This was our 4th trip to Mio's and second to this specific location. As I've previously stated they specialize in Chicago style deep dish pizza and they they do it really well. This time was no exception as we got the Meaty Stuffed Deep Dish Pizza which came stuffed with sausage, pepperoni, ham, and bacon along with tons of cheese. They put the red sauce on the top just like an authentic Chicago style pizza. The meat ingredients were plentiful and super delicious as was their cheese and sauce. The crust is really good too and makes for a proper base for all of that deliciousness. I can't recommend this pizza highly enough. It's the best Chicago style pizza that I've had in the Cincinnati Tristate area (if anybody knows one as good or better please let me know. I wanna try ) Also during this visit we tried a couple of appetizers the first being the Spicy Cheese Cubes. They were really tasty as well and a lot more spicy than I thought they'd be. It didn't say on the menu but it tasted like some habanero mixed in there. Whatever it was if you got a decent spice tolerance I highly recommend this. Lastly we got their Cheesy Garlic Bread which was pretty good. A nice crisp bread and a good amount of garlic and cheese on it. Another delicious effort by Mio's keeping their perfect record intact for me.

The Fresh Spinach, Bacon, Onion and Tomato Pizza was excellent.

Don't know why, but I haven't been to Mio's in years. The last time was probably when my kids were young and we had an end of season soccer party. That's a shame because I realized what I'd been missing during a recent impromptu lunch visit. The Mio's on Clough has a nice little brewery attached to it, the Happy 2 Brewing Co., an addition since our soccer days, as well as a very friendly staff, a nice patio for eating out and a strong selection of pizza, calzones, salads, sandwiches, pasta and more. We had the fresh spinach, bacon, onion and tomato pizza, which comes on a very tasty and nicely crisp sesame seed crust. There's a wide variety of beers and wines available, too. We will be back!

Have them add sesame seeds to the crust, somehow it really improves the crust.

I'll gladly go out of my way to go to this Mio's instead of the Mt. Washington one! (See my review and pictures there!!!). Consistently good pies, and they are done right. Pro Tip: get the sesame seed crust. It seems weird, but somehow it really works! Mio's is also where I fell in love with banana peppers on pizza(as a kid). Gotta do it! Oh, and they actually brew their own beer at this location(!), as well as having a pretty good draft selection.

Sometimes I forget how much I enjoy Mio's pizza. Both their deep dish and regular style pizza really hit the spot. This last visit here was on a Saturday afternoon. Not too crowded outside of a hugely obnoxious group of people who we were seated near. They were over the top ridiculous for the time of day it was..they were who you would expect to have to deal with at a crowded bar at 1am on a Saturday night, not in a family restaurant on a Saturday afternoon, with a bunch of kids with them to boot. Alas, we were not going to let this ruin our meal, it actually served as light entertainment with overhearing and watching how crazy they were acting. Anywho, we decided to go with some mozzarella sticks for an appetizer this time instead of our go to cheese bread..which is delicious here. We wanted to try something different and the mozzarella sticks were really good..crisp, hot, and gooey with cheese. They came out super fast too which was nice. We went with a regular style pizza with half four cheese blend and half pepperoni and banana peppers. It was delicious. The crust was crisp, the sauce was seasoned nicely, the cheese and the toppings were of a perfect proportion. As I was eating it I was able to take a step back and recognize that it is a very tasty top notch pizza. The service here was good. Everyone was super nice. I guess they could've recognized how loud and obnoxious that group was and made an effort not to sit us right next to them since the rest of the restaurant was pretty empty, but that's okay. We made the best of it and just rolled our eyes and laughed it off.

What a shame. I wanted to have a good experience here and the vegan hoagie option had me excited. We stopped with the kids around 4pm on a Thursday so the place was not at all crowded. I was excited about other reviews stating a robust offering of draft beers and the fact they brew their own beers. Well, the 2 beers they brew in house are sample only because they don't have the license completed or whatever is needed to actually sell you a glass of it! When I asked for the Scotch Ale they were out. Then it was they were out of all that brand. Then i was like what DO you have? All of what was left was IPAs and a nitro so I asked for a sample but it was not good. My wife did order a beer but it took about 15 to get it. On the positive, the vegan, GF hoagie was pretty good. I really like the bun. The side of tomatoes were not great. All that being said, I want to give them another shot. I'm hopeful the Scotch and Cream ales are on tap next time and maybe they get the home draft brew situation settled. The kids liked their fries and cheese pizza and drawing on the paper tablecloth. I really want to like it here. With some work to improve some basic issues it could be a good family spot. As of right now, though it's a bit of a disappointment and that same amount of money spent could buy you a better meal and exclusive elsewhere.

