Stopped here while in town for. Bengals game and had a great dinner. Started with the jojos blt salad which was great especially with the blue cheese dressing also had the house salad. As for pizza got the large double pepperoni traditional thin pizza which was good pepperoni was nice and crispy overall a great meal. The pizza was great. Way better than any other I've tried. Waiter was very nice and gave us a lot of peppermints. An old man paid for our food but we didn't have the chance to thank him,but he was a regular so the waiters thanked them. I can't speak to their dinner but I appreciated their lunch menu. I was in town for work and we went by twice for lunch. The server was friendly and, more importantly, efficient. The menu had a good variety and reasonably priced. The side salad was a pleasant surprise as it was more than just lettuce. While I don't even like olives and raw onions, I appreciated that they went the extra mile for a side salad. Their croutons are yummy. I got ravioli the first time and a two toppings pizza the second time. I didn't love either to be honest, but that's more a personal preference than issues with them. Food is fresh and hot. Smelled really good when we walked in and it didn't disappoint. Very yummy cheese breadsticks, tasty calzones, dipping sauces were goid too. Very friendly staff. Eating area was clean. This is the LaRosa's location that we visit the most frequently. Most of the time we pick up our order for carryout and we occasionally get delivery. My go to order is a calzone with four cheese, bacon, sausage, and pineapple. I'm convinced that there isn't a better dipping sauce combination than pizza sauce AND garlic butter. I am also a big fan of the mozzarella sticks and the kitchen chips with Diablo sauce. Our order is always correct and everyone is always friendly and helps us right away. I was hungry, wanted something close by and quick, so I gave this place a try. They advertise baked onion soup, and that reeled me in. I had the lunch special, a good value. The baked onion soup was good, but had a slightly overcooked, almost burned taste to it. It wasn't bad, but wasn't particularly good. I paired it with a calzone, which was surprisingly good. Most calzones are too heavy; too much bread, too much "stuff", just, well... Too much. This calzone was light and delicious. The side of marinara was just right. I know its LaRosa's, tho it's local it is still a decent size chain and it's kind of weird to review a chain store. But, you have to weave out the bad locations for us people who actually enjoy going to LaRosa's. I moved to Covington recently and this is right by our house. I've ordered take out from here multiple times. Every time I go in to get it, the pizza is always done early or exactly on time. I've never had to wait, and I appreciate that. The other day we finally went and sat and dined in here. This location is in an older building, it obviously wasn't originally a LaRosa's old. For that reason, it's super unique interior compared to every other LaRosa's. They have older skylights and tin ceilings that were painted mint and I dig it. It has a couple of square wooden booths in the middle of the room and not the corners which are also unique and cool. It's super clean so that obviously a plus side. I walked into the bathrooms which are super old and haven't been updated in years, but it was extremely clean. The booths were all wiped down and the carpet was clean. Which is not a common thing found within other LaRosa's. The staff here is always super welcoming and nice and that alone makes me want to go back. All the food is always made right and tastes amazing. They've never gotten my order wrong, I've never had a complaint. If you've never been to LaRosa's before and are reading this and need actual food recommendations, You have to start with breadsticks with melted provolone. I suggest getting it with marinara and garlic butter on the side. Mixing the marinara and garlic butter together and dipping the breadstick in that is the ultimate fat kid move, but I promise you it's amazing. Traditional style crust on LaRosa's pizza is the best way to go with the pizza. I honestly will eat pretty much any LaRosa's pizza but the plain cheese is always amazing. If you get pepperoni at LaRosa's ever make sure you ask for it on top of your pizza. They cook it under the cheese sometimes, and it's soggy and gross to me if it's like that. Salads, Spaghetti, Sandwiches are all legit here too. If you're craving LaRosa's one day and want to go to a great location I would suggest this one. read more

Fantastic flavor and credible service make Larosas our go to place when our business needs to order a meal to take care of the team. For example, today at 11 o'clock we decided we wanted to get pizza and placed our order online at about 11:25 AM. It was a large order, the total was close to $180, and still they had it delivered inside our business on the ninth floor of our building by 1205. Everything was delicious, well prepared and included paper plates and napkins that we had not asked for. I will continue to be a major fan of Larosas! read more

