    Delicious vege pizza with pepperoni.

Place was packed but service and food was great. Will definitely go back when in Cincy!

Had Mio's over 30 years ago, when they were in Hyde Park, and just moved to Anderson and saw them! They used to be one of my favorite pizza places. We ordered a large with 4 toppings and the toppings were so meager that we weren't sure they were all on there. My husband said nope! He didn't like it at all. Tried again the other night and ordered a medium Chicago style. Ha! I was given a medium pizza box and opened it up and saw this small 7.5" pizza that only took up half the box. I called and was told that that was the medium. $24 pizza that was only 7.5" wide! Then I tried to eat it and it was just gross! The sauce was super bitter and the crust really greasy. I couldn't even finish the first slice. I thought, ok, maybe I'm just tired. I put in fridge to try next day. First bite, nope! Still bitter and greasy. Will not be spending anymore money at this place. Super bummed. I guess things are better in our memories.

    Stuffed crust pizza!!!!

The ambiance is college kid oriented no problem tho because I come to eat..but the server wasn't that attentive. The drink wasn't nothing to brag about strength wise. But the pizza is pretty good. Nice hint of garlic...it was nice. The only reason I wouldn't come back is the college kids atmosphere just not me. There weren't any problems tho. But if you're looking for a good stuffed crust pizza this is your spot.

Our waiter forgot part of our order but he was super sweet. The pizza was just fine but there seemed to be a problem with flies inside the place. Not super excited to return in the future.

It had been awhile since I had been to this location so we had to come in for another lunch. They are most well known for their deep dish pizza and once again that's what we got on this occasion as well. Since I'm a big time carnivore we got the Meat Topper that come with pepperoni, sausage, ham, and bacon. Since it's a Chicago style deep dish the toppings were in the middle of the pizza with the sauce on top and crust on the bottom. With so many ingredients in there it was definitely a knife and fork pizza as it was thick as could be. It was so delicious as the plentiful toppings were super good as was their sauce and the crust more than held up its end down on the bottom. Every bite was a heavenly treasure. For an appetizer we tried their Pretzel Bites with Bier Cheese. The pretzels were really good and their version of bier/beer cheese was uniquely tasty. This location since it's in the middle of the city is quite lively and thus loud at times so definitely be aware of that although it's not outrageously so. The service was top notch and rounded out a sensational lunch.

I'm coming in hot with some strong opinions: 1) HOT TAKE: Mio's is underrated. 2) Chicago Style Pizza is WAY better than NY Style Pizza... honestly, it's not even close. 3) You can disagree with #2, but you shouldn't be allowed to vote. Okay, fine, you can vote...but you need to reevaluate your opinions on pizza. Chicago Style pizza is delicious and Mio's does it really well. To me, Mio's is pretty comparable with Giordano's. I might prefer Giordano's a little bit, but not by that much. The stuffed pies have a super generous layer of cheese and their sauce is delicious. Honestly, I've never had anything other than the stuffed pies from Mios. As delicious as they are... I'm not sure I need to order anything else. I've dined in before here too (though the picture below is from a delivery order) and the service has always been great. I'll definitely be back!

This is hard for me to write, I grew up in Cincinnati and went to Army in 1991. I served my country and loved the opportunity to meet ALL TYPES of people. Never have I met such a racist server, he was very frustrated with dealing with Black People. It was so apparent and very disheartening. Here all these people watching March Madness with Blacks shooting basketball, yet we didn't feel as we be BELONG. I have 2 stars because the food was good; but we felt very disrespected. We didn't leave tips due to the pain!! Please remember to remember "GREEN" is the important color when running a Business!!

The thin crust pizza was undercooked. How is that even possible? Toppings were minimal but yet there was a ton of cheese.

I don't really have words to describe it. They only have one size pizza and, at first, I thought it was huge. However, the flavor was so amazing I kept wanting more. Hubs and I did a half and half pizza. His half was the Alms Park and my half was bacon and pineapple. I probably could have eaten a whole pizza by myself. The blend of cheeses and their sauce - so stinking good. We also got a house salad to split. Being that this was to go - they gave us the main salad in one container with their house made croutons in a separate container and their house made vinaigrette in a separate container - it keeps everything fresh and crisp! The croutons were so delicious and fresh! On top of that, the vinaigrette was amazing. We both fell in love with it. We walked in and ordered instead of placing online or calling. The service was AMAZING! We decided to wait in our car and they walked it out to us! They were amazingly friendly and wonderful. Their pizza isn't the cheapest pizza around but it was worth the money we spent. This won't be an every week visit, but definitely a new favorite. While this location is carry-out only, it was very welcoming. They also sell bottles of wine and had signs talking about them. It was a very neat little local place. I'd like to actually try their new location where we can eat in! Do yourself a favor and try this place.

We had better service here than most "normal" sit down restaurants. And the food...not one item we have tried was bad, the vast majority have been the best in their category. Best mozzarella sticks: it's obvious it's a higher quality mozz than whatever everyone else uses. Crispy perfection! Best GF/cauliflower pizza: lots of toppings to choose from (though somehow chicken isn't an option on DD) and again, from the mushrooms to the sauce, you can taste the difference. They make the sauces in house! According to my husband, best Chicken Parm he has had since moving here! You get a healthy portion. And...best cannoli in the area! Growing up in a predominantly Italian and Polish area, I have been lucky to have REALLY good Italian pastries...and their cannoli was reminiscent of those times. This has been the ONLY cannoli in the greater Cincy area that is worth consuming, IMO. All in all, we would dine in at Il Gusto constantly, if we lived closer. Glad they're on DoorDash though! It was honestly so delicious, and oddly enough was even better reheated the next day! (Reheated great in a toaster oven) It also came out quicker than I expected. (With it being Chicago deep dish, I was prepared to wait!) We also got their appetizer sampler. The items were good, but the pizza balls definitely stood out! The dough was so fantastic and clearly homemade. It was perfectly buttery and flaky, yet firm structural. The sauce was also delicious. A must: pairing everythingggg with their house made ranch. My brother got a steak hoagie and was pretty disappointed when a small sandwich with a meat patty and a side of potato chips is what came out. It just didn't match the caliber of the pizza at all. We also got to Italian sub style hoagies, and those were both small and underwhelming as well. The dining room had a bit of a disheveled feel but I couldn't quite put my finger on what was off. We were surprised at the presentation and at the lack of flavor but assumed that the pizza would be amazing! based on what we had read and heard - but were incredibly disappointed. The pizza was flavorless and Incredibly greasy. Our impression is that this must be a great location for college students or those who have enjoyed their drinking experience and need some grease to sober them up and don't mind what they are eating.