The best salad maker in Anderson works at Mios! Love Marisa, love the music, love the Merlot!

Great dinner experience at Mios. Only negative was the the table was not wiped down before we sat down. They have the best salad maker working there! This is the Mios in Anderson on the corner of Eight Mile and Clough.

It is a party for Norah! Happy Birthday!

Nice neighborhood pizza joint. Calzones are good. Salads are ok but nothing special. They serve beer and have outside seating.

We had better service here than most "normal" sit down restaurants. And the food...not one item we have tried was bad, the vast majority have been the best in their category. Best mozzarella sticks: it's obvious it's a higher quality mozz than whatever everyone else uses. Crispy perfection! Best GF/cauliflower pizza: lots of toppings to choose from (though somehow chicken isn't an option on DD) and again, from the mushrooms to the sauce, you can taste the difference. They make the sauces in house! According to my husband, best Chicken Parm he has had since moving here! You get a healthy portion. And...best cannoli in the area! Growing up in a predominantly Italian and Polish area, I have been lucky to have REALLY good Italian pastries...and their cannoli was reminiscent of those times. This has been the ONLY cannoli in the greater Cincy area that is worth consuming, IMO. All in all, we would dine in at Il Gusto constantly, if we lived closer. Glad they're on DoorDash though! If you are in the Kenwood area, and want a break from the chaos and crowds, Il Gusto is close by!

Okay, I understand the hype! Bourbon House Pizza does Chicago deep dish pizza perfectly. My husband…read moreand I split one of the supreme pizzas and got Italian sausage and mushrooms in it. It was honestly so delicious, and oddly enough was even better reheated the next day! (Reheated great in a toaster oven) It also came out quicker than I expected. (With it being Chicago deep dish, I was prepared to wait!) We also got their appetizer sampler. The items were good, but the pizza balls definitely stood out! The dough was so fantastic and clearly homemade. It was perfectly buttery and flaky, yet firm structural. The sauce was also delicious. A must: pairing everythingggg with their house made ranch. My brother got a steak hoagie and was pretty disappointed when a small sandwich with a meat patty and a side of potato chips is what came out. It just didn't match the caliber of the pizza at all. We also got to Italian sub style hoagies, and those were both small and underwhelming as well. The dining room had a bit of a disheveled feel but I couldn't quite put my finger on what was off. The servers were attentive and kind. We parked at the Levee and walked over. Overall synopsis: I actually can't wait to get pizza here again!!!

The restaurant was clean and comfortable. They have outside seating, which could be nice in the right weather, though the area is just feet from the main drag. Our server was fine. I have no real recollection of them. We ordered a deep dish, looking to find a pizza as good as Zachary's in California. Bourbon House Pizza is not as good as Zachary's, but it is the best deep dish pizza we've tried in the Cincinnati area since we've been back in Cincinnati since 2021. We made our own pizza in an attempt to match our favorite - spinach and mushrooms. It was good. I enjoyed the sauce on top. Under the sauce, the cheese was very thick making the overall taste of the pizza very cheesy. We had a similarly cheese deep dish in Chicago. Our pizza at Bourbon House was better. I will say the crust is thick. I would have eaten the crust if there had only been two pieces per person. Since I was faced with potentially eating four pieces, I opted to skip the crust. One of our group asked if she could order from the kid's menu. The server had no issue with the request. Oddly enough, her meal was huge! We were all surprised it was a kid's meal. Our fourth ordered a small pizza. It looked like it had pineapple on it. I didn't ask how it was, but he ate every bite. It must have been a small and it was the perfect single serving size. Oh... we ordered a medium deep dish. It was eight pieces and was too much for two people. Because we were going to a show after dinner, we didn't box up the leftover two pieces. This size pizza would be great for four people to share. We will continue to look for great deep dish pizza, but we definitely found a good one at Bourbon House Pizza.
