Meat lovers pizza was excellent. Perfect charred bottom, good crust and wasn't oily.. I've found my local pizza spot.

    Eggplant Parmesan

I ordered to go. Eggplant Parm with spaghetti and 1 meatball. The portion size is extremely small; there were only 3 small pieces of eggplant in the dish. The meatball was a brick of ground beef, no seasoning and very small. The sauce is bitter. Would not recommend.

I just tried this place for the first time and overall I really liked it but felt it was a bit pricey. The pizza was good. Not my favorite, but still good. I had bacon, sausage, pepperoni, onions, and green peppers. I also got the loaded fries and I loved those. They were loaded with cheese, bacon, and jalapeños with a side of ranch. Finally, the highlight of the meal were the cannolis. They were perfect. They were super rich so I couldn't eat them often, but if I choose to indulge myself... this hits the spot.

Disappointed and underwhelming. I've been on the look out for good local NY style pizzeria. This was recommended by a friend so I thought I would give it a try. I ordered a large meat lovers, the two staff were accompanied, and they were timely in getting the food out. The menu prices were wrong in what they provided, the facility was not well kept, and there was no seating/inside dining so I had to take it to go. At first glance the pizza did not look like a signature NY style. It wasn't thin, long, or wide enough for a large NY style pizza. Unfortunately, the crust was under cooked and doughy in parts of the crust that were thicker. I had high hopes but they all fell flat with the lack of flavor, doughiness, and it genuinely not being what it is advertised. I really do hope this establishment can turn it around and come back. There is potential and again the staff was very pleasant. I wouldn't recommend this location at this time and felt that it was overpriced even with the $2 discount I received through yelp. I hate giving a 1* but can not go higher when there were so many disappointments.

Spaghetti and 1 $4 meatball. Yep, upcharge of $4 for 1 small meatball!!

Ordered spaghetti, and paid $4 to add meatballs. Came with 1 meatball the size of a golfball!

Here's the pizza I received. OMG!!!

Instead, I got something shocking... Actual great pizza!!! The wood-fired crust comes out blistered and charred just enough to whisper, "I went to Italy for a semester and didn't come back with a man bun." It's crispy outside, chewy inside ... the kind of texture that makes you forget every sad, floppy chain pizza you've ever eaten in a strip mall next to a vape store. The toppings? Legit. We're talking San Marzano tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, hot honey, and fancy meats that sound like they have their own passport. And here's the real shocker: It's not pretentious. Nobody lectures you about "mouthfeel." Nobody asks if you want your pizza "deconstructed." Nobody serves it on a wooden plank shaped like Vermont. It's just seriously good pizza ... the kind that makes you say, "Wow, maybe civilization isn't collapsing after all." And the wood-fired flavor? Smoky, slightly charred, and rich...like it was baked by a Tuscan grandmother who also owns a flamethrower. The owner just showed me their home made pasta dish for the Friday in Lent. Looks amazing!! Thank you Patrick for the tip!!

I've made my way through the entire menu (food and drinks), and there honestly isn't a single item I wouldn't recommend. Everything is consistently spot on every single time. That kind of reliability is hard to find, and it's exactly why I keep coming back. That said, a few personal favorites stand out. The goat cheese flatbread appetizer is a non-negotiable. It's the kind of dish you order "for the table" but secretly don't want to share. The cacio e pepe and pasta rustica are also incredible and always hit. As for drinks, the seasonal espresso martini is always a go-to and never disappoints. But my personal favorite is either the regular old fashioned or, when I'm feeling myself, the wagyu old fashioned... especially if Scott is behind the bar. He clearly knows what he's doing, and it shows. The service is always warm, attentive, and consistent, which makes the whole experience even better every time. Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere, and a bartender who takes his craft seriously. I'll definitely be back (again...and again).

Pasta was a vegetarian offering but not if you want some protein. Very popular space that look us weeks to get into. With so many local Italian options I believe I will try another one.

As I get older, I try to love myself a little more, so each year I treat myself to something a little extra special. This year, that was Carmelo's. Honoring his Bisnonno, Carmelo Caserta, Chef Billy Grise & his longtime friend, Chef Mitch Arens, opened this slice of Sicily in 2024. They make you feel at home with a warm intimate atmosphere, top tier service & food so good you're sure to come back time & time again. My Server, Deron, was so friendly & helpful. His professionalism & expertise shined all throughout the evening! After explaining the full menu to & carefully selecting a signature cocktail for me, Carmie's Kiss, I selected the hand pulled Mozzarella served with Grilled Focaccia & Olive Oil, the savory & spicy Garlic Soup, the cheesy crispy Potatoes served with a Calabrian Chili Mayo, and the hearty indulgent Oxtail Ragu. Each bite I took whisked me away to another world filled with enticing scents, beautiful colors & bold flavors! Then, when I thought I was finished, Deron surprised me with a delicious slice of Tiramisu served with a delightful glass of Pinot Grigio, and it was absolutely heavenly!! I had such a lovely experience & I am so excited to go back again. My favorite bites were the deliciously perfect Potatoes & Oxtail Ragu! I visited with my foodie best friend who had been before a long time ago but didn't remember much and had been hearing me rave about how much I loved their pasta too many times :) We also wanted to celebrate P&D making the top 100 Restaurants over the winter! This, combined with the fact that she wanted to try a lot of the menu, and we ordered a LOT- it was the most indulgent and fun night! If you have a couple people I'd highly recommend splitting or sharing pastas, flight style. Or just take home the leftovers- they were delish the next day! Of course we got the ricotta and grilled sourdough which was as good as ever. No notes, just my top favorite starter in the city. For pastas, we tried the gricia, the funghi, spicy vodka, and the lobster pasta. I would have honestly never ordered the lobster on my own but OMG- it was so good! I was totally blown away by the texture and flavor profile that I didn't even have any idea of before. I liked it better than any of the pastas I have previously tried! Funghi was delicious because we both loved mushrooms, but I still prefer that spicy vodka as one of my favorite menu dishes. I love to make vodka sauce at home but this one still tops it and is just so comforting. The gricia was my least favorite- probably just because I had 3 other amazing options in front of me too, I didn't gravitate towards it but I did find my bites savory and satisfying. You really can't go wrong with this menu. And because it's small and navigable, it's not overwhelming to try and fit your fit. If you had any questions about the menu, I'm confident their staff would be so helpful. I've always had such wonderful and friendly service, even when I have trainees or bartenders as servers. The bartender we had on this particular evening was wonderful and struck the perfect balance of making conversation and leaving us to our friend time. He also gave us tasting samples of a NA wine they are offering and gave us excellent menu notes before we ordered. Because my friend was anticipating our visit so much, I wanted to sit in the main dining room with beautiful windows but we sat at the bar downstairs. It was actually so cozy and romantic for a late winter evening and I think that space rivals the upstairs! I used to always request the main room in my reservation but now I want to return with my husband to the downstairs space. Well done, Pepp & Dolores! I already want to come back!

The atmosphere is exactly what you'd want from a neighborhood taproom: casual, lively, and family-friendly. The bar is huge, with an impressive selection of draft beers (especially if you're an IPA fan), and they also have bourbon bottles available for purchase. We ordered burgers, and they were all really good. One bun seemed a little stale, but it didn't take away from the overall meal. The cheese curds were a standout: piping hot, crispy, and definitely worth ordering. The beef nachos, on the other hand, were a bit disappointing. They arrived cold and just didn't have the same wow factor as the rest of the food. My sweet potato fries were a little soggy, but I took the leftovers home and popped them in the air fryer the next day, and they turned out fantastic. Overall, I'd definitely go back.
