    Gel Manicure.

Jayden did my nails today, I got another a gel manicure and he did an amazing job! I'm picky and don't like anything but a nail file and buffing to clean up my nails and Jayden did a fabulous job. I'm always happy when I get my nails done here.

This is a pic , taken less than half an Hour after my $28 pedi!!!

For years I've had the hardest time finding a local quality nail salon. I find one I love but quickly it goes downhill. Change in ownership, cutting cost resulting in loss of quality etc. I just don't understand why these businesses cannot be consistent with the service they're providing. Tip Top is no different. I started using this salon about two years ago. The salon was incredibly clean, staff friendly. Detailed work with quality mani/pedis. December 2019 was when I first started noticing the decline. Took my mom, mother in law, daughter, and myself for a girls day shortly after Christmas. My nails were cut down too short. I told the guy as he was applying the tips the length I wanted. First trim I said it was to short, he said "no no" , well I was left with stubs. A sliver of the tip he glued on that I was expected to pay for. My mother in law was nicked and cut up all along her cuticles. She told the guy that they were hurting her and they said that she was fine. My mom and daughter had no problems, but 2 weeks later when my Mom went back for a fill she was left nicked and cut up just like my MIL was the week prior! We all stopped going. COVID-19 began and nail salons are not a thing of our life. Then once they opened up again, I went in for a much needed pedicure. Let's face it I can trim, clean, and paint my own toenails. Although my heels are notorious for being calloused and cracked I can take care of that at home too, just buy soaking my feet in some Epson salt, using some callus softener oil, and using a pedicure razor and scrubber purchased from the local drugstore for a couple bucks. I choose however to have it professionally done because, well who doesn't love a good foot massage and 30 min of pampering?! Well the pedicure that I received when the shop first opened after covid was mediocre. I paid for the upgrade for the callus softener which they left on for under five minutes (not long enough to do anything) and my heels were still cracked and rough. Since every pedicure I've ever received there has been phenomenal I figured they were just out of practice. So I went back today to give them another go. Not only is the regular $25 pedicure no longer listed on their menu board but it is available at an increased price of $28 which they don't tell you until you pay. With the standard basic (now $28) pedicure, literally all they did was soak my feet for 10 minutes, remove the old polish, trim and file my nails, apply new polish, and a two minute per foot, lotion rub. There was absolutely no scrubbing or sanding of my foot, heel, or toes, and they paid zero mind to the calloused areas. In 20 min I was being escorted to the drying station . I couldn't believe it!!! I'm not one to be a "Karen" and complain causing a scene but I am definitely one to leave a detailed review when problems become consistent. To make matters worse the staff smokes out the back and they leave the door open so the entire salon smells like cigarette smoke. They don't wash their hands after smoking but do apply new gloves. This will be my very last time going to Tip top. I now, once again have to find a new nail salon. One that I don't have to travel 30 min or more for and one that isn't going to cost $1 or more a minute would Be nice. But honestly I'm happy to pay a little more for the Job to be done correct!!! Attached is a pic post today's pedicure. Not acceptable!

Been looking for a new nail place around CP. Tip Top is it! Went for a pedicure and an ANC manicure. I have nothing but good things to say! Jack really took his time & I definitely will be going back!

Ugh this place made me bleed, fucked up my nails, and my pinky nail has a hair in it.

Ruined my nails. Filed old gel nail polish off instead of soaking it. Next day is was chipping and nails hurt. I paid $36 for that.

ANC is now $40 and they just use two coats. Also they require masks. I'm not going back and I've been going there for years now.

Today, I showed Sean a nail design that I wanted and he agreed to do it. However, when he finished, the design looked nothing like the photo I had provided. Rather than making a scene, I politely asked him privately, away from other customers, if he could either fix the design or change it to a simple solid color. I was surprised when he told me I would have to pay for both the original design and the solid color change. When I asked if he could simply correct the design, he refused. He then stated that the design was expensive, said he would remove it, told me I would only need to pay for my fill and pedicure, and rudely said "THIS IS YOUR LAST TIME IN HERE". Throughout the conversation, I remained respectful and even expressed how much I valued his work and appreciated being a customer for many years. I wasn't asking for anything for free, I simply wanted the design corrected because it did not resemble what I had requested. As a long-time customer, I was hurt and disappointed by the way the situation was handled. Customer service is just as important as the service itself, and unfortunately, today's experience left me feeling dismissed and unwelcome.

The owner Emily is truly a great human but also incredibly skilled. They offer a variety of services, in a new building, and with reasonable prices.
