I got gel polish and they put the polish on so thick that it didn't dry properly and the polish peeled off the next day. I had thought I scheduled my pedicure for Thursday but appareny it was for Friday . Soooooo I showed up on the wrong day. I was fine leaving and apologized and was prepared to go elsewhere. However , they said no worries , we can fit you in. Soooo..... ok . sure . Well the woman who did my pedicure was obviously pissed that she had to squeeze me in. My nails looked like a 5 year old did the design, literally a flower on a french manicure that looked like 5 dots and a center dot daisy. I was charged $5 per nail for this childish design. I was so embarrassed by it. I had a pedicure and manicure with my friend. We were both charged $100 for the manicure and pedicure. We were both very dissatisfied, and felt taken advantage of. I booked with Glitz due to the google ratings, and I can say it was an okay experience.. i was late to my appointment so I called to give notice and the phones were busy for probably twenty minutes. So when i finally got ahold of someone it was past my apt time already but i did give notice. When i arrived there was a comment about being late and i stated i did call and the lady who took the call said she never told the lady who was talking to me that i was going to be late.. so that was annoying. The man who did my nails was super nice, did a great job and was quite which i honestly like sometimes it's hard with the masks and the glass to keep a conversation so i just was relaxing. He finished my nails but forgot about my design so i brought it up to him and the owner (or it seemed to be) came over and did the design. She did a great job, but my thing is.. when i came home and did dishes, my nails chipped right away and the top coat of the nails that had the design on them chipped off.. just from washing dishes.. so i felt like i had $50 down the drain. This place is super clean and welcoming. However, the price for a pedicure was friendly to the pocket but not what I had expected. The young lady was texting with a friend pretty much the entire time she was working on me. She was fast and not really worried about me as much as her friend that she was texting with. Very unprofessional and made me feel as if we are just another $$$ for them. One more thing, it was close to lunch and they were yelling throughout the shop what they wanted. Hmmmm. This used to be the best nail place in the area by far IMHO but since it was sold that is no longer the case. This last time I think I had someone that did not do nails do my pedicure.I brought over two nail polish one dark and one glitter to put over it and she asked me what am I supposed to do with this? Then she proceeded to put on one coat of the regular and one of the glitter. You could see through it and no top coat. She then put me under the dryer and never came back. I went to get ANC with tips. I had never been to Glitz before and I was just trying it out because it was the only salon open at the time I could go. I will say that the workers are super nice and the place and atmosphere is very clean and relaxing. However, my nails fell off within 2 weeks. I noticed they didn't use a ton of glue when putting the tips on and even right when I left my nails didn't feel strong. I'm not sure if I'll go back, but it was worth a try. read more

Called and made an appointment on the fly. The place is nice and the location is great. Got a pedicure and ANC. The pedicure was AMAZING. I can not remember her name but I'd go back to her again in a heart beat for a pedicure. A guy (the only guy that works there I think) did my nails. He was nice and him and the girl were both very funny. My nails were okay, not shaped much at all. I like that he only did two coats of ANC it made my nails look more natural unfortunately my nails didn't last. I was back at my regular salon within two weeks to get my nails done. 3 were chipped and 2 were broken. I'd consider this salon again IF I had to but I wouldn't go regularly. read more

Don't let the name or the decor fool you. I didn't so much have a problem with my ANC manicure, but the people that work there are trashy. The guy who did my ANC removal had a filthy mouth. Used the F word at least three times in my presence while doing my nails. He did not seem to care at all what my experience was as far as atmosphere. The other two girls there gossiped the whole time and I could not believe the language and overall vibe I got from them. I would not recommend at all. My friend and I had a scheduled appointment and still had to switch back and fourth between one girl every five minutes. On top of that my nails were shaped weird and the gel polish I had paid for, had peeled off completely by the next day. I was so disappointed. Didn't receive any hand treatment either. Two good things I'd say is the price for a gel mani was good but then again it peeled off completely not even 24 hours later. Someone recommended this nail salon to me so I figured I would try it out because I work a later schedule so a lot of nail salons open when I'm supposed to be at work and close before I get off. So on this Facebook page it says that the nail salon opens at 9 AM this is definitely not true the salon is open but there's no one there to do your nails! I walk in to get a simple fill on my acrylic nails and the one person in the salon tells me that none of the workers arrive until 10 AM. So I was kind of upset at that point because you say you open at 9 o'clock but I have to wait an hour after you open to get services. So I go sit in my car for an hour come back and go to pick out a nail color the same one person is in and she asked do you mind waiting because I have two people ahead of you now I didn't know you were going to come back. I think this is the most unprofessional thing that I have ever experienced in my life! Complete false advertising! I would not recommend this nail salon to my enemies! Sadly, my last experience will be my last visit. This comes wigI regret as I was so excited about a nice, new, clean nail salon in CP. I went in for an ANC manicure this weekend without requesting anyone because I've always had decent experiences. With that being said, it's usually a little unprofessional as the entire staff jokes with one another about silly things and only occasionally includes the customer. This time my nail technician was in the midst of a breakup, from what everyone was saying. There were a lot of curse words used like "f---" and such. He also told me that he was "really drunk last night". Then the ex- girlfriend walks in. She sits next to me as they discuss who will get the car. Good to know his credit score is "shit". By the end, my nails looked horrible as his hands were shaking. A very lovely girl fixed them for me, however, the stressful experience was only able to be fixed had they stopped it while it was happening (I.e. not letting the ex girlfriend sit there and dispute their issues in front of customers). He and the girlfriend then took it outside to yell and fight. All the while the owner(s) were inside, working, not stopping any of this. In fact they found it funny! Never ever again. I'm sad to say I can't imagine they will be in business for long. read more

I too had a horrible experience here. They do not care at all about their customers. Change times on you at the last minute. Have horrible hours and days available to book. They could care less about existing clients and just want the walk ins. Weekends are the only times I can come without having to leave work early. Then they cancel my appt the day before my trip. I also paid $15 extra for a manicure with my gel nails and they didn't soak my fingers, clipped my cuticles DRY, and offered no hand lotion or massage at the end. I have been here 4 times. Twice with another cowork r. I work in the same plaza as the salon so it SHOULD be very convenient for me. They are 1 for 4 with me, meaning 3 experiences were really bad. The first time I had Michelle who was great. A pedi and gel mani. The second and third time I had another regular employee. No massage with either the manicure or pedicure. The pedicure was the worst I have ever had and it was obvious she did not like doing them. Lots of inappropriate chatter between the techs. Not to mention the puppy who is always there. A health hazard and major distraction. The 4th time I went in was this week and it will definitely be my last visit. I doubt the tech even had a license. He was a nice kid but my gel manicure took 90 minutes and I was there on my lunch hour. They have a new brand that runs and the tech had to have another tech show him how to apply it. He still couldn't get it right and/or it is a bad brand. They talked about it running "again". 3 shades later I switched to OPI. Even that was applied poorly. Too thick and uneven. No lotion or massage at the end. My coworker got ANC and it too was applied poorly. I don't know how they are still in business. read more