Before flying home, I stopped at LaRosa's in Covington, Ky. for one last Cincinnati treat. LaRosa's pizza is a chain and while I don't usually do chains, this is local to the area and has been around for 50 years. The one I went to was older, which I liked, and when you walk in there is a mural scene from the original LaROSA's on Boudinot Ave. I don't think the customer service was top notch. I was ignored for a while from anyone at the counter. The waitress sat in a booth with a family I presumed she knew for quite a while before asking if I needed help. I ordered my personal size pie to go and waited quite a while for it. I did eat a slice or two in store. LaRosa's signature pizza is a thin crust variety made with a distinctive thick, sweet sauce and topped with provolone cheese. I ordered the traditional. It is HOT!, it was yummy, but I didn't think it was the best pizza I've ever had. It was simply good pizza. If I was a local, I'd get it again. As a pizza chain, I didn't expect much in that department since it is probably majority take out, so I stayed positive with the rave reviews in the back of my mind. We went basic and got a medium half cheese, half green pepper black olive for the main pizza and an antipasto salad which was fresh and good. A friend in the group is lactose intolerant and went for a small vegan plant based pizza. I was shocked to see that on the menu, but appreciated the inclusive options. My wife and I love the Buddy Deluxe and have had it a few times. It's our go to pizza shop in town.

We order delivery from here a decent amount when I'm at work, and I can say right off the bat they always deliver our food at the time they estimate. The food is always accurate and at a decent temperature. My only issue is that I just don't get Cincinnati's love of this pizza. I've tried it on numerous occasions and from numerous different locations and I've never walked away really liking it. The thin crust is probably the best option. It's pretty standard for how you would think I thin crust would taste, very crispy. They seem to use the right amount of sauce on this style too. I don't like their hand tossed, I don't like the way the crust tastes, and they always seem to put too much sauce on it consistently at every location and it just makes and mess and doesn't taste good. The chicken here..I've had really good and almost inedible experiences with it. It seems the best style to have them is with the garlic butter. The buffalo style just doesn't taste that great. I do, for the most part, enjoy their calzones. They are usually stuffed full of toppings, and they offer three toppings for a pretty decent price. I ordered garlic bread for the first time recently and I was wholly underwhelmed. It seriously looked and tasted like toasted buttered bread. It was bland and not of note at all. I think they might've forgot to put actual garlic on it. I'll continue to eat here because for whatever reason it is the go to place most people from Cincinnati for pizza and Italian food. You never know though, maybe I just haven't found the exact item on the menu that would make me understand Cincinnati-ites obsession with this place. read more

We ended up at LaRosa's after scoring two free small one-topping pizzas at a Red's game. The process of applying the coupons was a breeze, and our pizzas were ready in 10 minutes, maybe 15 tops! The pizza itself? Pretty okay. It was piping hot, and loaded with lots of mozz, but I gave up on the personal pan about halfway through-- one too many doughy, greasy bites made me question my stomach's ability to digest it. LaRosa's in Covington has more character than many of the newer locations. It is a narrow restaurant with wooden booths. The pizza here is consistently tasty and the salads are good. We usually get a half and half pizza: half vegetarian, half pepperoni. The service is friendly and the prices are affordable. Might be difficult to find parking during the daytime, but at night and on weekends there are several empty lots nearby. read more

I would never order from this place again! Waste of time and money. Placed an order on line as the begged you to do over the phone. The app filled in the wrong address. I spent 30 minutes on hold trying to get the address corrected. In the meantime they delivered the order to the wrong address. The lady on the phone concurred that their app wants to use the wrong address. So she entered it. Order shows up over 1 hr later, and it is only a salad. No pizza which the original order had. Our order was a bit complex, no tomatoes on one salad, light tomatoes on the other... then we got a few extra sauces, and a kids meal with some moderations as well, and everything came PERFECT and HOT! It was also delivered before 50 minute timeframe we were told. The driver was super awesome, and accommodating to my directions to the apartment. I love it when things are easy, fast, and correct. Let me preface this with the service was good and the portion sizes were good. We were staying in Cincy and got delivery to our hotel , excellent feature. The food was not good. Not "throw it away" bad, but definitely not worth the money. The breadsticks were literally just bread; dry and hard. The cheese ravioli were large, but lacked flavor (as did the sauce they were in). The chicken wings were greasy and soggy. The cannoli also lacked any flavor. Perhaps the pizza would've been a better choice, but everything else was a diss appointment. read more
