Terrible experience, went to get my nails done with two of my bridesmaids for my wedding and when making the appointment asked if they could do ombré ANC with French, I was told yes. When I got there they asked us what we wanted and we all wanted the same color with Ombré ANC with French and pedicures to match the base color, I was told no they can't do ombre french with ANC. I told them when I called they said they could. Then they spoke in a different language and rudely said that one of the people working there could do it. So we would all have to wait to be seen by her. Which was inconvenient waiting one after the next. We start with pedicures and when saying my we want to basic package they offer of an anc mani with pedicure for $55 they said it's an offer they can't do anymore. Claiming it to be a grand opening offer. However its on their website under packages, on their printed menu under packages and on their service menu on the wall when you walk in the salon. Once I brought that to true attention they finally said yes okay. They also reused an item on my bridesmaid that was just used on me. After our pedicures, a guy tried talking one of my bridesmaids out of what she wanted even though we already said we all were getting the same look for my wedding. He got frustrated with her and was rude to her and continued to harass her about the look we wanted not working. The woman working towards on my nails (Ella) was extremely unprofessional, tried to do the look I originally wanted and it looked terrible because she had no idea what she was doing. And I was forced to get a regular French ANC look, which I did not want. I again I told her this was for my wedding my nails will be seen in close up photos. She applied tips to my nails, she did not use the same shape of tip extension on each nail so I have some oval and some square. Some were crooked, longer than others, and I had a black speck on one nail on the white tip on my left hand, I asked her to fix these mistakes and she got annoyed with me, reluctantly "fixed" them but didn't not like she should have. She ended up taking my hand a physically pushing my hand away, had another girl take me to wash my hands and then took another client when my nails were not finished. I ended up leaving with crooked nails, misshapen nails, and some longer than others because she refused to fix them properly. I have chunky bases and when they grow out in a few days I'm sure they'll be catching my hair and we all know how much that hurts. To top it all off they tried charging us each $5-$10 more than what it should have been and we called them out on it and then they said oh yeah sorry and fixed it. They are rude, unprofessional and tried to pull shit on us. If we were not the type of people to speak up they could have tooken complete advantage of us. We did not tip we all paid and walked out to the parking lot where we were talking about where to go for dinner because we all drove separately and they were standing in the door way and windows looking at us which was really uncomfortable. read more

My first time here for a pedicure. The best!!! Henry was my guy today....but I got to see all the others in action and the whole group are very fun and attentive. My regular pedicure came with a 10 minute foot/leg rub, a paraffin wax on my heels, an expert polish job, and a shoulder and back rub finale. $30!! Absolutely thrilled read more

I strongly recommend that customers NOT go here for ANC manicures or frankly, any manicure or pedicure, because if there is a problem--and with the ANC in particular, there may be--you are unlikely to get a positive resolution of your problem. I had a very negative experience at this salon due to the poor skill of the owner, Lily (I think this is her name), in doing my ANC manicure, and her subsequent insistence on my paying for the ANC to be repaired/redone when it was just a week old. This happened even though: 1) I came in the day before to explain my dissatisfaction and request a next-day appointment for the ANC to be fixed; 2) I explained again to Steven, who did the second ANC, what my problem had been with the first ANC and he said not to worry, he understood; and 3) I stated clearly to Steven that I did not expect to pay for the repair. Again he said he understood. Lily's workstation is next to Stevens and all of this was said within earshot. However, it appears that no one in the shop understands English well enough to understand what I was saying so Lily maintained that I had not explained the problem to her, even though she KNEW I was coming in for a problem, I had briefly explained it when I made the appointment and she did not ask me to explain it to her again when I came in for the repair. Instead, she assigned Steven to me and I provided a full explanation to him. The problem with the first ANC job was that Lily did it flat on top of my nail, without tapering it in to the cuticle area. As a result, even a few days growth looked raw at the edge of the cuticle and it began to/ was very vulnerable to lifting. It would not have lasted two weeks. I typically do ANC every three weeks, have been doing it for many years and have not had this problem before. The problem was that Lily did not taper the thickness of the ANC near the cuticle and did not prepare the cuticle area so that the ANC looked natural on that edge. When Steven finished the re-do, he gave me a bill for the full amount. I explained that I had said at the beginning that I did not expect to pay and had thought that was understood when Lily told me to make an appointment to have it fixed. Lily said she never saw the problem and that she had been too busy to listen yesterday when I explained it. She insisted on my paying. Absolutely LOVE Ellis Nails 10/10 recommend :) I have been there twice now and have had Henry do ANC on my nails and I am so impressed and have never loved my nails as much as I do :) they go out of the way to make you feel comfortable, unlike any other nail place I've been to! You also get a wax hand dip, and shoulder & hand massage. If you haven't heard of ANC I highly recommend checking it out!!!! My manicure stays on for a month (only need redo because nail growth) and there isn't any chips when I go back after a month to get them redone!!! LOVE ELLIS NAILS!!! read more

The place was ok. The lady tried to talk me into gel nail color and take off my nails. I kept telling her just a fill. There was a man doing nails. And I thought the lady was going to take me right away but she said I had to wait 15 minutes for him. She handed me a magazine and a cold bottle of water. I waited about 20 minutes and she started filing my nails and then he came and started on my nails. He was so fast and he cut my cuticle on one of my fingers. Never put base gel coat on.
