It was very gentle too. The manicure was very nicely done as well. The salon is very roomy and they play spa music which is quite a nice change. No loud TVs or rock/rap music blaring. Today, I showed Sean a nail design that I wanted and he agreed to do it. However, when he finished, the design looked nothing like the photo I had provided. Rather than making a scene, I politely asked him privately, away from other customers, if he could either fix the design or change it to a simple solid color. I was surprised when he told me I would have to pay for both the original design and the solid color change. When I asked if he could simply correct the design, he refused. He then stated that the design was expensive, said he would remove it, told me I would only need to pay for my fill and pedicure, and rudely said "THIS IS YOUR LAST TIME IN HERE". Throughout the conversation, I remained respectful and even expressed how much I valued his work and appreciated being a customer for many years. I wasn't asking for anything for free, I simply wanted the design corrected because it did not resemble what I had requested. As a long-time customer, I was hurt and disappointed by the way the situation was handled. Customer service is just as important as the service itself, and unfortunately, today's experience left me feeling dismissed and unwelcome.

I guess I should have asked first but the sign said $45 or so. I then heard the guy who did my nails considers himself an artist and charges up for $200 for certain applications. Sorry, not an artist. I regret going and only went because I didn't have time to go to my normal nail salon. I won't be going back there again. I will stick with House of Polish Nails and never go anywhere else. Tan as house of polish nails is the best.
