However the water was like warm at best and no one glanced in my direction long enough to ask for them to add some hot water. Once the nail tech came over, she was very friendly. I paid extra for callous removal and a spa pedicure. The technician barely scrubbed for removal and patted me for a massage. It's been a month since I've gotten a pedicure, so it hasn't been too long. I was really hoping for a good service since I'm 8 mos. pregnant, but I came away with a crooked French pedicure and calloused feet with wax dried on the skin. Definitely not worth the $50. I have frequented this salon many times, but my last visit was terrible. I came in for a manicure Tina was my nail technician. She was very disinterested and rushed did a terrible job on my cuticles and did not even have me wash my hands before applying nail polish. She never asked for payment before applying nail polish. She led me to the drying station and she was off to do a pedicure. When I went up front to pay I shoes the gentleman at the cashier my cuticles and the streaks in my polish he told me it was the polish I chose ( which was one he had on display) and the cuticles were my nails. I've been going to this nail salon for 5+ years now for pedicures and gel polish. I usually do my own manicures at home since I work in the beauty industry and prefer to do my own manicure before getting gel polish. I've been getting charged $15 for gel polish every time, and it's been awesome. I leave a $5 tip, making it a total of $20 for the polish service. I think it's a very fair price. Recently, I went with a friend and we both got pedicures. I noticed that they obviously overcharged us, I was definitely confused but my friend didn't mind and swiped her card. Since then, I've been back twice and walked out both times without service. Both during weekdays when there was very little traffic, and some staff were just sitting. The first time, I asked for my normal just gel polish on bare nails and was quoted $45. I asked why when I've always been charged $15 and a full gel manicure is $30?... The workers response was "Because it's gel" and just proceeded to smile and giggle. Today, thought I'd try again, same thing I went in with bare nails and was told gel polish would be $25. Im still very confused by the changing prices and feel like they are now adjusting based on what they think you can afford. Ive enjoyed getting service here but I wont be returning. I will NEVER go back here again. First, my mistake was walking in and thinking I was going to get a decent fresh anc set. Second, the woman took almost two hours for nails with dents. Third, she had the audacity to try to convince me that the silver nail didn't have green. I had to tell her "I am not paying for this" to make her redo the entire nail bc the green powder was not coming off. My daughter had her nails done at this salon last night. It was her first visit at this particular place. The woman who did her nails made several of her fingers bleed, while most of her fingers had some irritation around the cuticle. If you've ever had nail activator enter an open wound, you can imagine the stinging pain she endured for the remainder of the visit. At no time did she stop and have Juliana clean her hands, or clean her tools, despite the numerous nicks. These photos were taken after she arrived home and washed her hands. She complained that her hands hurt. This morning I took her back to that salon. I wanted whoever was in charge to know that this was our experience. Give them the opportunity to ask who did it. Maybe she shouldn't be doing nails. We had a difference of opinion. The man that spoke to me regarding my concerns stands by the quality of this work, and I love that for him. After all, the Captain usually sinks with the ship, right? First, he suggested that the cuticle trim Ms. Y gave her might have just been a little too short. When I clarified that it was the electric drill that caused the damage, he said "totally normal." He followed up with "I've been doing nails for 12 years and I always cut my fingers." I called for an appointment for a Mani-Pedi with a friend coming to join for her Pedi a bit later. When I tried to confirm the appointment, the individual (a man) on the phone was rude to me. When I got to the salon, I was pointed to a seat for a Pedi, I advised that I called and asked for the manicure first because my friend would be meeting me for the Pedi. The man at the counter said "Fine, if you want to waste my time and yours". I said that's why I called to make an appointment. While the business seems very clean and the quality of work has been good (I've been there before), I will not go back to this business. The man who answered the phone was rude and I believe it was the same man who was again rude at the salon. The owner of the salon (hopefully not the man who was rude) should really consider who is allowed to interact with customers. No one should be spoken to or treated the way that I was. read more

