Excellent staff that's super nice and inviting. The inside is also really cute but the bathroom is situated back past the counter. I didn't love the pizza but it wasn't terrible either.

    Hair on my soggy bread

First there is hair on my bread stick l,and i called up there and the manager on shift said it was the bristle of the brush they use for butter. Then the manger got a attitude with me claiming that our food is soggy and cold and when i asked for her name she didn't give it out which i know she doesn't have to but while on the phone she was really rude and said she had a "Bubbly personality" which was not the case DO NOT RECOMMEND

We've visited a few times now and have enjoyed it each time. Last night we had a great meal! Spinach and artichoke dip, steak hoagie, and pizza! The live music was awesome and we enjoyed sitting at the bar. We will make this a regular spot!

It has been over a year since we've ordered food from this restaurant and I honestly see why. The food is not as good as it use to be. My fries arrived dry and burnt and the new mozzarella bites arrived way too dark. The Food was fried in old oil. And they need to update their menu to inform the customers of the change to their new mozzarella bites. We were expecting mozzarella sticks and NOT charred bites. Save your money.

In my travels I'm searching for the genuine NY style Italian pizza. I REALLY wanted to like this pizza but it just didn't live up to my expectations. First of all, the building has seen better days. It's dark and musty inside. A plant had "peed" all over the entry way where they had watered it. Second, the staff was very curt. Not sure if they knew I was an outsider, but I surely didn't feel welcome here. Now for the pizza. It was ALMOST right. Unfortunately, it was just off enough in the wrong area that I won't try it again. One thing this pizza had going for it was that it was cooked perfectly. The bottom was nice and crisp with a few almost burnt spots just as it should be. Problem one was that there was way too much cheese on it. So much in fact that it was hard to eat. I could have overlooked that though if it weren't for the fatal flaw. The bottom crust had the texture and taste of a gluten free pizza. The cornicione (or edge crust) had no air pockets. Now I'm no pizza expert but this would indicate to me that the ingredients were not in the right proportions, the dough hadn't been needed enough or it had not sat long enough. These are all reasons that gluten doesn't build up causing the issues I mentioned. So, another missed opportunity to find the NY style I so desperately crave. ‍

I got one their meat pizzas which came with pepperoni, sausage, ham, and ground beef among other things. It came on a relatively thin crust pizza that was nice and crispy and had what would call an average sauce that tasted fine. All in all a pretty good pizza especially for it's inexpensive price point. What was even better was their breadsticks which were fantastic. They do it flatbread style and is super delicious. Instead, I got something shocking... Actual great pizza!!! The wood-fired crust comes out blistered and charred just enough to whisper, "I went to Italy for a semester and didn't come back with a man bun." It's crispy outside, chewy inside ... the kind of texture that makes you forget every sad, floppy chain pizza you've ever eaten in a strip mall next to a vape store. The toppings? Legit. We're talking San Marzano tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, hot honey, and fancy meats that sound like they have their own passport. And here's the real shocker: It's not pretentious. Nobody lectures you about "mouthfeel." Nobody asks if you want your pizza "deconstructed." Nobody serves it on a wooden plank shaped like Vermont. It's just seriously good pizza ... the kind that makes you say, "Wow, maybe civilization isn't collapsing after all." And the wood-fired flavor? Smoky, slightly charred, and rich...like it was baked by a Tuscan grandmother who also owns a flamethrower. The owner just showed me their home made pasta dish for the Friday in Lent. Looks amazing!! Thank you Patrick for the tip!!
