. However, both of our manicures are not nice. Both applications are incredibly thick, and chipping after one day. I am going to a new nail salon tomorrow to get these removed because of how thick they are. I really enjoyed my first experiences, but I will not be returning. I recently moved to the area and went to Nail 7 to get gel powder (ANC). When I arrived, I had get…read morepowder on my nails from 2 weeks prior, when I had my nails done at my former salon in a different city. The nail tech here started using the electric nail filer (nail drill) on my nails to get the polish off, but I explained that my nails are super sensitive to the heat that comes off those machines, so I prefer to have my nails wrapped in tin foil and nail polish remover to get the polish off. She said that the electric filer, was the only way to get the polish off, that there was no other way to do it, to which I explained, "I undersand it's your preference to use the nail drill because it's faster, but it's not the only way. I've had my nails done with gel powder for nearly 5 years and you can wrap my nails in polish remover." She argued with me again and said there was no other way to do it. I decided to let her use the drill since I was already there and needed my nails done for an upcoming event and within minutes, was pulling my hand away in reaction to the heat--I explained again that I wished my nails weren't so sensitive to the heat, but that they are. She then spoke with her coworkers in a different language, and she insisted again that there was no other way, and I repeated myself that there was another option and didn't understand why they wouldn't just wrap my nails in polish remover. Stubborn and argumentative, I ended up leaving with a half done set of nails. Seems this salon doesn't understand the concept of supporting the customer's needs. I won't be back.

I showed Jenny a photo from the Internet and she made my nails look exactly like the picture. She's talented and takes pride in her work. Jenny worked with purpose and did a great job in a relatively short amount of time. With a 20% tip, the total cost for my regular pedicure and full set of acrylics came to $160, which is a value for the level of quality and professionalism. I highly recommend Jenny's and will absolutely be a repeat customer! Tip: Go to the bank beforehand and come prepared with $200 cash so you have enough cash if you end up choosing to upgrade services.

I…read moreasked for almond and this is what I got, they were bumpy, way too short, uneven and somehow round almost. She didn't even soak my old nails off that I came in with she ripped them off using another nail. My cuticles and nails weren't touched (no filing, trim) she literally just went straight in with the fake nails after taking off my old ones. Also, not photographed but there was powder mixed with other nail stuff left under my nails and skin after she finished. She was extremely stern and somehow ended up being the one upset when I asked her to take them off and for a refund. 0/10 overall, save yourself the time and money do not go here!!