This was one of the best nail places I've been to! I was seated the moment I got there even though they were really busy. My nail tech helped me select colors that looked like the ones in the photo that I had and they turned out so pretty. She gave me the perfect length and didn't hurt me at all why she did my nails. I could tell my nail tech was unhappy about my previous ANC set (while soaking my nails for the fourth round, he said "You got these somewhere else, right...?"), but I appreciated that he didn't harp on it like I've heard staff elsewhere do. I went in for a pedicure and manicure after a year long absence due to covid. It was the most painful experience I have had in a salon. The pedicure was quick, rushed, and not relaxing. I had one of my nails clipped so short it was painful. The manicure was even worse. The bowl of water was ice cold and she barely let my hands soak before doing my cuticles. OH MY, it was awful! I was dreading her doing the other hand. She was so aggressive that she cut me and I bled. I came home and poured peroxide on my toes and fingernails I don't go often and thought I'd treat myself but I think the woman was just in a hurry to get it done and over with so the lack of warm water and soaking was an important part that was hurried through. HORRENDOUS! I just tried to get ANC done, and I sat for 35 minutes "soaking," when I was told there would be no wait. I was then told that it was taking a long time because "I moved too much," so I was told I needed to soak my nails again. At that point, I had been there for 40 minutes, so I asked for a quick cut and file so that I could go back to work. A worker cut my nails quickly and told me to wash my hands. I sat back in the chair because my hands were covered in a flaky, hard residue from soaking. She told me I was finished, and I had to ask twice to have them remove the residue from my hands. After all of that, I had to pay $10, and returned to work with that residue still all over my hands. I still have to go to another place to have my nails redone. Worst experience ever!!!! Had a pedicure and the technician asked if I wanted my nails cut. I said yes. I wanted them trimmed not HACKED. I wish I could upload a photo. Right to the quick, red and almost bleeding!! When I complained, the manager/owner questioned the technician who did my nails who said I asked for them to be cut short. LIE! I never said that. When I tried to show him, an up close, photo when leaving he barely looked at the photo and stated that the technician had been doing this for 10 years. Yes, I'm sure she has been doing this a long time and yes maybe she does usually do a good job, but she messed up this time! He couldn't even admit that she messed up or try to make good on a mistake made. If he admitted, yes this does not look right, I would have been fine. His response to all of this was, if you do not want to pay... we will take the nail polish off. What does taking off nail polish have to do with a bad manicure!??! Just awful! I've been coming here with my daughter for months, the last visit was mid May the young lady messed my toenails up but I still paid $90 for all services plus tip for both technicians. I went back today and Grace asked me if I'm "Ok with the price this time" as if the prices had been an issue any of the prior visits. So I told her the last time you guys messed my feet up and I still paid with no issue. I tried showing her the botched job and she looked away. So I spoke with her supervisor who is the man that sits at the first booth and all he said was "ok". I'm disgusted. I will take my black dollar else where since it's not valuable here. Today I brought My 13 year old and 6 year old daughters to have their nails done, as I also decided to get mine done. It's a really nice place. The two gentle men who did my kids nails did a great job. My 6 year old just got her nails painted, they didn't offer any designs. My 13 year old got a full set it was really neat. However, the lady who did my nails didn't do such a good job plus she took forever because she greeted everyone and was a bit rude to patrons who stated they wanted gel nails. She didn't do shape I wanted and truthfully my middle nail is already lifting and I only had set for seven hours. I won't be returning and they may want to work on their customer service. read more

I've worn acrylic on my real nails for 15 years. The guy with the ponytail did such a bad job I started fixing them in the parking lot. The happy feet was great, I would only go back for that but I doubt I would ever go back there. He didn't even use the fine sanding piece to clean the edges so it's gonna look terrible as they grow out. Terrible! One of my nail had lifted quite a bit on the side. I asked the tech to file off the loose acrylic and he scoffed at me. I can now see it under the new acrylic and it will become a bubble as the nail grows. I just had my acrylic changed and now I have a bubble because this tech didn't want to do his job. On top of that they charged me $10 extra because of my nail length to just slap acrylic on my nails and call it done. The more I think about it the angrier I become. I will end up having to pay someone else to fix this so I don't end up with fungus under this nail. read more

I had a pedicure and a gel manicure. During the manicure, cuticle was left on giving a less professional look. Pedicure wise, they didn't do a lot to combat any calluses. I looked at their listing and they have more expensive options that focus more on that, but I've been to other places where the standard pedicure does significantly more than what they did. Overall, it was fine. But the thing that really bothered me was when I was leaving, there was a sign that said no tip on credit card. Fine, I usually expect that at nail salons, but the receipt printed out and had a tip option so I asked about it. The gel mani was more than I had expected so I didn't have as much cash as i usually like to tip. Another person working there overheard me ask if I could leave a tip on the card and she was very rude about it. Asked "don't you have any cash on you" and I said, yes, but only a little and her response was "tip with cash with what you have and you add more on the card." Very rude, very unprofessional. I understand the preference to a cash tip, but that isn't an appropriate way to go about it. I did was she suggested however, and left cash and added a couple dollars to the card, but I will not be returning nor would I ever recommend this place to friends. The most wonderful nail place!!! They fixed a totally lousy full set I got the week before at the nearby Walmart Regal. Kim was THE gentlest tech I have ever gone to (and I have been to many over the years). She was very sweet and kind. I have arthritis and she never even gave me one twinge of pain. She hand painted the prettiest flowers complete with silver sparkles. I am so very very pleased!! I will never go anywhere but there from now on!!! Kim is fabulous!!! I have been a patron of Perfect Nails for 15 years. The staff tries to be as efficient and accommodating to every customer that walks through their door. I have had a very good relationship with the owner who makes every effort to please each and every customer. The location is more than convenient, the facility creates a relaxing atmosphere, the staff is very friendly and there's plenty of parking available. As a response to the review of 1/27/15 I was the other customer in there that evening. This a view from the other side of the salon. To service this new customer who arrived with two teenage daughters, the owner called two or three employees back to work during the storm. I don't know of any other nail salon that would do that; oh that's right, they were they only nail salon open out of the six nail salons in less than a mile radius because of the weather. The three new customers were not satisfied with the service they were getting. There was a miscommunication as to what the price of the service was going to be. I understand how a miscommunication could occur as English is a second language of the owners and staff of Perfect Nails. The owner exercised extreme professionalism in trying to explain there was a misunderstanding over the $5 and she was trying to accommodate the three customers in the most efficient manner. The situation went from bad to worse when the woman allowed her daughter to become verbally abusive and disrespectful towards the owner. I know my evening was ruined by these three customers.
